We booked a 2 hour slot with our family of teenagers. It was the only venue that allowed under 18s on a Thursday. Booking was easy and they even allowed us to come in a few minutes early. Everyone had a lot of fun and they had most of the songs we wanted. The room was a bit cramped for 7 people but it wasn’t too much of an issue. I would suggest they get a west end bundle of musical songs as we would have liked that!

Came here recently with friends for a karaoke session. Staff are all helpful and friendly, and the venue is really nice inside. Song selection can feel a little limited and the system is a bit clunky, but the experience was still good and we had a great time overall!

Such a fun evening! We came here after going to the Beer Festival in Olympia and it was a great way to continue the evening. The staff on the door/bar were great and very accommodating.

We were shown to our room and then a guy showed us how it worked and everything and then asked us if we wanted to order drinks and we ordered some (only the over 18 ordered alcohol) the rest got a virgin cocktail and diet cokes. He didn’t ask for ID or tell us that all of us needed Id and to be 18. Then he brought in the first drinks and after a bit a lady, who I think was the manager came in with the rest of the drinks and asked to see out ID and we all very happily complied but then she told us that we all had to be 18 and that the guy who took our order was new and got it wrong. She said we could keep the rest of the drinks but we had to press the bar button when we were finished with them. After a bit the guy came back and it was dark but he tried to take the rest of the drinks back, only 2 were actually finished, and then spilt the drink all over me and then smashed the glass. So we turned the light on and I left to get tissue and when I came back he was gone. We turned the light back off and it wasn’t until like 10 minutes before the end of our session i realised that there was glass still where I had been sitting. When we went to pay I asked if there was any way we could get refunded for the unfinished drink that he spilt on and maybe the jug that they just took that still had half the drink in it and the diet cokes we never got and they said no a proceeded to blame us for not all being over 18 even though no one said anything until after we received the drinks and there is nothing about this on their website. They said no and after arguing to a brick wall they only gave us a refund for the cokes. Overall the rudest customer service I’ve ever received and a total scam. We also met another group of girls who had also had an awful experience so it’s nice to see that we weren’t just being dramatic.

I love reading reviews before attending somewhere but I’m glad I didn’t read too much into these ones. It’s as if I went to a completely different place. This was the perfect spot for me and my girls. It was intimate, super fun and they had a great selection of songs. To add to that, the service was great. All staff were so welcoming and polite. However, a special thanks has to go out to Gianni and Rhys. They really came with good energy and make you want to return again and again. Lads you are amazing - Thank you!

Can’t say that i’m too impressed. Paid for 2 and a half hours but barely got that. the lady at the front desk spent about ten minutes doing admin before she let us into our room and then another 20 making drinks that we spent more than £50 on. when we asked if we would get our full time we were told that it was our fault and there was nothing they could do about it.

Nothing wrong with the karaoke place itself. Myself and my group of friends had a lovely time. However, when we were leaving, I tried to pay the bill but when I received the receipt, they charged me for the wrong room. I politely said that this was the wrong receipt, but the lady working there said that this is definitely what we ordered and tried to prove me wrong. When she worked out that she was wrong, she then rolled her eyes at me and yelled at me stating that I had told them the wrong room, which I didn't. This did put a real damper on the night. A real shame.

Outrageous service. They tried to charge us £72 for 3 tequila shots, when we challenged them they said they'd made a mistake and corrected the price to £16. Disgraceful attempt to exploit paying customers.

We booked as a group of 12 ladies for a Christmas night out on a Friday in December. We rung back in September and made the booking over the phone with a lady who promptly took our £190 to reserve our room! Yes - I kid you not £190 to hire a karaoke room for 2 hours!!!! The booking was made for 10pm-12pm.

We came as a group of friends with no booking. We came to have have a good time and we encountered ourselves with an extremely rude security guy. 10 mins before I called the Mayfair Karaoke box by accident thinking it was the one in soho ( same company ) to ask if there was any free boxes and I was told yes to come. So when we got to the soho one ( 22h30 on the 6th December 2019 ) the security guy started to act like a very immature person while I was explaining to him I just spoke to someone on the phone. Even thought we were in the wrong place, as a professional person working for this company he was disgracefully unhelpful and treating us like trash AND ON TOP OF THAT making snarky comments behind our backs. I always had a great time in that place but with a security guy like that just made me deeply upset. Thanks.

