I was served by a very polite girl called Cody couldn’t do enough for us, would go back there as I had service with a smile would definitely go back to the store especially If it’s more people like Cody 😊

This restaurant is improving. We had really good service on our latest visit. No receipt at the order point as usual. The staff member we dealt with was new and tried hard to please us and was polite and friendly. The food was really good! We’ll keep going and hopefully things will continue to improve.

KFC in Caerphilly is terrible. very dirty! The food is everywhere, on the floor on the tables. I had a white jacket on and I was afraid to touch anything. I asked the staff to clean up. Nobody did. They were busy talking! Fear to eat in this place lest you get poisoned by something. Horrible place and staff. Staff wasn't interested them job! This place make me 🤮

OK as fast food take away. Difficult menu in drive through, no time to decide what to have if you are not a KFC regular. Still expensive for what you get, especially as you get a brown bag instead of a bucket, not so great when having a drive through meal. Overall as expected

Unbelievable how bad this place is..rude staff who just act like you are an inconvenience if you go inside, food is either undercooked or burnt. Even the kids don't want to go there now. I love KFC but won't be going to this branch again after consistently bad service, food and rubbish everywhere. Needs shutting down

Paid £16 for a 4 piece delivery. Only 1 piece of chicken ordered. Tried to call several times. No answer. AVOID this mess of a restaurant

Just spoke to a young lady called Bradey over the phone to discuss my order as I was unable to make any adjustments via Just Eat. Bradey was extremely polite, helpful and accommodating and I was very impressed with the customer service that I received from her- so much so that I have actually left a review before actually receiving my meal as I feel that she deserves a good review regardless. A lovely person to deal with and her courteous was noted on a busy Friday night. KFC this employee is noteworthy indeed.

Customer service was very bad. Chips cold and there was hardly any in the serving. Chicken over cooked and cold. The bread roll was dry and not very nice to eat. Worse food ever. Never going there again.

One of the worst places i have ordered from on just eat i ordered family feast i got 6 chicken witch looks like it came from a budgie not chicken corn on corb was big enough for an ant to carry no bottle of coke delivered with meal phone and manger said she packed it her self and its not thier fult was rude never will I order from this place again aviod at all cost I may as well put 23 pounds in the bin family feast joke wouldn't feed a family of mice

Staff are so rude, really don’t care about the customers. The food is always poor. We came here last week, begrudgingly! Food was cold. When at the window could see lots of food over the floor, the staff weren’t friendly with the customers and were more interested gossiping with each other. Every time I visit this place it’s a bad experience I don’t think they care at all abouts any of its customers!

Thought we'd pop into drive through for a snack on the way home from shopping. The entire ordeal took over 35mins, despite there only being two occupied tables inside. Im assuming the management aren't keeping enough staff in, which is unfair on both staff and customers. Got back, the fries were missing from the meal, the coating was so salty it was barely edible and one of the pieces of chicken was undercooked. Worst KFC ever, go to another branch if you want edible food.

Ordered food, delivery driver placed food on doorstep, took photo then took the food . Didn't attempt to knock door or ring bell, unfortunately for him I have the proof on my RING doorbell . Trying to get issue rectified is impossible when communicating with a robot . Hope the driver enjoys MY food that I paid for

Based on the ubereats delivery I had tonight this branch is appalling. Food was cold, large rice and large beans were a joke. First and last time I’ll order from here. AVOID!!!

Not a regular fast food customer but thought we'd call in. Really disappointed. Staff were fine but food was pretty poor. Even though we asked for a large chips the portion was child size and Luke warm. The chicken pieces were over cooked and chewy. Won't be returning.

Just because there is a lockdown and your just open don’t mean you can be tight with the food I had about 10 chips a bun with no fillet and boiling hot tango SHOCKING

I was served today by Nico. What a kind young man! I was actually on a social call with an elderly and disabled client. Nico saw us struggling to get through the door (my client is wheelchair bound) and in no time was there holding the door open for us to enter safely. On leaving he was quick to again hold the door for us to exit safely. While the first piece of chicken served was like rubber and going cold... as soon as I explained my concerns to Nico he was only too happy to exchange it for me and the next “lot” was perfect. All in all a happy visit... Thankyou Nico.

