KFC in Gwynedd

What sort of kfc restaurant has no chicken for sale for two hours. When i asked to order got told there was no chicken fillet and they were frozen what aort of place is this ! Absolute joke might as well close down awful place to visit !!!!

This place is an absolute joke. If you want quick food I wouldn't advise here... waited over an hour for food tonight while watching cars come and go through the drive through absolutely ridiculous how they priorities drive through customers . Their was some people waiting for 1hr 30 with kids and nobody was told there was a long waiting time..

What a joke, we ordered a family bucket and when we got to open the bag it was not what we asked for. Family bucket was suppose to have 4 portion chips and 6 pieces of chicken. WELL, we had 2 spice wings (cold) a burger, which we could not identify what it was, a carton of beans, and 2 portion chips. How can a chicken fast food joint, not have any chicken !!!!!!! We did not ask for anything spectacular just basic chicken pieces and fries. TOTAL DISGRACE. We are of the view we had been given what was lying around at the time. KFC you are a JOKE!!!!! Please take note- keep well away.

An absolute joke. We placed an order for a sharing bucket and waited 20 minutes watching other customers come in after us and get served with their food. When we enquiried how much longer it would be, we were told ANOTHER 30 minutes as they didn't have enough chicken to fulfil our order. They would have, had they not served all those coming in after us and prioritising the drive through customers. What's worse is the way they handled the situation when we complained and asked for a refund. Clearly couldn't care less. I asked the barely out of school lad if I could speak to the manager and he said there wasn't one. This is not the first time we've experienced very slow and poor service. Won't be going back any time soon. Its not all the employee's fault, they're all very young and clearly don't have the training to deal with a "rush" of 5 customers in an hour. (his words)

Went for a family take away meal. Arrived home and realised that they forgot all the side orders! Spent 40 quid and no sides. I would reccomend all customers to check orders/bags before departing the restaurant. Obviously can't cope with the demand during busy periods.

Son on nights woke up fancied kfc ordered boneless banquet beans for side and Pepsi and extra corn on cob. Husband fancied zinger burger. Had no beans and no corn on cob and husbands zinger burger had no lettuce this ws at 8.45 pm son never ate it said not the same without beans. Absolutely ridiculous no beans no corn on the cob and no lettuce on zinger burger and its not cheap either. Very Very disappointed 😞

Dropped by for some takeaway lunch. Ordered a box meal and waited and waited and waited and waited….. nearly 40 minutes. And by the time I received my order it was only warm. I paid £10.98 and when I opened the box up it looked TERRIBLE and I should have gone to McDonald’s or Burger King. Whilst stood there a customer complained about missing items in her sons meal and another one asking how much longer would their meal be again. One asked for a refund as they weren’t willing to wait any longer and if I had to wait another 5 minutes I would have done the same. I think in future, they should inform customers how long of a wait is there on the food. But I will never visit this establishment again.

We visited KFC in Bangor and saw many people waiting. We ordered our food and after been sitting there for 35 minutes someone told us that the gravy wasn’t ready. We waited a bit longer and our food was ready, after an hour we had the order. When i opened my box the chips and the popcorn were cold and when my partner went up to the counter and the drink weren’t even ready. Awful customer service and will NOT recommend eating there.

The service was fine. The chicken was lovely but the chips were AWFUL… cold and tasteless. My friend actually buys chicken in KFC then goes to another fast food establishment to get the chips!! Please improve the chips!! Nice thin hot chips would be lovely

I was surprised at the recent negative reviews about this kfc. That is not our experience. We have stopped twice recently on our way to Abersoch and have met very friendly staff and all the chicken and food was fresh and piping hot. Disappointed there are no hot drinks but that seems to be kfc policy which sounds barmy to me and certainly puts us off a bit.

We arrived as a family of 6 and went to eat in, ordered on the self-serving screen couldnt find one item which I wanted so payed for that and headed to the counter. I asked for the item which I couldn't find after a few minutes I said to the man behind the till could I order this item please, and he replied there is customers waiting already, however I was there talking to him before the customers arrived. After he served them I did my order and the other customer brought over my order as it was just sitting on the counter and no one called to say it was ready. Apart of the order was a 6 piece family feast and we got 5 drumsticks within the same bucket which none of the party eat, my husband went to the till to ask why we had so many drumstick pieces as we have had this bucket on many occasions and there is normally only one or two drumsticks which is normally ok, he was then given a small piece of chicken in the box. The store wasn't busy, tables were dirty and staff were standing around talking to each other. Staff had no customers service skills, and seemed like they had no time for us. On a positive the food was really good.

Very disappointing visit. Cold products, flavourless, inconsistent with some dry and chewy and the rest excessively greasy. Unfortunate as it was the same last time, and we gave it another opportunity tonight. So bad, that becoming a vegetarian wouldn't be off the cards if this was the option every time.

I know most of the reviews are saying that this place is really bad but i think it has improved a lot. We went in when it wasn't busy and the staff were extremely polite and very chatty. Our order came very fast and everything was fine, except that the chips were cold. We mentioned this to the staff and they sorted us out right away with new, hot chips and two free cookies to apologise for it! The staff member who served us, Abigail, a student, was really friendly and helpful. All the tables and the floor were clean. Overall, it was a great experience and would definitely go again if I were in the area.

