KFC in Mansfield

Way better now. Meals are well done and normal size. Not burn. Not raw. Now everything is delicious!!!! As it should be. Even mini filets are bigger. Good job!

Just paid £21.99 and collected a 10 piece FAMILY VARIETY takeaway bucket and how disappointed are we. If we had eaten inside store I’m sure they would not have served such rubbish. Apart from a bag of fries missing there are no arguments in this house about who wants which piece of chicken!!!we have 2 scraggy pieces of chicken and 8 drum sticks to choose from. A pity we live so far away or I would’ve taken back!…. And to top it off had to pay with cash as card machine is down and short changed by a penny because they’ve run out of pennies LOL, HA HA! Next time we fancy KFC, we’ll remember this and go elsewhere!!!!!!

Daughter ordered on line with just eat £40 worth said order dispatched then order around corner then delivered! Still waiting! Rang KFC nothing to do with them take it up with Just Eat will never use either ever again terrible customer service not interested stay clear you have been warned!!!!

We decided to go to KFC as I like the chicken pieces and my wife likes the salad. That said the meals are a bit expensive compared to other fast food restaurants. Also on this visit the choice of non-fizzy drinks was poor and so my wife was not happy. We are both not keen on the chips and as such I doubt if we will be back for sometime. Overall, KFC is more expensive than another burger restaurant that is very close and I love a big mac.

This is the place to go if you want cold fries and surly service. The wrap and the spicy chicken burger tasted fine but was spoilt be cold fries, a less that good customer service and somewhere that doesn't deserve a single star. I have eaten at KFC at many different location around the world however I am sorry to say that my local one is the worst!

The reviews do not do this place justice. If you like buckets of spite filled with burned rat bones covered in what I assume are salty scabs, and chips so tragic you question whether any potatoes were even seen when making them, this is the place for you. Want to convert your friends/family to a vegan diet, bring them here, once they stop hugging the toilet and praying to all the gods they can think of, they'll be straight to Tesco to buy all the Quorn they can carry. Honestly lads, close. Child labour is morally wrong anyway, do everyone a sterling and cease to exist. None of you should be allowed near a kitchen again, unless it's to cook for Tory MP's, who deserve to suffer. The colonel is probably glad he's dead, given what you've created here.

Ordered online 14 family bucket contained 12 legs and 2 small overcooked pieces of breast Very poor Told my order was correct yet had extra popcorn chicken missing Supposed to be 4 dips with 8 piece boneless bucket when got home contained none really frustrating

The worst kfc I have ever had only ordered an 8 piece bucket so nothing complicated the chicken was not even edible it looked like it had been cooked in dirty oil and been stood for hours, chucked it In the bin when I got home absolutely terrible defo won’t be going there again, plus I was given over £8 of change from a £10 note in 20p’s claiming they didn’t have any other change

Wow and I mean WOW!! Absolutely ridiculous 1 hour wait to get food from ordering at the till! People were cancelling orders. ok if this a one off but it isn’t, this is the second time we’ve had this issue. This branch seems to have some major issues KFC should be ashamed of this level of service I’ve also emailed them directly.

Put simply this is a shocking KFC. I ordered simply a 3 piece meal. The chicken was luke warm at best and all dried up. I'm annoyed at myself for not complaining as I really should have done. It was 4pm on a Saturday afternoon and it was practically empty yet the tables were unclean and the floor needed sweeping. Basically a thoroughly depressing experience. I would hope that my experience was a one off - although looking at other reviews it appears maybe not.

You may have to pay more than you expected. Regularly the Drive-Thru does allegedly not have pennies or two pences and can’t give correct change for a cash order.

Visited Tuesday night,ordered 3 piece meal,coke was flat only 1/2 filled bag of chips (counted 12 in total all less than an inch long)!!! Chicken was dry. On the positive I was served quickly!!