Just went in there to order food with my partner i went to ask the young girl serving me a question about the meal on the board but she walked away to change a lid on a guys drink who was already seating in which was fine she came back to serve me and said eating in or out nothing else I said I'd like to ask you a question about the meal on the board which she gave me a stinking look and attitude, which I said what's with the attitude which she replied I only asked you if your eating in or out after me saying i wanted to ask about the meal on the board which basically me leaving there not ording anything and her walking off out the back of the store not at all bothered, disgusting service wont be going there again.

Every time I've gone here in the past it tastes as if the oil is burnt and the chicken is left too long in the heaters. My local KFC and I prefer to drive 10 mins to Nantgarw branch.

This was my first and last visit to KFC Caerphilly. I visited with my daughter and my two young grandchildren. The whole experience was a shambles. To start, they only had one vegetarian meal which I didn’t fancy, salad and rice, so I ordered corn on the cob and chips, I wanted tea to drink but their hot drinks machine wasn’t working. The kids had chicken and chips, we were told there would be a 15 minute wait. We paid and while we walked over to a table, we noticed how dirty and grubby everything looked, dirty tables, dirty chairs, dirty floors and crumbs everywhere . While we were sitting waiting for our meal my 21 month old grandson was pointing at the cobwebs on the light shade above our table. My granddaughter wanted the toilet, the two ladies toilets they had were both dirty. By now I was just wishing we had gone to McDonald’s, they are always cleaning, KFC needs to take a leaf out of their book. When our food was finally ready I was told there would be another 15 minute wait for the corn on the cob, staff were apologetic but I wasn’t prepared to wait another 15 minutes so cancelled the corn which left me with just chips, I went in hungry and came out hungry. I will never step foot in this dirty, grubby place again.

Very friendly and helpful staff in particular Casey was amazing and food was delicious both me an the wife had the boneless banquet, her with corn on the cob side me with beans then we both ordered the new daredevil bits which were stunning very happy with our visit and would highly recommend a visit

We took our 3 Grandsons and had the Tuesday 2 x 9 pieces for £5.99 and 4 fries and soft drinks for £19.34 the chicken and fries were piping hot and the chicken portions lovely KFC taste were more than adequate for the hungry boys 5 pieces went home for their dad, , overall nice experience.

Ordered almost £15 worth of food for myself and my partner, my partner had a bonus banquet and I had a zinger tower box meal. Both were freezing cold except the gravy. The zinger tower box meal was all cold except the gravy, every other time I’ve had this box meal I have had the full experience whereas this time I didn’t even get what I paid for, I had 1 piece of chicken and not even the full “burger”. Couldn’t eat it. Absolutely disgusting quality, will not be purchasing from here again.

I purchased a 10 piece family bucket and found it only contained the cheap cuts of chicken, 5 drumsticks and 5 thighs. What a rip off! To add to this the chips were barely warm, the sweet corn sides were tasteless and the gravy was a solid piece that I was able to stand up on my plate! Hideous. If it wasn’t a few miles round trip I would have gone back. A complete rip off and I’ll never go back. Suggest you do the same.

The smallest overcooked stingy portions i have seen from a KFC, if you go through the drive through, check your food, the are pathetic portions, this is where they get rid of the drum sticks from a sparrow, check before you leave!!! you have been warned.

You'd like to think that KFC was the same wherever you go! However I'd recommend Nantgarw over Caerphilly any day. Yet again there is no ice-cream! A child's meal offers ice cream as a desert however it's not available. Food was disappointingly warm, rather than hot and I'm sure that staff are more inclined to converse amongst themselves than show caring, customer service.

