This place is still filthy , with everyones old packaging, bits of food , smeared sauces on tabletops, bins overflowing and staff doing nothing to clean it up . I was here for 40 mins deliberately to see if any staff did anything about the hygeine .. it looked like the bags and debris had built up during the whole day .. larger bags were on the floor in corners and under tables . It was the same when I visited 3 years ago . I ordered 3x pieces of chicken and some fries .. i had to return to the counter to show them there were only 2 pieces inside .. and the place wasnt really busy . 3 years ago when i notified KFC of this same appalling hygeine set up - the area manager retorted that it was”okay” when he visited, and KFC HQ accepts this as a check . The food was edable and the brown paper bag provided to rip and eat off inside - soaked up most of the grease adequately. I recc to my 6,500 followers to try elsewhere. This is my worst review in 20+ years of completing them all over the world . As per usual I have no links with KfC or the staff at this establishment and I received no incentives.

Went in for a 6piece family feast you would expect a mix of chicken … no… what we did get was all wings..!!!!! Extremely dry and tasted like they had been kept warm for hours the gravy was like water and cold soggy fries. Absolutely shocking. Not the first time either not been for 8 months as the last order was also poor but thought it may have got better so thought would try again… there is always something wrong with an order from here not sure how this place keeps going….!

Avoid this hole like the plage , never ever had such rubbish dry and cold food in my life how they can send out what i have just recived is a total rubbish and who ever thought changing the fries to what they are now needs a head wobble 28 quid and it all went in the bin if i hadnt had a couple of wines i would of taken it back and tipped it on the counter Avoid Avoid the place, needs closing down for good who ever runs the franshise should be ashamed total and utter crap

Came here today on my work break for first time and it will be the last. Ordered at 14:37 for 4 piece chicken and chips. Finally got the food at 14:55 as was waiting for the chicken to be cooked. When it did arrive it was too hot to eat so had to throw away as break was over. Never known a KFC have a wait on chicken. No communication from staff as if you had said chicken was going to be 20 mins I would not have ordered. I did overhear a conversation between staff that chicken was 8 mins until ready . This was not the case at all.

Was visiting someone at the hospital yesterday and hadn’t eaten all day so just wanted to get a snack. Got a mini fillet burger. I have been up all night vomitting and feel extremely ill.

Never been to Runcorns KFC before. Arrived on a dark rainy evening and jumped out of my car and ran in to meet a friend. For my trouble received a £100 parking fine, for enjoying my food and staying too long! Generously reduces to £60 if I cough up quickly! NEVER GOING THERE AGAIN! Money making thieves!

I had to give a one rating otherwise it would not let me write this review. When I went to the KFC in Runcorn Hospital way. The staff inside of the establishment was so unprofessional. Left me standing there while there were fighting amongst each other playing and fighting joking around. While I was still standing there waiting to be served. In the end I had to intervene and say something to them. I don’t know who trained these young people. But who ever did needs to go back and get themselves retrained. The comments they make about customers is disgraceful. And it needs to be shut down. To finish off this conversation I also got stomach cramps off their food. Environmental hygiene standards. People need to go inside this establishment and see it for themselves. No one should go there.

Ordered a zinger wrap meal online, took well over an hour to arrive and was stone cold when it did. Barely any chips and the chicken in the wrap looked like it had been pulled apart, not to mention there was no pickled slaw on it, just lettuce? By the time it was delivered the gravy was over 30 mins past it’s sell time, so had been sat there well over 6 hours. Also paid for a dip and never received. Tried to ring the store, no answer. Will not be coming back. AVOID

Tried twice in the last two weeks to order from Runcorn KCF. Uber eats the first time and Just Eat the second. Neither managed to deliver my food. Just eats even asked if I would like a refund for not getting my food. Also told the food was 1 minute away after and hour and a half. Joke of a store KFC you should deal with this store as clearly from the consistency of the low stores they are a poor reflection on your brand.

For the 3rd time, KFC fail to give napkins or wipes with drive through orders. Is this a cost cutting exercise? If it is, it has backfired as I refuse to use you again. Your chicken is go greasy you need a wad of napkins to wipe the grease from your hands. Shame on you !

