This small stall is within the St John market, and in front of the stall, there are a few tables for dine in. There was no queue time for the table. Order at the counter and paid thrn serving within 5 minutes upon payment. Unfortunately, there were old men who were smoking within the premises. For food wise, toast with bacon and mushroom was outstanding. Roubded shape Bacon was delicious, with a bit salty and good balance of fat and meat portion. Mushroom was mediocre. 4 stars Soup of the day with pea and onion was delicious. Warm and great compliment with the toast. 3 stars A wonderful and full breakfast only costs below £7. Value for money.

Got a full large breakfast! The egg looked like it has been peeled off the side of an elephant’s leg! So hard and had a brown layer of skin on the bottom it was disgusting! The toast was black I mean black! Not to forget the food for the locals on the other table seem to get the royalty treatment. Used to be probs one of the best cafes in town but unfortunately it has gone awful never again will I step foot in there after paying almost £20 for mouth full of beans and half a sausage. Shameful

Decent service. Fun fact: In 1960; when my father was just 19, he had broken into 26 Slater Street a number of times and was reported in the local newspapers such as the Liverpool Echo. 26 Slater Street used to be called the Corinthian Coffee Club.

We ordered a giant cookie on the second of feb to be collected on the 17th feb giving plenty time for it to be made. The day before pick up I ran the branch and asked about the cookie to which the lady rudely replied she hadn’t got an order and that there was lots of staff so it had gone missing, she didn’t even think to ask what was my order and instead told me to ring back at 4:30pm as she was extremely busy. As this cookie was for an event I didn’t want to risk not getting it and with the employee not really listening and being rude on the phone I went down to speak to her to my Surprise (not) she was not busy instead on her phone with her headphones in I spoke about the issue with the missing order and showed her my receipt to which she replied (I believe you) well I’m glad she did as she took my order on the 2nd. She never apologised or even acknowledges her mistake instead was extremely rude. I’m sure this isn’t the time of person Millie’s wants as the front for there business because I will not be going back and I’m sure others will feel the same if they have to deal with the same rudeness and inconvenience.