Should have know better than to eat here, from the start it was going to be bad, the whole restaurant was dirty most of the tables were full of rubbish.

6 of us went all ordered separate food, we had to wait longer than 20 minutes for the food to be given to us although we could see the food sat on the side waiting. every order we placed was given to us incorrectly and the food was cold. they were understaffed, the restaurant itself and toilets were disgustingly dirty and no toilet paper provided, wee all over the floor. it was dinner time (12.15) and they had one member of staff serving who advised us it was her first day today. the queue was pretty much out the door. not impressed at the level of service, cleanliness or attitude of the staff there

This is not the first time this has happened we arrived at KFC today and there was no one at the tills, there was a girl doing fries and kept taking orders for drive through kept looking at us and no a word was mentioned. After 20 mins we walked out. 2 men walked in. Went to drive through and she said wait 2 mins and served in store 5 mins later we just drove off, this was pathetic. No food, not even a sorry ill be with you in a min, nothing. This girl does the same thing when we walk in. This was the final straw I will not be returning to this KFC customer service is pathetic.

Bought takeaway 12/6/2018. Restaurant dirty with napkins,straw wrappers etc over floor. No one at counter, waited five minutes then served by assistant we couldn't understand. Could not complete order as ice cream machine not working. Did not make a certain burger even though was shown on website. WORST was the sharing bucket. Chicken grey covered in a batter that was probable cooked for more than once. NEVER AGAIN

I ordered a party box meal inside restaurant. They messed up big time on this order. There was 2 portian of fries missing. Portion of chicken wings and side orders missing. The staff don't seem to care at this KFC. No apology given and no manager to complain too. They just have a working supervisor that don't care either.

After picking the wife up from work, I thought I’d pop to KFC. I went through the drive through and was asked to wait which I didn’t mind...

We had been shopping at wickes for bathroom furnishing, children wanted food when we came out so we took them to kfc, they got our order wrong, we had food missing and the staff were very rude and ignorant. Never again will we be visiting this kfc again.

In work today the lads worked well so we sent out for 2 large bargain buckets with all the extras.Prior to arrival a couple of them were apprehensive as they are local and said this KFC was'nt the best .Well speak as we found ! I have read the previous reviews however todays food was really nice and every one enjoyed it thoroughly .So not being a regular here all i can say is the food was really nice and i would have it again , hopefully it will be just as nice , who knows but i will give them the opportunity .

This is one very slow service. Did drive through to be quick. Ordered our food & told it would be 10 minutes. Asked to park outside & someone would bring the food out. The car behind us was told the same. We watched 4 other people turn up walk inside & come out with they're food before we had ours. My self & the guy in the next car both had to go inside & ask for our food after about 20 minutes. The staff were apologetic but when we mentioned we saw other people get they're food before us the senior guy behind the counter said sorry but you came at the wrong time we are very busy & it happens. Not the greatest person to have in charge.

Disappointed time and time again, finally giving up after another waste of time and money. If the staff listened while the order is being placed then surely they would actually get it right for once!! Rubbish service, unrealistic waiting times and staff like zombies who are incapable of providing a simple fast food service!

Only to be told I will now have to come in, there was people waiting for their food and the staff were just stood there with no communication or customer service what so ever, no attempt to serve people and no attempt to show any urgency or desire to provide a service. Won't be going back, I remember when Kentucky fried chicken was a great place but KFC is a pale memory of this. Pathetic

Waited 15 mins in the drive thru to get my food out, yes I was told that there was a 10 minute wait in a empty restaurant. So I would make do and wait, upon approaching the pay counter of the drive thru I would appreciate a little thank you from your staff when I handover my hard earned cash (which came to over 20£.).

I am not a particular fan of fast food, however I used to like an occasional KFC as the chicken was really nice and some of their rice meals and burritos were really good. The Caerphilly branch used to be very good when it first...