Abysmal. Worst visit to KFC I've ever experienced. On entering, the self serve devices, none worked. All showed an error showing "No receipt roll. Connecting" -- all four devices were in the same, none working, state. I visited the facilities during my time here, they were disgusting - the best part about the toilets is the floor was recently cleaned. There was D10 cleaning spray left, the urinal was clingfilmed off, full of clody yellow urine -- not what you want to see in a dining experience. The restaurant itself wasn't too bad but, the staff serving are also talking to people on the drive through, explaining how nothing is available -- you can see the frustration on the drivers face.Our order was delivered mainly incorrect but came with loads of extra hot wings. Really poor experience, won't be visiting again.

Always forgetting items, despite using driver through, collection or delivery services. Food is always cold, shrivelled up or just not edible! Struggle to even give a 1/10!

Order placed via drove thru, asked to wait in carpark for order ( not of significant size: 2 adults / 2 children) 20 mins sat waiting, cars parked after us were receiving their orders, asked staff member about ours, he went in to check, didn't return. Had to go in to restaurant, order handed over without any further communication, order checked - corn on the cobs had been replaced by gravy, burger bun was burnt on the outside, spoke with staff member who had the poorest attitude, shrugged her shoulders, rolled eye balls - manager requested who apologised, informed me the bun had been in a toaster because grill was broken, order replaced with the corn on the cobs initially ordered because they were avaliable and she had no idea why we didn't get them in the first order!! Just a horrendous experience, I would gladly drove the extra distance to go to the store across town to avoid this place!!!

Ordered at 8:45 really simple order, boneless banquet, coke, coleslaw and 4 mini fillets and missed half of it out, as me and my partner went in to explain and ask for the rest of my order, Someone else was kicking off over the fact half their order was not only missing but the half she did has was completely incorrect.

Not sure if this is all because of food shortages but whatever I just ate was disgusting. Ordered a zinger fillet burger meal. No spices in the batter which was soggy and the chicken was weird, no zinger sauce really disappointed

I finished work and fancied a kfc, arrived at drive thru at 10:30pm close at 11pm, got told we’re closed. Absolutely disgusting and I only wanted mini fillets and fries so nothing to demanding either.

Just used KFC via just eat, all I can say is disgraceful the food was delivered and the chicken was overcooked and salty, the fries were cold and my Zinger burger was thrown in the bin along with most of my other half’s chicken pieces....

Run by kids so expect poor service and little attention to detail. Now they are offering deliveries so expect to wait longer. Will be avoiding in future, if it didn’t have KFC above the door it would have gone out of business years ago.

Product is good Service is extremely slow and unguided No one seems to be in charge People standing around and not getting on with the job Cleaning is not up to scratch by a long way. All this goes back to kfc who are happy to collect the pay check every week regardless Mc Donald’s is next door

Went into the restaurant and was greeted by a happy girl with long brown hair . Anyways I ordered a boneless feast and I couldn’t fault it , it was absolutely stunning ... filled my belly and it wasn’t bad priced!! 😀

Firstly one person serving is a big mistake, we were served quickly but the queue just got longer and longer. Must have been 20 in the queue before i assume the manager appeared and the 6 from the drive thru decided to help.We had one of the bucket meals, the chicken was fine but the boneless pieces were inedible. It was as if someone had thrown an extra hand full of salt into the coating. It was terrible, but with a massive queue we could not wait in the queue to complain.KFC must be saving thousands of pounds at each outlet by swapping to the new "bigger tastier chips" -- you get about half the chips you use to get and that was never a lot !!

Went in DRIVE THOUGH there were children bits all over work tops papers on floor chips all over work top. They had no ashbrowns. I asked for a rice box when they gave it to me I ask if it was in a different box as it did not look right. She said it was the right one. I it usually comes in a long box she said they have none left so I said so you have run out then. The box they gave me was to big for the meal so they should of just said instead of lying. I had a mouth full and put rest in bin as rice was cold. Who ever runs that place needs sacking if they are not doing there jod right then the works are not it is disgusting

Order was taken quickly, short wait for food which was all freshly cooked and very tasty, plenty of seating, restaurant itself looked clean and plenty of parking.