Not had a KFC in ages since they closed their Caernarfon branch - thoroughly dissapointed ! The chips had a strange smell like they had been sterilised but before that whilst waiting for the order i popped to the wc and came back and my order had dissapeared from the screen and they were in the process of giving my order to someone else - don't miss them as much anymore !

STILL NO COFFEE OR TEA SERVED at any of KFC outlets. I like another reviewer said am not a child I'm 70 and I want a hot drink with my meal. Do they think old people don't eat kfc? We were the customers of their past. They say its supply problems, no other fast food outlets have problems. Second gripe take out food, get home order wrong! Third gripe, portions are much smaller, popcorn chicken is smaller. Finally car park in New outlet no bigger than a postage stamp, I don't think we'll be going again, not when Mcdonald's is just down the road and certainly not until I hear they're selling hot drinks!!!

This is a review of the new Bangor outlet on Caernarfon Road. However, my first point relates to all branches - no hot drinks! I'm not a child, I want coffee with a meal. The server said they hadn't got coffee 'at the moment' , implying that it was just temporary. I've looked online at the standard menu and there are no hot drinks. The fried chicken was at least hot but it was greasy. And the portions are smaller than in the past. The fries were a tiny portion, lukewarm and the consistency of cardboard. The chicken on the tower burger was very dark brown, overcooked and dry. The burger itself was cold. Ah well, I've always enjoyed the occasional KFC but at least I'll never pine for one again. That should help the diet. Take my advice and visit nearby Harvey's where they serve a great choice of quality food, hot drinks, even alcohol. The customer service is excellent and the premises are great, and spotlessly clean.

Went in here to grab a quick bite to eat around 6:30pm as the bakeries and chip shops were closed. We only ordered 'large chips' but what an embarrassment that was. They were far from large they were less than a handful, rubbish chips. Wont be going there again. Very slow service as well

I was more than somewhat shocked when the supervisor told the lady serving that she was not allowed to speak to us in our own language in our own country. Such colonialism is out of place in a mere fast food joint and there are plenty more place in Bangor wherer the locaqls can be trearted with respect and subject to the supervisor's inadequacies.

Dont waste your time here. Check your order first. Forgotten half of my chicken, staff far more interested in talking to one another than serve. I should’ve bought food in Asda rather than change my mind and choosing KFC! Don’t waste your time and money going there. Staff are renowned for being shocking.... long may it continue!

Tjere is nothing like a KFC after being on the beer in Bangor. Its the perfect end of the day. Always habe the bargain bucket with gravy. Love it.

Decided to pop in for a quick lunch with the kids. The service was terrible staff rude. The usual basic cutlery salt and the other free extras including napkins were not available without requesting them and then you only got one or two of each not enough for my family of four. The staff seemed clueless. The place was filthy old food on the floor it was a slipping hazard someone spilt yogurt and no one bothered to clean it up for the duration of our stay around 20mins. There was a cleaner walking around with a dustpan and brush but he didn't use it he picked a small amount of litter off a table then proceed to walk into the food service and preparation area without washing his hands. The food was just edible, dry bread for burgers.

The staff was friendly and the service was quick. The food tasted really nice. The only negative point is that there were very little seats as this KFC is quite small, other than that: great!

I visit KFC often and this is the worst it's ever been, I found 2 hairs in my food and when I went to make a complaint I was told rudely there was nothing they could do about it because I didn't take my food up to the counter with a hair in it!

If I could give this KFC less than one star I would! Although a KFC is a KFC wherever you go, this one has poor service, is unkempt and bins are rarely emptied. If ever I wanted fast food (and sadly KFC is my favourite) i would go to Burger King, which is at least clean or Macdonalds which has just been upgraded.

Myself and husband went here for food yesterday and while the food is always hit and miss it was quite nice. The only thing is you can't eat it without the cleaning spraying cleaning products and constantly clearing your table and trying to wipe it when you're still sitting there. For gods sake let people eat in peace. I'm well aware he has a job to do but come on. It's only a small restaurant. We had purposely sat in a small corner in the hope of avoiding this issue but no still there spraying the floor while you eat

I ordered a mini-fillet, paid the staff member with cash. He took the change and then went straight into the back to make my order, no gloves, no alcohol rub and definitely no washing of hands going on. Keep noticing that loads of people are leaving bad reviews for no discernable reason. The service is really good and probably the quickest I've seen in a KFC, the food is exactly as you expect it to be and although it's quite small, most of the people seem to take away so there's usually a table or two. Ultimately, it's a KFC not the Fat Duck, you aren't going to get miracles here but it does the job.

Been here many times as I live in the area... The food isn't too bad (gravy is yummy) but it's far too small, so going there at weekends are a nightmare as its so busy and not many tables!! Make it a bit bigger and it might be a bit better :)

my chips where cold after my been given some that was meant for somebody else but the girl couldn't find them they here left on the side and put in my bucket I told the bloke that put them in they better be hot or I will be complaining he just mutterd 'they have only been there to minutes ' well no they had been there a lot longer than that ... it ruined out food !

