KFC in East Riding of Yorkshire

The staff are clearly not happy to be there. Service is slow and unfriendly and the food lacks substance. I was so disappointed and am pleased they opened a Burger King across the road.

What a shame,food was ok but we were ignored by all 3 members of staff.Unprofessional,unpleasant and rude.Toolets were smelly and disgusting,we were the first customers so no one had cleaned them in I don’t know how long,come on guys,get a grip-totally unforgivable

Well where to start? Imagine giving a sugar dependant diabetic(Hypoglycemia) a sugar free drink without telling them....ermmmm the idea is diabolical let alone the potential of a hospital visit if your not switched on and ask. No straws when you order meal through the drive through. So had to walk in to get some. Defeats the object of a drive through. ENSURE YOU NOTIFY CUSTOMERS THAT YOUR DRINKS ARE ALL FULL OF ARTIFICIAL SWEETNERS AND NOT SUGAR SO PEOPLE ARE AWARE AND NOT HAVING THEIR LIVES PUT AT RISK. SHOCKING SHOCKING SHOCKING AND THE RESPONSE I RECIEVED WAS THAT OF DIRE CUSTOMER SERVICES. Won't use this one again.

Waited so long - 40 minutes for fast food is unbelievable and probably would have been longer without complaint. Staff member was apologynitbits a shambles/ Place wasn’t especially clean and the food wasn’t great. Just an awful experience so AVOID

Awful !! food all over floor and napkins dirty seats and tables rubbish bins overflowing - I refused to eat my husband tried the chicken and what’s more the place was empty no excuse definitely need to send in undercover boss will not recommend to anyone

Awful service, very slow, staff disinterested, food was very poor, items missing from the products. place was filthy, tables not cleaned, floors covered in debris. toilets dirty/scruffy, gents hand drier not working. That was only our second ever visit - and our last.

Took my money then told me they do not have my order in stock. The store is ran by a bunch of kids who do not care about the food they are putting out. Thats the 3rd and final time they have got my order wrong... the food was not cooked right. Anx chips were floppy and unseasoned. My sons pinapple stick looked rotten. I regularly go to Southampton KFC when i am at work and the diference in food they put out is astounding, far far better. KFC Pocklington, York Road has bad reviews on all platforms. This is a joke KFC get a grip of this store cause it giving you a bad name.

My husband did a 16mile round trip to pick up a takeaway I ordered via the app. My daughter loves KFC so didn’t mind the journey to pick up a treat for tea! When he got back & I opened the order I was absolutely shocked! The boneless box with 4 fillets looked like they had all been half eaten 😳 amount of chips was disgusting & gravy instead of the beans I had ordered. The 2 zinger burger meals for us were not much better, chicken terrible & amount of chips disgusting particularly when one was meant to be medium & one large, there wasn’t enough for one medium! KFC chips are normally lovely these were slimy with an odd taste. It was as if we had been given the left overs & I’m not even joking! This order was between 7&8 Friday evening so prime time but my husband said the restaurant was deserted, I can understand why! Complete waste of money & dreadful, shocking quality of food. I have given 1 star as it would not let me give zero but definitely did not deserve any!

This is the second time we have eaten here, we should have learned our lesson from the first time. This restaurant is filthy, the food is cold and the staff are rude and don’t give a damn about the paying customer. Please don’t waste your hard earned money on this sorry excuse of a restaurant. It needs closing!

Turned up and ordered a 14 piece bargain bucket and waited 15 minutes in the queue,we eventually got to the pay window only to be told it would be a twenty minute wait for chicken we didn't bother and they were not busy.

Filthy restaurant, rude staff, over flowing bins. The sweeping brush was in the middle of the restaurant, unfortunately the staff members seemed oblivious to this. Too many chiefs and not enough Indians, several filthy tables which remained uncleared, the food was cold and the o w cream machine faulty. Ruined a treat for our family

Nothing special to be honest,waited 20 mins for on meal hovever everything was ready.They have run out of mashed potato,the burger was smal and ot was a bun with letucce and the meat.Not comong back for sure

Don’t bother worst KFC I’ve ever been too . Food was very dry and unappetising . It’s in a good location but very disappointing

Yet again another disgraceful visit we waited 40 mins to be servered to find out as the lad was passing out the food that they had ran out of gravy also the car park was an absolute mess it looked like someone had been and emptied all the bins out over the car park I did mention to the lad that served us that they need to get someone to clear it up as rubbish was blowing everwhere we sat in the car park to eat our food that was warm but not hot as you would expect waiting there for all that time its not the first time I have been and there has been rubish all over the place but last time it was inside not out side but it will be the last time I eat there as we were sat eating it look like they were all rushing around inside to get cleared up to go home so I'm assuming nothing got cleared up outside

Have contacted KFC customer services via email tonight as this is the fourth time I have visited half an hour early for the staff to tell me they have no chicken left. I understand the restaurant closes at 9pm , however I visited at 8.30pm when most restaurants around the area would stop serving food at this time. It is a great shame as I am a local and all locals enjoy the food at great prices which is the point of this review. I would much rather prefer the staff to tell me the truth they have turned off the fryers and have no chicken cooked rather than tell me “we have run out of chicken” Moral of the story, especially with being a chain restaurant is, if you want to close early, let your customers know the correct opening times. Hope this problem is addressed.

We placed our order at 6.57pm and at 7.43pm we finally received our order if we hadn’t paid on the app we would of left. The drive through service was appalling. The young man couldn’t apologise enough but it shouldn’t of been up to him where was the manager ? The zinger burger had ketchup overload and the lettuce in my tower burger was like snot. I had to scoop it out of my sandwich before I could eat it. The people eating in seemed to get there orders much quicker especially the two guys in uniform think they were waiting five minutes.

Horrendous had to wait 35 minutes for fast food. I wasn’t the only one too there was a shop full. Absolute joke