Went to drive thru ..do u EVER take card payments ? and dont whatever you do when u finally get to the payment window look at the state of the floor ..YIKES ! seems the obvious reason u have ran out of half the menu is because most of it is on the floor behind the counter !

Half of the menu is unavailable due to lack of resources and broken machinery; had no large cups, no signature Krushems, no rice boxes, nothing. The prices are extortionate for how limited your choices as a customer are. The staff makes no effort to remove gangs of delinquent youth that loiter within the restaurant and even outside in the car park which makes the atmosphere rather intimidating and unfriendly. One of the worst KFC branches I have ever had the "pleasure" of visiting.

was there last night around 5pm ish,not one person came to serve me,no eye to eye contact,young people with hoodies on carrying can of drink behind counter,totally in professional,ordered,was waiting 15 minutes,before being told it would be another 10 mins,everyone was waiting,very disturbing,how on earth a francisee can allow an outlet to perform in this way in astonishing,let alone KFC allowing one of there outlets to non perform this way,

The staff were incredibly rude, I would never speak to someone in such a way. When you work with the general public you’ve got to at least pretend that you don’t hate everyone around you and put your fake customer service smile on. After I got my order I found that it was not correct and was missing the chips, when I went back round the drive through the server looked at me with disgust cause I was asking for some chips she had forgot. Would seriously recommend that you go to the one on old mill lane over this one.

Very long queue of people, lots of staff but no progress! Ordered food, not the best customer service, food arrived on a tray which was covered in orange grease, only had a twister and fries each! Dirty restaurant as all KFC's seem to be, food was nice however overall visit wasn't great!

Terrible service had take out when I got home only had 7 pieces of chicken when I paid for 10 chips where cold waited 10 minits which inthat time the 2 krushems we bought had melted won’t be visiting again

This over-staffed KFC is 100% focussed on providing slow service to a world-class standard, and there's a side helping of attitude thrown in for good measure too. Oh, and they might get your order wrong. Unbelievable.

I feel that the mansfield store is better service and food quality then the forest town one close by. I have no quarrels. Food came as requested, the remembered utensils, sauces etc. No issues. Usual great kfc taste.

Visitado KFC, Mansfield, Nottingham hoy. En el camino de vuelta, desde recoger algunos muebles. Sólo había un puñado de comensales. Nos sirvieron realmente rápido. Había 3 personal, detrás del mostrador. Todas las mesas vacías eran inmundas. Como no había cola, en absoluto. No hay excusa para mesas sucias, ya que había un montón de personal y un montón de tiempo, ir mesa de borrado. . . No tardaron en hacer! !

The staff just seem to have little interest in anything and the food often just tastes a little bit re heated from past orders, bit sometimes it's better.

my heading sums up my feeling towards KFC vastly overpriced for rubbish much better getting a BBQ chicken from local supermarkets at least there will be some meat

Visitado KFC en Nottingham Road, Mansfield, Nottinghamshire. Estuve con mis dos hijos. Después de una larga espera y un montón de frenético venidas de detrás del mostrador, conseguimos nuestro cubo. El restaurante no estaba lleno, pero unos cuantos tutoriales en coche. Claramente no daban abasto. Este no es sorprendente para ha sido el mismo desde que puedo recordar, KFC ha sido atendido con gente muy joven sin signos de ningún administrador senior en el lugar.

Deliciosa comida sabrosa como siempre e incluso nos dejaron usar nuestro vale! Gran relación calidad-precio y la calidad y cantidad de comida.