As someone else has mentioned, this was also my third try at this place. There have been considerable periods of time between my visits in the vain hope that improvements have been madeService was quick enough via the drive thru' but cold chips and greasy chicken isn't my idea of lunch.Dont get me wrong, KFC is my favourite fast food, but this outlet just doesn't cut it. Time for someone in the organisation to look at these reviews I think.I'll NOT be back.

terrable service ,didnt have no boneless chicken ,i like to nip out for a takeaway without going inside the restaurant as i dont need to dress up,but to be told over the intercom to order inside as the intercom dousnt work when she just spoke on it just didnt make sense ,i went to mcdonald up the road and told them they found it hilarious,a drive through where you have to go inside restaurant,i wont be going there again

How can you have a KFC that does not have chicken or fries at 8pm on a Saturday evening I called in to pick up family buckets as I had friends around at that is what I was told I think that is absolutely ridiculous why bother opening

The girl serving had a face that would curdle milk. She obviously did not give a damn about customers. One member of staff was curled up under the counter on her phone. The rest were all screaming laughing and joking. Never again. Whata shambles!

Today was the last straw with Caerphilly KFC! Poor customer service and bad food! Myself and my boyfriend ordered food at the drive thru when we received our drinks we had realised we forgot to order a large (our fault completely). The girl at the window advised it would only be £1 to rectify so we did. When the girl serving us shouted to the kitchen the order was now a large another lady in an aggressive shouted are you kidding! I couldn't believe it and advised the girl serving us that we had heard the other staff members comment, to which she replied yeah I know and she's the manager........my face dropped!! Absolutely disgusting behaviour from a restaurant manager. This restaurants staff are totally incompetent and childish. I work in customer services and if I spoke to a client the way we were I would of been suspended or lost my job.

Ordered our food and asked could they double check that the order was right as on our previous visit the order was missing 4 items, the girl at the window was apologetic and said she would put an extra item in due to the mistake, I said thank you and a man behind her who we could not see started shouting a torrent of abuse at her and us saying, it's their fault they she should've called us on the day and reported it, we did call the number but it's constantly engaged ...... any way bottom line, food was awful customer service dreadful and staff are rude and shouldn't be working in food outlets without the ability to be polite, surely giving out food through a window isn't difficult even for the dumbest of people!! ........ I wouldn't have give it a star but I had to!

Obviously you know what you are getting with the food but the drive through experience has definitely gone downhill in the last six months. In short it appears like being served by a group of delinquent young females who huff and puff and seem in such a hurry with your orders they input the wrong items. When you reach the drive through collection you can see them all having a chinwag. I even saw one late to the window as she was giving a goodbye kiss to her boyfriend in the car park. Where is the good management to sort out the basics of service here?

Have been coming to this KFC since it has opened on a regular basis. The standard of food and cleanliness has over a period of time declined. The staff do not seem motivated and can often be seen chatting to each other or playing with their mobile phones. On our last two visits the tables were not being cleared and customers were clearing a table themselves and putting their rubbish on other tables. One of the staff appeared from behind the serving area and changed one black bag in the rubbish bins and left the others one of which was full. She also totally ignored the rubbish on the tables. Suggest KFC changes the Manger at this outlet and get someone in to bring the standards back to what they were.

Visited restaurant on a quite Friday afternoon (26/6) approx 2pm. Only one other family there no one in drive through... Tables & floors had food on them, sauce smeared on tables plus it was very dirty there. I appreciate customers shouldn't treat place in this way but staff were standing around and made no attempt to clean up. We ordered food and decided to eat in our car as it was so bad there. The food was cold & chips had obviously sat around for a long time. Food went in bin will no longer go to Caerphilly KFC.. Avoid this place

When I went into KFC, there was vomit on the floor. There was a wet floor sign and it looked like water had been put over the vomit, but chunks of vomit had spead to a larger area. I ordered and ate my food (on the other side of the premises after wiping down the table and chair with a wet wipe as they were so dirty) and only when I finished was the vomit mopped up. The young lady who mopped it then took the mop and bucket and left it behind the glass fronted door to the food preparation area. It wasn't emptied. The lady then came back into the eating area and emptied the two overflowing bins into black bags and carried the rubbish through the food preparartion area/behind the prearation counter and into the kitchen. At least they had forks to eat the beans with - usually have run out of essentials. Will never go there again!