Never received order but got charged for it message it was delivered but wasn't crap don't waste your time worst online ordering if your hungry forget this place can't even get through on the phone

We came to the kfc for our tea which we do often the staff got my order wrong and this particular member of staff had an appalling attitude she was extremely rude towards me telling me i got what I ordered she also charged me for 2 full meals when all I received was 2 burgers (which were wrong also) and 2 small chips and the chips were threw into the bag She also never gave me the choice to even change or correct my order and told me to move on I personally will never return here and I’ll be telling people I know not to return either

What is it about people working for KFC, is it the poor selection of staff or is it bad management. The staff here are so miserable and angry. Two particular males speak to other members like utter rubbish, show absolutely no manners to customers and give a horrible vile feeling

went to the drive through to be told no chicken fillets, so changed order, then told only 2 sides available , gravy and coleslaw, again changed, Then when at window told no white coffee, again changed to sprite. When we got home, shocked, the chicken pieces in the colonels meal x 2 were burnt, dry and unable to eat. The sprite was as flat as water , so was the coke. Also ordered wings and guess what they were not in the bag. the service by the staff member was abrupt, i understand it must be hard but some please and thanks you are always good. Further why not tell us no chicken fillets when we are starting our order i would definitely go elsewhere to be honest

Staffs are so rude, they need some training on how to talk to customers and how to treat customers , shouting at customers and ignoring customers , I was ignored three times by the guy , he looked at me and I was speaking to him , he just didn’t reply and walked away, if you can’t do your job properly just leave it to someone who knows how to work and treat customers , I am really shocked at the level of disrespect, this is damaging the KFC reputation, Such a shame.

I visited KFC this afternoon and again had a very unwelcome service. This also happened last time I visited and I said I’d never return, not only do they always get your order wrong, they never apologise and it’s always cold, not only are the staff rude so is there manager, ( who definitely needs re training or better still replacing) I’m a business owner myself and if my staff spoke and treated customers the way they do here they would not be employed at my business anymore. I’m not one to ever write a review or even complain but these people have made me so angry they don’t deserve my business or money which helps to keep them in a job, looking at these other reviews I can see I’m not the only one to complain. I have visited this reastraunt on seral ocasions previosly I've eaten in and also had drive thro this time I used a delivery company As with all my previous dealings the order was incomplete !Then I found it's impossible to contact the place to sort it out The phone rings till you get a message saying they can't answer the phone and you can't leave a message The only email contact is with head office and that can take 7 days for a reply .So my advise DONT use this restraint

Went kfc tonight I requested a large popcorn chicken meal which means large chips and large drinks aswell as the popcorn chicken and I didn't get it I just got a large popcorn with no large drinks or fries I just got a small drink and small fries and they overcharged so hang your head in shame kfc so I'm afraid I'll be taking my custom elsewhere in future .

Very pleased with my visit. Lovely staff all round my cashier was lovely I could see the panic on her face as she just started but she was very pleasant and kind and making conversation. Didnt receive the correct order at the driver through so was told to enter the restaurant even in the current climate with the virus. To then be greeted with even more rude members of staff is not on. Will not be returning or suggesting this restaurant to anyone. AVOID!!!!.

With the current situation, covid - 19, people are being asked to stay home. We ordered a delivery via just eat and paid online. When the order arrived, it was incorrect. On calling KFC we were told that they would correct the order but they were unable to deliver as the drivers were not employed by them and refused to go back out as it would put them at risk. We messaged just eat and they said it wasn’t their fault and blamed KFC. Absolutely disgraceful that these two companies are supposedly working together but neither were willing to do anything to correct the mistake. My husband had to go out and get the correct meal, by the time it took to sort out, we all sat down to a cold meal that none of us enjoyed.

Every single time the portions seem to get smaller and smaller. And more expensive. I must say they are usually quite friendly and good at getting orders correct though nine out of ten times in my own experience.

I visit KFC Runcorn not so frequent and unfortunately every time I visit, my order is never right. After this last visit I thought I just had to mention this. I ordered an 8 piece dipping boneless first, I was given the bag and realised I did not have my bottle of pop, I then had to beep and shout at the window to request this, he handed me the bottle without even an apology. I then gets home to find that the dips were missing from my order, the clue is in the meal name but they still miss it. Also, on every occasion we are never given, serviettes or anything for our hands, as we are doing takeaway and likely eating in the car, a meal that is not un messy, this should be automatic. To top it all the chicken was very dry, which is not good for this franchise, I hope they up their game as they will lose customers quickly with service like this.

Place needs a good clean and refurbishment. Bad customer service, miserable and unpleasant when taking orders. Food is soggy and they charge stupid prices and do not fill them up for example the popcorn chicken boxes etc. The place is a whole shambles!

