I am a frequent patron of Katana. I find the ambiance to be quite pleasant, and the staff is always very courteous and accommodating. Their sushi is truly exceptional. I particularly enjoy the steak. Went back in 18/10, amazing artmosphere & the food was amazing

The best, most professional, respectful, friendly, and helpful customer service you will ever receive and sensational quality food to match! The staff were extremely hospitable across the board. They made sure we were comfortable throughout. I never been on the receiving end of such polite, welcoming hosts. Special mention: Vikram, our server was particularly exceptional. We had doors opened and chairs pulled out for us. Everyone went above and beyond! The food arrived very promptly and was thoroughly pleasing. The cocktails were incredible; particularly the 'Japanese Slipper'. All the utensils were also meticulously clean, which is very important for me. Everything was top notch! This is the best restaurant I have ever been to, and I have been around! We will return, and I would highly recommend this place to everyone! 11/10!

Stay away!!! Tourist Trap We were here on Wednesday and ordered the Bottomless Sushi menu from the card. According to the description on the card (last page), this menu specifically includes unlimited sushi as well as WINE AND BEER on Wednesday evenings for £32.50 per person. After asking TWO waiters , we were assured that wine and beer were included. The bill said somerhing else, we were charged 45 GBP for 3 glasses of wine and 2 beers + 32,50 GBP per person for the sushi. When we complained about this, we were suddenly presented with a different menu that did not include drinks. Where did that come from all of a sudden? We had specifically confirmed with two waiters. We ordered the menu that was on the card, nothing else. Why should we pay for something we didn’t order? But this was blatantly ignored and we were told that they wouldn’t make a profit otherwise. Then why is it stated like that on the card? It’s about the principle here, guests are deliberately given false information and lied to. I definitely cannot recommend this restaurant!

Had dinner here celebrating anniversary. The staffs are lovely even though I saw the lady manager seemed tired that night. The food, I’m Indonesian and loves spices. I tried Rendang, which was too sweet for me. But the meat was good. Thank you. 🙏🏼

Nice enough restaurant, I was with a group of work colleagues and everyone seemed to enjoy their meals. Chicken Sizzle was good, I also enjoyed Duck Spring Rolls. Staff were very pleasant, welcoming and they seemed friendly and effective bringing out the orders.

My husband was given a voucher for his birthday and we went to experience the food and atmosphere. What a treat, the staff, especially our table chef and Gina were amazing. The food was delicious and reasonablely priced with help yourself starter's and main and dessert. This is an amazing venue and value for money.

Amazing atmosphere with such an amiable chef Suraaj who grilled the teppanyaki in front of us. The display of flames was incredible along with the egg-catching game, loved it what an incredible chef!!! Gina was also lovely and provided great service making us laugh and enjoy ourselves. There was a live violinist and singer during our birthday lunch too, perfecto!

We had the Tepenyaki lunch experience, it was really good value for money, we got lots of food. It's a set menu so you choose a starter, a meat for the main (or seafood or there are vegetarian options) and then that is served with egg fried rice and vegetables. The Tepenyaki chef Prabik was really entertaining and funny, and got us all involved. The food was delicious, I had chicken croquettes for starter and the lamb for main which was cooked beautifully in my choice of sauces. The mango cheesecake dessert was really delicious too. The waitress Mariana was really attentive and friendly and the manager/owner even came over at the end to make sure we had a good experience.

Visited recently to celebrate a friends surprise birthday, Gina and the team working were all incredible in facilitating my requests and pulled out all the stops. Friendly service, and the food was delicious as always, and all came in good time for the 13 of us eating. The restaurant have many vegan options and are very informative on dietary restrictions which is always very reassuring. Will definitely be back!

The food was exceptional—truly outstanding. However, given the restaurant's high profile, the staff could benefit from a bit more training. Drinks should be served to the entire party at once, rather than staggered, leaving some people waiting. The same applies to the food. My partner received his starter while I had to wait an additional five minutes for mine. For a place of this caliber, especially considering the prices, this kind of service issue shouldn’t occur. We also weren’t offered a dessert menu—no one even mentioned it. Even though we were interested, it was never proposed, so we ended up paying and leaving. It felt like a missed opportunity for the restaurant, and they likely lost out on some profit as a result.