Never a fan of KFC but my good lady wife drags me there on occasion.This occasion we had cold fries and a mumbling server at the drive through.Box of popcorn chicken was so small its unreal. Spicy wrap had no real heat, just an initial burn of curry powder.Not good, but a damn site better than Blackwood in terms of cleanliness.Incidentally, they do not serve Phillipino food, so I don't know where that bit of erroneous information came from.

This KFC restaurant is dreadful, I've been there 5 times and every time they've got the order wrong. I thought it might just be a drive thru issue but nope, got it wrong in there as well! If you want a correct order, give this one a miss and go to the Nantgarw restaurant instead. Been three times now and never had a problem!

I always go to this KFC rather than nantgarw or Blackwood. the staff at the Caerphilly store are always polite and friendly. they are always willing to go the extra mile! the food is always tip top and my fries have always been fresh.

I love kfc it's my favourite fast food place cause i only eat chicken and mc donalds only do boring chicken burgers. I was so excited when I heard there was gonna be a kfc in caerphilly saves me driving to cardiff or ponty well till I tasted the food don't know what's wrong with this place I've been here about 15 times since it opened and maybe twice the order has been correct or warm it's not acceptable this is through the drive thru chips are always cold and u only get a handful I always order the wicked zinger tower meal and either they don't give me the spicy sauce or the hash brown or they put bacon in it instead beans are always over cooked staff just don't seem to care. I will not visit here again which is not easy as I love kfc but now I just go to mc donalds u always get warm chips there.

Some of the reviews on this KFC are ridiculous. I must say the staff at this establishment will always go above & beyond to ensure that our visit is an enjoyable one. The store is always clean & we often see the staff busying themselves cleaning.The food is what you expect from a KFC, it's as simple as that. Fast food chicken!!!

Staff are not focused and the drive through takes longer the parking the car and placing the order inside. There is no common sense to service here.

Was served by a shift runner with very short hair. I went around drive through to get food for myself and my partner. Ordered two large meals and due to having no large cups they gave me one medium cup and a small cup. The lady with short hair laughed and said sorry we haven't got any large cups. I thought that was absolutely terrible service. I asked for a bottle of pop instead! I expected to get what I paid for. Very rude.. when I said no I will have a bottle of pop. . She huffed and rudely passed me the bottle. She then slammed the drive through windows after she gave me my food, before I could even ask for sauce! Fuming. Although other staff are lovely. But this tall young short hair'd lady was very rude! A little tip shift runners should be polite ! And make sure that customers are satisfied. As an ex employee of KFC I was tempted to take this to head office! I would have never treated customers like that. Shame I didn't have the receipt to do her a bad survey!

I recently visited this KFC and was somewhat disappointed. I ordered 3 pieces of chicken and fries. The pieces were incredibly small and over-cooked and certainly not worth the money The meat was full of gristle and very sinewy. I have certainly had better meals in other KFC's elsewhere. The restaurant was relatively tidy but could be much cleaner, particularly the tables. I doubt that I will ever eat there again.

Terrible service, messy, never and serviettes, food cold, and always run out of items so don't expect to get what you order or wish to order. its like a nursery...Do KFC employ males????

Very disappointed got a take away for my two granddaughters of a children's mini fillet meal when we got home only one small fillet and a small portion of cold chips had to then cook them something to eat by the way only live four minutes away didn't have chance to go back and complain wont be going there for a long time.

Don't know how they manage it but there is something seriously wrong with the way they cook their original recipe chicken. Everything else is good to be fair, but the original chicken is the worst I've had from any KFC. The skin (best part) is soggy and not like it should be and they must use the smallest chickens known to man as they're always tiny pieces. Very disappointed in this branch although I keep the faith the rest I go to.