Went here with the kids for a "treat" on last night of holidays. Was greeted by a dirty floor and tables and no one else eating (so no excuse). Server was pleasant enough, and they did eventually clean, but food was overly greasy and "wet" and has actually put me off he place for a while now. Normally I use KFC regularly without any issue, but this one needs big changes.

Went here with my family, staff were poor, more interested in themselves, no sign of a manager of any sort. Next time will wait and go to Caernarfon, Deniece and Steve D, are a lot friendlier and go out there way to help

KFC is KFC but some outlets are better than others. Staff here are not very friendly, and the cleanliness of the tables and floor and toilets leaves a lot to be desired.I would suggest that the staff are sent to the Holyhead branch to see how to get it right.

The food from Bangor KFC is pretty standard (compared to other KFCs), which is the key to their success. I can quite easily feed a family of 4 with one of the family buckets, and we're always satisfied.

Typical KFC. Quite small premises but convinently placed in the city centre. Staff are all indian which is quite odd but they are efficent and quick which is a bonus. Toilets ars a let down though as theyre very small and cramped.

If you like raw chicken then this is the place for you! Raw chicken in the burger, gravy had a jelly texture, the batter on the wings looked liked corn flakes and the fries where soggy and tastless. If i could give this restaurant a zero then i would. I would probably enjoy eating out of a bin more than eating that crap!!

Dry chicken, lack of coating, cold chips, gravy that resembled water... Worst customer service I have ever seen and the filthiest KFC I have ever had the pleasure to dine in.Definitely worth the travel to Llandudno Junction for a decent meal.Absolutely disgusting!! Will never return.

for the last few weeks, me and my partner have gone here a few times on a Sunday evening. Like tonight, and whenever we do, the food has continuously been really cold, and the chips tastes like cooked cardboard!The only thing that's warm, is the beans, which you can tell have been warmed up many times.However, during the day, when we have gone there, the food has been served hot and the service has been good.Don't think we'll be going there during the evening again.

What A mistake we did it .......... we had a KFC On High street Bangor.First The Staff they does not know what they doing whom they serving and we order bucket of chicken and asking them some sauces and plate they say they don't have any plate and ask tomato ketchup they given 3 sachet of ketchup it's not enough for 3 people and ask again Again 3 napkin and 3 sachet of ketchup which show clearly the Staff need to be trained. After start eating we noticed chicken was greasy oily and unhygienic its just cant do it .chips was cold ,chicken pieces was cold .we can't have them at all so leave the KFC and Had a McDonalds.Never Ever will return this Place.

Food was nice boneless banquet but i asked for gravy and was told it was gravy but was given colesllaw and needed more staff.

Tables need cleaning, no 'wet floor' signs if floor is mopped, quite dangerous.Toilets need attention, bit stingy with their tomato sauce.Chips were ok I suppose.

I go to Bango KFC at least once a month and every time i go there i tell myself ''this is the last time I will go to KFC'' The staff are friendly but to be honest my dog has more intelligence, they constantly forget to put something in my bag and by the time I realize it is too late... why don't I go back and complain you ask? well I did once and I was told that I was a lier and that the order was correct. The reason I do continually go back is because I like the food it is lovely what's better than fried chicken.

My wife & I popped into this KFC one drizzly lunchtime. Seating area was tight and most empty tables had rubbish on them. Whatever happened to simple manners and customers discarding one's litter when they're finished?Anyway, our server was pleasant enough, we ordered what we fancied, we cleared the rubbish from a table, and sat in the window overlooking the gloomy High Street.Everything was cooked ok and after we had finished eating we shared the one lemon-scented hand wipe that was put on our tray. All in all, a pretty standard KFC visit then.

Horrible place, small seating area which is never cleaned, if I want to sit down you will have to clean the table yourselves, food is everywhere on the floor on the table it's a disgusting!! The food is fine, it's a chain, but the staff are always welcoming and chatty, especially the young men, which is impressive because I don't imagine it is the nicest job in the world.

the place is absolutely filthy. one member of staff was showing another something in the bin with her hands inside it then went to serve without washing her hands. there were flies everywhere. you could see how dirty the kitchen is from you were ordering and the tables were dirty dont go here :S

Kfc..didn't have the same facilities as the one in Caernarfon...the one Bangor was advertising krushems and kremeballs but were told on ordering that they "didn't have the facilities to do them"

What can I say about a KFC ? It's a KFC! Same as everywhere so I have to put average. Good staff are friendly and keep the place clean. What more can I say? I could add "Quite small seating / eating space!"

Okay its a very busy shop but still you should expect to sit on clean tables.i know some people are lazy and dont move their wrappers but surely staff should at least wipe the old bean juice off the tables and tidy up but didnt happen on my visit i had to do it myself when i arrived in the shop.food was at best acceptable so all in all cannot recomend ..

its a fast food international chain there is nothing to say except the premises are always dirty and untidy, but they have the best chicken fast food burgers.