Visited at just gone 11 am, the place is littered with food from god knows when, seats are ripped and grotty and the place hasn’t been cleaned properly in a while. Decided to leave without eating, the worst KFC I’ve visited without doubt. Only gave it a 1 as I couldn’t go lower.

Went for lunch today and i was disgusted at the state of the store!! It looks like it hasnt been cleaned in months, thick dirt and grime on Windows, table bases and chairs, there were only two customers and not busy at all but no one even bothered to come out and clean tables or brush the floor!! The worst KFC in the country. Literally the last 3 times we’ve been they’ve run out of chicken...in a restaurant famous for it’s chicken. Today I’ve visited, ordered original recipe chicken, got home to find they’ve given me what looks like standard chicken I’d buy in the supermarket. Zero taste to it and dry. Avoid at all costs, there’s a subway and McDonald’s around the corner.

I come to KFC quite often but I'd say the biggest problem is that for some reason they actually allow herds of around 20 teenagers into the store if one of them makes a purchase. They are always extremely loud and obnoxious and completely ruin the atmosphere of the restaurant where for most people it's a treat to eat out. Don't go here.

I placed my order at the runcorn kfc at around 7pm this evening 25/04/18 and was asked for £3.98 paid £4 for it and told the lady to keep the change. I arrived home to find my gravy missing. So I drove back to the store and said to the lady ‘ hiya, you’ve forgot my gravy’ to which she replied ‘ just go to the window’ she asked me to give her the original order, and said she would have to make me a brand new order, I didn’t understand why she couldn’t give me the mission gravy. Anyway I took the bag and drove home. Again I found there was no gravy. My fault for not checking. So I drove back up to the store and again through the drive through and because by this time I had originally ordered my dinner 20 minutes earlier and used petrol and time was a wee bit frustrated. so I drive to the window and said ‘ it’s me again, and I asked in as jolly a tone as I could muster, After being messed about by someone who wasn’t listening or paying attention. I asked was she thick or something because there’s no gravy in there again. ‘ she giggled obviously not sensing on her own how frustrated a person gets when havin to travel back not once but twice, hungry. Which meant I’d visited the store three times in 40 minutes. So I went into the store and I asked to see the manager and she refused telling me she was going on her break. She then threw her head set down and went in the back. The manager josh came and said ‘what do you want ‘ I replied ‘my gravy. I’ve been home twice and had to come back To the store, all I need is to have my gravy. He called to the girl in the back to tell him my order to which she replied ‘ I’m on my break.’ I then got angry and said that she should come and sort this mess out as she’s caused it. The manager then asked me what my order was and when I told him he said ‘erm, no ‘ so I said ‘no what ?’ And he said your not getting your order. I then became very angry and asked for my money back. He said no again and said ‘ get out my store ‘ I said ‘ no. You can’t do that. You’ve made an error and now your holdin my dinner or my money to Ransom, all I wanted was the gravy I paid for in my order forty minutes ago this is disgusting ‘ I was almost in tears at this point and visibly shaking. The only thing keeping me from crying was the other people in the store. I informed the manager JOSH that it was theft, and II’ll have my money back and go elsewhere. I then pulled out my phone and told him I was recording this and would call the police. He twitched a bit and told me I could have my money back and went in to the office at the back. So I waited... and I waited. And another ten minutes of waiting, listening to the girl behind the counter telling another customer ‘ yeah she’s been back here twice for her gravy and he won’t give her the money back ‘ I asked the girl where the manager was with my refund. He came out and threw a handful of money in my hand and yelled ‘get out my store’. I went back to my car and counted them money in my hand and there was £2.49 in small change. So I marched back in and told him he hadn’t given me the correct amount of money and he screamed at me “if I give you a pound out of my own pocket will you f**k off out of my store. So I said no. Your not giving me anything out of your own pocket. Your giving me what you owe me” I In turn started to swear.. I couldn’t believe what was happening to me. In kfc in Runcorn all for a pot of gravy. Anyway he argued with me over how much I had spent in the store and had to ask the original lady who took my order how much (for the twelfth time) my order cost and she shouts £3.98 and she gave me £4. So I with my shoulders completely deflated by all this, said “finally” he threw and I mean threw £1 coin at me and told me to get out. I couldn’t take it anymore, I couldn’t believe what had happened. I have since tried to contact JOSH the manager at the runcorn store and he slammed the phone down on me. I am currently in the complaints process with kfc head office and the police were informed. I shoulda went to Mac Donald’s....

Quick service through the drive thru. Only downside is they have stopped serving corn, which my child is very disappointed about.