I go to KFC Caerphilly a lot with my partner, whenever we visit we tend to order on the drive thru because it's simple and fast. Our orders are correct and the staff are lovely to us. I have eaten inside the restaurant a few times and the decoration is nice and modern not like some others that could do with a revamp. My foods always hot and drinks are ice cold.

Ordered a 10 piece bucket, all wings and whatever else was included must have been a chicken on a diet because there was very little meat - very disappointed

The store is exceptionally clean and very welcoming. Always greeted with a friendly face and recieve hot and fresh food.

Called in with my Mum to pick up a wrap and chips and was served by a young lady who could definitely do with a few lessons in customer service and common sense. I ordered a wrap and chips, the wrap arrived and I said 'Sorry I asked for chips aswell please', to which the girl with brown hair replied 'no you didn't for chips', I double checked with my Mum if I'd asked for them and she said yes, the girl then went on to 'Well I could ask everyone here if you did ask for them but you didn't' - whether I did or didn't order them doesn't make any difference, anyone with any experience with customer service knows you don't even get into the debate, if the customer asks for chips, you just apologize and put them through. I won't be returning to the Caerphilly KFC and hope they sort out their staff sooner rather than later.

was very disappointed the tables and floor were in a mess bits of food every where but there was a lot of staff standing around. We had to clean a table for us to use and while we where there eating no one cleaned any tables and a lot of customers came in and seen this

It was my first trip into Caerphilly kfc as I have just moved to the area and I was very impressed friendly and helpful staff, good food and a clean place to eatthia store is a credit to kfc.

I loved the design of the restaurant and it looked fantastic. The food was hot and I was served quickly. I would definitely go there again.

My husband had a chicken burger- it was the only thing he had eaten all day, and he was very ill a few hours later. When i mentioned this to a few friends, they said that they knew some people who had eaten the same thing with the same results.

The service is shocking and the manners are even worse. This was my third visit and each time i have left appauled. Today was because the girl that served us didnt say please or thank you once. The last twice its been because they run out of the silliest things, like sugar. There is a tesco 2 mins away !!!

KFC was a regular visit for us, as the Crossways Brewers Fayre was not up to scratch. You get the usual swamping of staff as you do here in Uk but suprisingly they were all of the local school leaving aged girls? Completely different to what we are used to here! I can see that this is creating job oppatunities for school leavers which is good but there is also a huge need for an experienced manager to be present to be checking that orders have not been messed up whilst the girls are practising their dance routines behind the counter!!

Horrible food and service. Only ate here as was late from a visit to a hospital. Don't think this place should count as a restaurant.Does not use free range or even good barn chicken. Eat here and support battery farming and animal cruelty. Avoid st all costs. Also if you're the type of person who gives this to your child don't be surprised if they die by the age of fifty.

I know its only opened recently, but please,how can you get the orders so wrong! This is a large opperation and I've been to quite a few of the others and loved it, so why of why can't Caerphilly do it right?Stand in the que, place your order and pay for it, get given a receipt with your number on, wait again in another group, blocking people in their seats and wait for your number to be called, abit like Argos, and then collect your food, trot home to eat your Bargain bucket with the family only to find its got alsorts of chicken in it? hot wings, which the wife couldn't eat, chicken strips and any other chicken they could find, OK it was a Saturday and busy but come on.Try again, something simpler this time 2 Krushems, 1 Minstrels 1 Oreo, can't be hard, can it? Once again get home 1 is minty choc 1 is just Coc.OK last chance lets try the bargain bucket again, it was bound to be a mistake, a one off, wasn't it? Nope it wasn't, same again alsorts of everything ranging from a chicken wing ( classed as one piece) to a chicken breast (classed as one piece) hot wings and all inbetween. It just felt like "that will do, next" all in all if I want a KFC now, I'll drive a distance to go to another one that can get it right.Very disapointed with you Caerpilly KFC you're letting the side down.
