KFC in Melton

We ordered a delivery on just eat for 21.30pm on Tuesday 16th April 2024. From Melton Mowbray KFC . The meal never ever arrived. We tried to contact the branch but there was nobody to pick up the phone. Paid through my paypal so should hopefuly get the money back.......will go to the store tomorrow to make sure i get my money back. This is the second issue i have had with this outlet....my first order at least turned up but one item missing. Will not use KFC MELTON MOWBRAY again.

Food was ok hot as it had just come out however it only has a small eating area you think it would not be hard to keep clean obviously not dirty and greasy cmon.

Honestly, Stevie wonder could do a better job than the workers in there. They always mess my order up!! Those teletubbies need to be taught how to properly do stuff in there

I have NEVER used a KFC in my 75 years. If this is typical, I will never do so again. Chicken pieces had lots of small broken bones in. ‘Chips’ were abysmal. Dips for some reason were missing. Corn on the cob was soggy and inedible.

Quite possibly the strangest little KFC I have ever visited, very slow, confused looking staff but I must say the food was quite good when I eventually got it!

That's the worst KFC ever...wait half hour. And still nothing.after they mixed all orders.people was really ungry...never again ...never

This has to be the worst KFC I have had in my life. I get KFC every now and then in Melton, usually its alright but never has it made me leave a review, especially one like this. We decided to get 2 box meals. Both with Tango. We ordered on the app and came to collect. My friend went in to pick it up, and a staff member had a go at him for not paying, for my mate to tell him hes paid on the app. We then took our food and left only to realise that we were both given pepsi max instead of tango. The zinger box meal was supposed to have 2 hot wings instead came with 1 normal piece of dry chicken. There were no napkins, no salt sachets, 4 straws for 2 drinks and the food wasnt even hot. Whoever was working on today (Thu 5th August) need to improve on their attitude and their eyesight. The staff there today are clearly not trained at all to have messed up 1 simple order this much. Doubt ill be eating there as much

The customer experience in this KFC is dreadful. This was my third visit for takeout since the store opened. To be fair, the service is consistent. Unfortunately it is consistently slow and confused from start to finish. Entering this outlet is like going into a time void - you have no idea when you'll eventually get out and if you will actually end up with what you ordered in the first place.

Never had a really great experience at this KFC but this beats them all, we have a big order so obviously we know we are in for a wait, when they finally start getting it ready the lad drops a bit of chicken on the floor picks it up and takes it round the back, then he puts our chicken in a tub into a bag with the fries then drops this on the floor. He is annoyed about this and takes it round the back saying he can’t give it to the customer cause we’ve seen him drop it, he starts the order again but then takes this round the back aswell then we go away with our order. When we get home and start dishing out we realise that they have given us the bag that has been on the floor as the box is battered and some of the chicken is broken up, also we have 2 things missing off the order. Melton KFC really need to sort themselves out.

This is a tiny KFC but we didn't expect only 1 lady serving on the tills on a Thursday lunchtime. It took ages to order and a lot longer to get our food. With impatient kids, its not ideal. The food was about average and hot at least although the chips were quite brown which usually suggests old oil. The place itself was dirty and had an overflowing bin. The toilet was filthy. They need more staff clearly.

Nothing exciting about this branch of KFC it just does what it says on the outside signs the upside is that it is next to the small car park

Quite often very busy in here, but the food is always good quality the service can sometimes be pretty slow though and it's fairly small inside if you want to eat in.

Town Centre Location is good, with free parking outside. The outlet is pretty much par for it's type, bright but bland. Service was below standard however. Despite being the only customer at the time, I was ignored by the counter staff, until they had completed the admin task they were engrossed in. Insulting, to say the least. The food was par for the course, I got what I paid for & it was tasty enough and adequate. Useful if a bite on the go is what you need.

Went in the other night near closing time, haven't been in KFC Melton since last year. When I went in last time it seemed very under staff but the staff were very friendly and professional and there was long waits but the food was ok but it's always ok it's KFC, this seems to be happing in alot of KFC's being under staffed? Going back to the other night, knowing friends that have worked in employment sector if you haven't completed your tasks by a certain time you don't get paid but still have to complete the tasks. I went in and they was closing down and I ordered around £20 ish of food and told there was going to be a wait but it came quicker than expected, staff fantastic,professional and the food was great. Just wanted to say a big thank you and see you shortly again.

Love a good KFC and even though this one is always fresh, it comes with the waiting time, if it’s quiet then about 5-10 minutes if it’s busy then 20+ minutes. Often out of stock of items too. But again the food is always fresh which is why it will continue to get a 4 rating.

Absolutely love KFC but this one is extremely disapointing. There are hardly any staff with one member of the team just wandering around whilst everybody else was working their socks off! The restaurant was dirty with food left unswept under the tables and tables not cleared and dirty, we asked for napkins to clean our own. We waited a reasonable amount of time but had to go back to the counter for just about everything, ketchup, plates and forks, food was going cold by then. There is one toilet in this restaurant and that one is not very pleasant. We will be making a detour to another KFC in the future.

We called in with the grandchildren on the way home from a day at Twin Lakes. There's not a lot of sit down space, it's mainly for takeaway I suppose. Anyway, we found a table for us five. The staff were friendly and helpful. The food - well it's KFC! It tasted good to us, we all enjoyed it.

I am actually quite a fan of kfc, it has a role in life, but this store was terrible, Friday evening tea time and got to counter to be told no chicken! in a chicken restaurant at peak time. when it was cooked got the only available table-it only has about 4 or 5 and sat alongside previous customers debris, no attempt by staff to clean or clear. Thank god I don't live any where near this place

This has to be one of the worst fast food restaurants in the world staff are just dippy losers with no hope in life to succeed ,quite funny to laugh at tbh makes you feel better about your day , food is crap more for you if you wanna spend your own money here stay away

Never again! I had the chicken burger meal. The chicken was over cooked and tough and the chips were cold. The other meals weren’t much better. The only good thing was the chicken popcorn Should have gone to McDonald’s 💕

All the usual KFC menu items and drinks it is next to a small car park that can be busy on certain week days

I have not been to KFC for some time and now I remember why..manky dry tasteless chicken..noisy.. not that clean and when I asked if the chicken was Halal they could not tell me but were very evasive in answering..not going there ever again

I enjoy this fast food as a takeaway, although you can sit and eat. There is a good choice of food to suit all individuals. A good deal and drinks included. Good choice after a night out, or if you just don't want to cook. Adequate parking right next to the restaurant/takeaway

Has to be one of the smallest KFC outlets in UK!

I remember when this was newly built seeing a note on the blackboard about if the staff didn't like it to leave or get sacked. Not impressed! All the staff seem miserable still and I can't blame them with that attitude thrust their way by their supervisor! The service is quick but don't expect it with a smile!

If you are in a rush and you want a quick take away it a good place to go kid love the food as well as all us adults nice one
