Having been to the Kervan Kitchen on many occasions. We visited tonight and once again Suzy who is the manager/hostess with the Mostess was absolutely fantastic and going above and beyond to make us feel very welcome, tending to all our needs and making us all feel like family. What a wonderful lady who makes us all want to continue to return regularly to the Kervan Kitchen, not to forget the floor staff and the chef’s specially Seyda and Chef Mehmet you always have massive respect in our family heart. Food was quite good, though the lobster was on the chewy side. A bit cheeky to add a service charge to the bill without specifying the % rate - my mental arithmetic made it a little over 11%. One minor thing that caught us out en route is that this restaurant is not in Brentwood, in spite of the title.

I had an exceptional dining experience at Kervan Kitchen in Doddinghurst. The food was truly outstanding, surpassing all expectations. The service was impeccable, and even with a baby in our party, we were catered to in a way that exceeded our desires. I must give a special mention to the staff, especially Adem, Seda, and, most importantly, Emrah. Their dedication and attentiveness made our visit unforgettable. I would give Kervan Kitchen a 100% rating without hesitation.

I reviewed the nearest restaurant to the kelvedon hatch campsite and read the reviews for this place. Encouraged by the reviews I went to eat. The reviews were not wrong; lovely spicy,tasty Turkish food. I only ordered Tara and a Kebab, but that was more than enough. Really healthy food. I recommend the restaurant and will return.

This was the first time we visited this restaurant, in Church Lane, Doddinghurst, Brentwood. We had read the reviews and were expecting to have a super evening. The restaurant was large and had many waiters. It was clean and the ambience was good. We ordered our meal, but the waiter did not write it down, nor did he repeat it to ensure he had remembered the order accurately. When the starter arrived, it was completely wrong, as there were 3 starters for the 2 of us. The waiter was willing to cancel the extra starter, but not the Manager, who debated with us and ultimately agreed to cancel it. When my main arrived it too was wrong. I had ordered a Mixed Kebab for £25 which included a Chicken skewer, a lamb skewer and Kofta. When the order arrived, I did not have the kofta on the plate. I had received a Kervan Kombination which was a lamb skewer and a chicken skewer for £21. I realised that they were trying to claw back £4 for the previously cancelled order, but our evening was already ruined by the Manager's attitude and I was not willing to have another conversation with her on this. We ate, paid the £46 bill which included the £25 for the dish we never received, and left. We will not be going there again, not because of the waiter's mistake, but because of the Manager's lack of integrity.

Amazing staff. Very attentive and great with the kids. Food and service was excellent. The lamb shank was perfectly cooked, so tender and fell off the bone. Lovely inside and they have a fab garden for better weather.

We went here for our brothers 30th... there was 24 of us... absolutely loved it here.... had a fantastic night... Food was amazing!!! Atmosphere was great too.... we love a dance and couldn't help getting up and having a dance which was great.... Next time we will book earlier to have a longer night there.... Great food served as large portions. I had the Kervan Kombination [SIC] with Chicken (3) and Lamb (3) served as 6 large pieces of tender meat, rice and a large salad. Although this was £21, which seemed a little expensive, the price was partly offset by the complimentary breads and dips whilst we were waiting. Staff were very attentive and friendly - each with their own clearly defined role. All in all, a nice atmosphere. Venue was large and can accommodate large parties, but as we ate on a Wednesday evening (early - 6:30pm) most guests were seated in one quarter of the restaurant. We didn't have starters or desserts, but from what we saw the desserts looked good value at £6-£7.

4th time back at the Brentwood Kervan and always get greeted with a smile at the front desk. All staff have always been welcoming and attentive Food is delicious and I have recently found out you can also get takeaways from here!

Of the seven staff who asked how my meal was,and when I replied, not warm enough,very small portion.All of there response was to do nothing It was all quite unbelievable.We felt so rushed,even the waitress without asking attempting to take my friends drink when she hadn’t finished. I visited this restaurant on Saturday 15/10 there were 12 of us. I have had a stomach operation and asked for a small portion or children's meal and they said said they could not do this, never had a problem before with other restaurants. Fantastic service, attentive and authentic. Tasty, flavoursome food. I has the chicken kebab and it was juicy and tender. Others had lamb and all was well presented and generously proportioned. The mint choc bombe was a massive hit! Definitely recommend!!

A wonderful Sunday Lunch on a surprisingly quiet Platinum Jubilee Sunday. A fabulous Mixed Grill and a lovely surprise dessert for 4 to share (see picture). Can't wait until we can eat outside and enjoy the fantastic, newly designed searing under the Willow Tree.