I've been to all the KFC's in Mansfield and Sutton and this one is by far the best. You can collect and redeem your colonel club points here (unlike Mansfield) the food is cooked to perfection, staff are friendly and well mannered, plenty of dining area inside or parking outside.

treated the kids before xmas 2015, arrived to find literally half the menu not in use as broken equipment or run out of food. dirty restaurant and tables not cleaned and not even cleared down . food was poor and along with the general standard of the place made it a horrible experience

Visited here a few times, not sure why we subjected ourselves to the repeat visits.Nevertheless sometimes you just crave the greasy chicken goodness!The place is at best, disorganised. Chaos seems to take over most of the time. Staff are clueless about offers, sadly this has become the norm at KFC.The place is close to the odeon, which is handy & a short walk from the town centre.You get a fair few college students in from the nearby college.Let's not forget KFC isn't the cheapest takeaway either.Food is okay, the only thing stopping it getting a 1 is that!Service needs improvement; not sure that the establishment is bothered about this though.

given some of the reviews here I was really dreading visiting. My elderly father has been unwell and not eating, but he fancied KFC chicken so I ventured out. Previous visits to the Mansfield branch have been extremely poor, so decided to try the Forest Town one, despite the reviews on here (surely it can't be worse than the Mansfield one!)have to say I was pleasantly surprised, it took less than two minutes from pulling into the drive through, to getting food and leaving, first hurdle overcome easily, with smiley staff too and a great pricethe food itself was ok, the chicken was really good, though the covering of the kfc spices over the chicken could have been a little thicker, and the fries were the only let down, being quite soggy, still edible thoughoverall, not bad and I will return

Went through the drive through tonight 24/01 waited 20 minutes to be served. There were only 3 cars in front but it took 20mins to serve them. Finally got to the window to order food and was served by a young girl who could not smile and clearly had attitude and wore foundation that thick there was a make up line round her face. I think if she had smiled it would have cracked and fallen in the food. I commented to her and another female who presented me with my food that I had been waiting 20 min and that service was slow...They both stood there with vacant expressions and said nothing. Will never go there again.Just awful.

Poor slow service, staff with attitudes. Unhygienic and overall just poor.Only one member of staff serving at such a busy time, everyone else hiding in the background. Witnessed a female member of staff take her hair straighteners and hair brush which was caked in hair right into the are where all the cooking was going on and she had an attitude to go with it.Really greasy chicken the worst I've ever experienced.Toilets in a terrible state.

Very disappointing, the prices are over the top for what you get. Many of the counter staff have the wrong attitude, This is not just a one off it seems to be the norm. The company management need to get it sorted as many local people will use once and the give it a miss.

Took our daughter as a treat and have to say for a major brand in a prime location the place is shocking! The restaurant has clearly been refitted in the not too distant past. However, when ordering food we had to wait, albeit the place wasn't busy at all, looking over the counter at overflowing bins, food waste on the floor and unclean surfaces I was shocked. We had to wait for food, when looking for a table it was hard to find a table that was clean, the chairs and tables that didn't have debris all over them were covered in greasy marks. The toilets were out of order too not good when you have a five year old desperate for the loo. When I asked the team member about wiping the table she just grunted and walked off. The place was clearly not being managed. On leaving I noted full bins, and waste food were cars has been parked. Let's say we won't be back. Come KFC you can do better! Disappointed!

As I work local on my lunch break its a handy place to go. Only when you get there you have to wait 5 mins to be served yet the staff are al talking at the back of the store. Then 10 mins for food. I only get 30 mins dinner. Once the food arrived it was wrong and cold. To little time to correct the mistake. Won't be going again.

Only problem is they harvest the very young chickens too early. I would prefer them to have more meat and to live a longer life. The coating is what makes the meal or one would be better buying a normal cooked chicken.

Takeaway order. Got home only to find not just one part missing, (popcorn chicken) but also an on-the-bone piece missing (ordered 4 received 3). No telephone number to call restaurant, so called the number off the website. Robotic voice telling me my call was important and to continue holding. After ten minutes of hearing how important my call was, hung up. The 12 piece boneless box came with 11 decent sized pieces and 1 shriveled up lump of breadcrumbs. And if I'm being really picky, most of it tasted rather dry unlike the usual succulent chicken that we're used to. Very disappointing.