Don’t book via their really bad website My booking went through - but when I arrived it said my payment hadn’t gone through - waste of an afternoon

I’ve been visiting Karaoke Box regularly for the past couple of years and there was never a time I was disappointed. The karaoke itself is super fun and the songs up to date (with some International bangers too, for those expats in the UK), the staff is friendly and helpful and they have a good cocktail choice! You should definitely put it on your list of things to do at least once in your life in London! P.S. make sure you pre-book if you are thinking on visiting during the weekend as those guys get booked up pretty quickly!

I visited with my friends on Saturday night. It was quite busy but we got in the room on time and staff was really lovely and made our experience so much fun. They do have also latest song but make sure you think about the songs you want to sing before you visit cause it can be a bit stressful to think about what you gonna sing. You can also made up a playlist and than is just pure fun and cocktails are really nice and tasty. We were bit disappointing we couldn't stay more (someone book it after us) at least we know 1 hour is not enough!! Next time :)

Apologies in advance about grammar because i have written this review twice now! I saw the reviews about the horrible staff but I thought I’d be fine as I wouldn’t have to be in much contact with them but boy was I wrong! I had originally booked a room for 12 but had last minute dropouts so called to ask to downsize the room to 9 people which was fine. Meaning I had surplus cash from what I had paid which originally for and the lady on the phone confirmed I had £48 credit. Upon arrival I was asked if I want to set up a tab, I declined because I said we could use the credit first and then just top up when needed (we weren’t drinking too much as we had already been out). When going into the room it was okay, quite dark and small. The sound system was fine unlike what other said but the song selection was poor and outdated and the search on it is rubbish, if you don’t type in every character correctly and in full the system will not find the song. My friend order a pizza and later a few other friends wanted to order drinks and I told them to use the ‘tab’. As some of the other reviews explained they are very strict on time which is annoying because the extra 5 mins we needed to gather themselves wouldn’t have killed them but again this is all part of the terrible service as we were frogmarched down the stairs. If it was closing time or we were the last people in there I would get it but we were but fair enough as we only paid for 2 hours, which flew by. When I exited, I wanted to make sure the bill was settle so I asked at the bar if everything was okay and that is when I found out that my friends had bought drinks from their own cash and not used the money I had because the man at the bar said that we didn’t have a tab only credit and he could use his brain to associate the two. This caused a massive argument where the manager and the waiter (name beginning with A) began screaming at us flinging their arms around. The issue became less about the misunderstanding but more the abuse that us girls were being hurtled with. The manager eventually realised how unreasonable he was being and calmed down and stopped screaming but the waiter persisted that he was correct because they used the word tab and not credit. I just wanted a resolution at that point but instead more staff got involved hurling abuse at us. Now at this point waiter A was shaking with rage and looked as if he wanted to attack us physically. I just wanted to leave. They ended up keeping £32 (minus the disgusting pizza) and threw a few £2 bottles of water at us to shut us up and get us out. I wish I could upload videos as I have a short snippet of the argument (if you want it just email me). In conclusion AVOID THIS PLACE LIKE THE PLAGUE!!! I am not an argumentative person and the horrendous service destroyed my 26th birthday. They just seem fed up, you’re better off going to a pub its not even worth the money when I think about it. Im not one to write reviews but everyone has to know how terrible this place is to save themselves!!!

Booked a room for 9 people on a Saturday evening for a hen do. Great night and staff were lovely. There was a great selection of songs to pick from, a real mix of genres. Rooms are a little cosy for 9 people and just a heads up that there's a minimum of one drink per person.

Who doesn't love a night of karaoke? I booked an hours session at Karaoke box in Soho to celebrate my birthday which at £30 was quite reasonable for central London. Walking in from the buzzing vibe of the surrounding streets, it was quite disappointing to be greeted by miserable staff who looked like they'd rather not be there. Karaoke was fun, drinks were way overpriced and when asked whether we could book the booth for another hour, we were told flatly 'No, it's already booked' although there was no one waiting?? Wouldn't go back in a hurry.

Don’t cater to vegans. Or have any vegan options. When I rang to ask- the woman on the phone was dismissive and unhelpful. So for my fellow vegans out there- you may have to avoid the alcohol and food. But on the whole, a good fun night out with my friends!

Came here with a friend for a bit of karaoke. Cost for 1.5 hours for the two of us was £55. You also have to buy at least one drink each. We had 4 vodka diet cokes in total (£5.50 each). They added on a 12.5% service charge to the drinks so in total for 1.5 hours it cost us around £77, which is way too much. Rooms are pretty run down and song choices quite old and equipment needs updating, but it was okay as a one off.