The service is dreadful. The last time I went in this place I waited over 5 minutes to get served while there was staff wandering around the place and there were only two other customers in the place who had already been served. Even though they saw me waiting to be served not one member of staff approached me to take my order. Needless to say I left and went to McDonalds. The only reason I gave them a 1/5 in my rating is because I couldn't go any lower.

About an hour ago, given that KFC have had some issues with their limited menu, I rang them (Runcorn branch) and asked whether they were open, and were there any issues with the limitations to their menu.

Don't visit this place, best advice I could give you. After a few visits where they first served me with luke warm food, then got my order wrong and then had me waiting for 40mins despite the gaff being empty I vowed never to go back and I never will. Chao adios I'm done

Called here tonight at 6pm. On entering the "restaurant" I was met with 12 (yes 12) dirty tables, food, straws and serviettes all over the floor. I should have turned around and walked straight back out again but alas I didn't. I placed my order - a 6 piece bargain bucket - and then the wait began. I counted 8 other people also waiting for their orders to be produced. Spoke to one of the people who were waiting and he said the delay was because they had run out of chicken!!!!! It's a KFC - they sell CHICKEN -how can they run out. It's not like they have anything else on the menu!!!!! And more to the point, this was never mentioned to me when I ordered. If I had been told I would have gone elsewhere. Eventually received my order after 25 minutes with a very feeble apology and did I want a bottle of pop for the inconvenience?? Efficient customer service would have been better. AVOID THIS KFC AT ALL COSTS OR ENTER AT YOUR OWN RISK !!!!!

This is the worst fast food store ever it should be called Slow food and get what you're given not what you order the staff are not very polite and helpful and they don't care what they give you and the food is always very greasy and freezing cold i would not reccomend the Runcorn KFC to my worst enemy all our food went in the bin and when i phoned i was given a reference number to go and get the meals again for free do i really want to go i would have appreciated my money back

They quite often run out of Chicken! Restaurant is definitely not the cleanest KFC I've been to! Orders are also often wrong when you use drive through!

Always seam to wait an age here. Staff never happy nor polite. They can never complete an order as they always have 'something' out of stock. Will travel to the next town rather than use the runcorn branch

I have never been to such a dirty unorganized establishment in my life. I didn't want to order after we walked in but my partner wanted to so we did. However after a 30 minute wait for food to then be told they had run out was just joke. I didn't bother asking to speak to the manager as i had heard him talking to another customer and he just kept saying there is nothing I can do. I didn't want to waste anymore of your time so we left.

Company is a joke, over work there staff re-date out of date chicken. no respect for there staff. filthy store, horrible staff and management all they do is sit in a sweaty office!

I have eaten here a few times and not been overly impressed in the past so decided to give it another go. There have been some improvements but meal was luke warm and order was incorrect. they put matters right and apologised though a smile off the staff would have helped.

Just been through the drive through. I wrote a poor review for this KFC a couple of months ago and there have been changes for the good. The food was fresh, staff polite and there was no wait, what more could you expect from a fast food restaurant. Well done to the new staff, keep it up.

I ordered a bacon and cheese fillet burger, and,luckily checked it before drove off, as the bacon was missing. I went back in to point out the mistake, where it was taken off me and returned with the bacon included now. I checked again before I drove off, and found a piece of stone cold bacon had been thrown on top of the bun, which held my now tepid burger. I went in for a refund, and was relieved of my receipt by a manager, who did the transaction without even looking at me, and walked off without a word, leaving the poor girl behind the till even more bemused than me!KFC head office replied to my complaint, basically just fobbing me off, and hoping I will enjoy my next visit! Serious reality check needed I think!So, in conclusion, don't go here, or anywhere else displaying the KFC logo, they pay their obviously untrained staff peanuts, get monkeys, and are making massive profits on our unwillingness to complain about very poor service. Look for the big M, they smile there too.

Place was dead and staff cleaning up, no gravy (one of my favourites) and no chicken breast in meal which is a really annoying aspect how you have to ask , paying over £6 for a single meal it's expected. KFC need to rethink policy. Will try somewhere else when I'm area.

The food was good. However a trip to the loo was the worse I've seen in a long while. There was one looks in the ladies with a broken seat and the other with no seat it was gone. There was also some extra presents on the porcelain too. The restaurant itself was modern and clean. It seems to be plagued by local teens just hanging out, they caused little trouble while we were there other than being noisy. There is also another issue, everytime we have visited for the last 6months there has been no crush'ums as the machine was out of service..not sure if this is bad luck or bad maintenance.