This KFC has been done up inside and is rather nice, however the air-conditioned was not switched on and it was very hot. There were plenty of staff working and yet they all were stood around chatting and doing not much else. There was not a large que but we were waiting rather along time, the food was not at expected, dry and tepid in heat. My friend whom I was dining with said when he left school he was told in an interview, at this specific branch, he would have to smile if working at KFC. This being several years ago it is obvious it is no longer the case.

Turned up at one o clock in the morning needing chicken nuggets after a family party yummy, I wasn't the driver that was lucky cos a lot of alcohol involved and you always need some drive through late at night I love it .

Just visited here for the first time, as we havent lived in the area long, wont be visiting again! We have a takeaway every friday as a treat cause we work hard all week. Tonight was no treat! Ordered 4 burgers, got three, no salt, no wipes, no serviettes, no extra popcorn chicken, 3 mini fillets instead of 4 chicken strips. Phoned the store, must admit they were apologetic n offered my missing food plus 20% off my next order, i was happy with that...... until i heard a girl say in the background " i didnt forget anything!" So im a liar now am i? Right , you know what you can do with your 20% cause i definitely will not be returning! Happy friday!

Kfc Mansfield is a bad place to eat. Not only is the sides re dated so the lazy employees don't have to make more, customer service is disgusting. It is run by managers who look as if they've only just left school, never mind the team members. The toilets are vile and Are not hygienic. I had to wait over 20 minutes for my order and it was cold when received. Bad fast food store.

Called in to feed the family as the day was getting on. Not been my favourite take away in the past but excelled all my expectations. We were picking up to take home but didn't use the drive thru as everyone was unsure of what they wanted. Nice young man served us. Polite and helpful waited patiently as we dilliberated over the new menu that looked really appetising instead of just deep fried chicken in different combinations there were salads, burritos, pulled chicken wraps all sorts of things. I had a lovely salad with pitta bread. The decor was fresh, new and clean as were the toilets. We will call again. Thank you to the staff for your service.

Used to come here occasionally during lunch while at university, they have recently done it up and it's much cleaner. They also do student discount.

We went through the drivethru for our meal. The lady on the microphone was quite rude. She was very impatient and didn't listen to what I was saying. It was well priced but the meal itself wasn't great. The chips were cold but the chicken did seem fresh. Don't think we will return in a hurry!

Ordered our meals but to be fair to the guy who was serving he didn't look like he knew what day it was and he got the order wrong. Also got the drinks wrong too. It took nearly 10 mins for any sign of meal and then it wasn't right. We just decided to take it anyway as was fed up of moaning .. Drink had no ice in and the meal felt like it was just warmed up and had been there for few hours . Service was pretty naff when we complained too.

Maybe if the kfc in both mansfield and forest town were not permanently recruiting (Which is clearly the case from the advertising for staff printed into the windows since they opened) just so they can get rid of them all at the end of the probation and get new trainees in order to not pay anyone the raised wage then the restaurants would have some trained staff who can give good service, unlike the 10 minutes it took for me to get a popcorn chicken box just for the chips to come out cold and tasting like cardboard, paired with a krushem (the milkshakes with the large chunks of oreo or whichever one you order) which I was given a normal small drinks straw with which 1) wasn't big enough to drink the chunks and 2) wasn't big enough to reach the bottom of the cup so fell into the drink... Which I would guess is why they make larger straws especially for them drinks. Yeah... I won't visit any kfc again

I say second worst only because the worst one we had some years ago made us ill! I wish I'd read the reviews on here before deciding to order. When my husband arrived there was chaos. Not enough chicken ready and people demanding refunds as they'd waited up to half an hour for food. When we did get to eat, some of the chicken was OK - the shortage at least meant it was freshly cooked. However, the rest was cold and greasy as were the limp fries. Not a place we will be returning to! If I'd known I'd have gone into the nearby Sainsburys and bought some chilled chicken pieces. I could have cooked them better myself in the time it took!

Hi sent my son in to get a takeway as I wasn't feeling well, we literally are not far from the premises, when he arrive back the order wasn't correct. chips were cold and also most of the chicken very upset so rang them up , The young lady asked what we had said sorry, but we could have the meal again which really didn't want another, would have rather the money back but she said only have money back if we bring back what we had to eat this was in the Norwich branch.

