Proper old working mens(and womens) club,the beer is good and inexpensive!

It was a lovely experience, I had a pint of the finest carling lager beer in a splendid glass

Good local venues for events, has a small stage and bar serving drinks. carpark at the rear.

Played a pool match there tonight. The regulars were outstanding. Lovely place, great prices for your drinks and it's nice to sit next to the river!

Stopped here for 10 mins for a cuppa and slice of cake during a 100 mile bike ride, whats not to like?

It's a bit small, not much choice in alcohol but the service was lovely

Lovely people, very pleasant guest house. The beach is to die for ,It's spotless at 0700 hours. The guest house has free pool table /darts /sky sports.