If KFC HQ are reading this, you really need to visit, shake your head in shame and finally shut down this franchise and start again!!! The drive thru speak is old and dilapidated, you speak and either the person can't hear you or sometimes you can't hear the person speak. Drive thru card machine doesn't work.... "cash only please" is what you get when you drive up to the old speaker. It's been like this for over 1 month!! When it rains, the gutters leak when it really rains, the road from the speaker to the window floods. The staff inside are all trainees with no competent trained staff at the helm to sort them out. I went the other day and ordered zinger box meal. The girl looked at the despatch lanes puzzled and confused. In the end I the customer had to tell her what to put in the box. Service would have been better if it was self serve!! Restaurant seating area is in dire need of upgrade.

Fast food, it doesn't excel your expectations, it provides tasty food..fast. Rarely are the fries hot. Staff are friendly, new restaurant layout is aesthetically pleasing.

I'm not a massive fan of KFC anywhere anyhow, but have had enough to know that this was terrible.I won't waste my time with any detail - But anyhow. The 'food' was cold, bland & tasteless. Even the chips were vile. Next time my my gf wants something artificial but chicken flavoured. I'll go to Farmfoods & cook myself. At least that way it'll be at a decent temperature.

the food was terrible, never had such a bad KFC.the fries were like chewing cardboard. the bbq beans just coloured water with hard beans. nothing like they used to be.the chicken was so small.never again!

I enjoy KFC and called at this one last week with the kids. It seemed to come as a surprise to the staff (who to give them their due we're friendly) that I ordered chicken, as they said it would take some time to cook. Waited ages and was at the point of asking for my money back when they finally completed the order. Best to take a book to read while you wait if your planing a visit.

We used to use this KFC a lot as it was fairly close to where we live but it has gone dramatically down hill in the last 5 months or so. The problems start as soon as you pull up to the drive thru speaker, you relay your order to the person on the other end and most of the time they can't hear you properly so you end up repeating yourself several times. Next we don't like the top thigh piece as its fatty and gross so we try (and trust Me try is the word here) to ask for no top thigh unfortunately no one seems to know what the parts of the chicken are called so you end up with a clueless silence on the other end if the speaker, only one of the staff is halfway normal, he is very friendly and polite but even he doesn't know what is going on.The inside of the "restaurant" is an actual pig stay it's grimy, smelly, and the atmosphere is more what you would expect from a side street dive than a popular family food chain and it seems the soulless robots behind the counter are just passing the time doing the least amount possible before they clock-off.I think this place needs closing down, a major refurbishment, get rid of the petulant ones (nearly all the staff) and start afresh, maybe then it'll re-attract a lot of the custom it's lost ours included.

I live within a short car journey from this KFC and over time been in several times. Last time was yesterday 15/4/14 the service was very slow I didn,t get what I ordered and the place is filthy. Their was empty tables with food on them and half a dozen young girls behind the counter staring into space, it was clearly obvious no one working their wanted to be working in that establishment. Everytime I,ve gone here I,ve had a bad experience I certainly wont be going back to this particular KFC

We use this KFC on occasions but we prefer to travel to the KFC in Forest Town.The staff are mostly friendly but the food tends to be on the cold side. One time I tried to order corn on the cob as a side and was told they had none. My brother then ordered after me and he managed to get some corn. Whenever we do use this branch, we always use the drive thru as the inside does not look the cleanest. The order thing at the drive thru is of bad quality and you cannot hear the operator clearly.

At the drive though I had to wait while the team leader finished complaining with another staff member about being too busy! And then given the drinks and told to park up while the wraps were cooked. I noticed the drinks were only half filed and one had even less than half in. I asked the drinks to be topped up and was told that they are not allowed to top up as The ice machine was broken. I asked again and the team leader asked another member of staff of she was allowed to top up the drinks and she was told to top them up. This is terrible practice so if I don't want ice then I only get half a cup!