Teníamos un grupo brithday para mi amigo cuando estábamos buscando un mejor lugar si desea mayor y encontramos este increíble para habitaciones privadas con karaoke. Las habitaciones tiene un agradable con una gran variedad de canciones. Tienen incluso un botón de alcohol así que no os preocupaba perder tiempo yendo al bar. El personal era muy amable. Amazing night! The room fit twelve of us happily and we all had a wonderful time. So great to have karaoke without the embarrassment of strangers watching!

After many great experiences at karaoke box Mayfair we thought we would try the soho franchise... What a mistake we made!!

The sound system was way too terrible for a karaoke place. The drinks and service were okay however the sound system was unacceptable for the price it costed. Definitely not coming back!

Went for Japanese style karaoke expecting it to be like Big Echo or Joysound in Japan. Needless to say, it isn't. The room has an antiquated system and is threadbare in decor. They demanded my credit card as collateral on my drink order after bringing the drinks to the room. Dissapointing.

Drinks were okay. Service was okay . Worst sound system for a specialised karaoke place ever (no bass nothing). For that price it was not worth it. Worst than our 100£ karaoke mic plugged into TV at home!

I arranged a Hen do in Soho on Saturday 17th March 2018. The staff were very friendly, helpfull and attentive. The karaoke was so much fun, we couldn't sing but we didnt care. The only bad comment i would say is there was no where to hang your coats up which was a bit annoying when there are 9 ladies with coats and bags but apart from that. We such an amazing time - Thank you for putting up with us. x

4 of us went for a birthday. Drinks were lovely and song choices were great! Booking was easy and they were very open and easy to contact. I wish we could request songs but that’s the only thing i would suggest. Or to add a byob for a charge as singing is thirsty work and we didn’t want to stop to order!

Pretty Tatty inside the booth, speaker system wasnt good so sound was terrible. Bar service could be offered as you just want to enjoy experience which was made by the people we were with. Artists should be alphabetical order like online on your website, this search didnt work in the booth. Was looking for a bit more class.

I came to Karaoke Box for my 22nd birthday, i was running extremely late however when i called the gentleman who answered was very helpful and pushed back our booking. We were let in and had a great time, the staff were friendly which made the overall experience even better. There was a wide selection of songs, even bolloywood songs, everyone i came with had fun and the atmosphere in general was lively. I will definitely be coming back, thank you to the staff for making me feel special on my birthday!

It was an enjoyable afternoon's entertainment for my daughter's 21st Birthday. Soundproofing needs upgrading but other than that pleasant staff and good service.

Fuimos con los padres justo antes de Navidad, y nosotros disfrutamos muchísimo! Fácil reservar, servicio amable y servicial. Fácil de usar - pantalla de ordenador junto a finder, aunque no estoy seguro de si se puede pre-elegir canción y listas, pero introduciendo canciones encontrar puede ser demoroso - resolvió este dando el trabajo a una persona! La habitación era un poco más grande que nuestro 4, pero un montón de espacio para pararse o sentarse.

The karaoke box had a huge collection of songs, we had our own room, and the staff were welcoming. I will definitely return!

Excellent fun. Great if your a closet Karaoke queen, these booths allow you to sing your heart out with people you know without the embrassement of others watching you. Also the team were very accommodating as we were late,London traffic!! Definitely do this again! Drinks pricey though. X

Overall our time at the Karaoke Box was brilliant and my family had a cracking time! The rooms are a bit small and the decor is a bit bland but that didn't bother us. As soon as ur time is up they stop the music so at least they don't let u run over time! I was confused because on the information it says you get a free drink on entry but we didn't! But we will definetely be coming back.

Fantastic fun for our team night out; we booked a 2 hour session on Wednesday night. Karaoke Box were very welcoming and efficient in their service - getting us set up and keeping our drinks full. Would definitely recommend!

This is a really fun place with nice staff and a good selection of songs. Room was clean and fresh. Only Mark downs was misinformed booking time at reception, and not as wide a range of songs as would have been liked.

We had such a great night here! Great choice of song, awesome private booths and drinks to go along. However it was a little disappointing to have a 20% service charge added to your drinks bill when all he did was bring a bottle of wine and two glasses!!! Thats london I suppose!!

Absolutely loved karoake box. I will definitely be booking again. A group of 5 of us went and we originally booked for 2 hours but extended another hour as we were having so much fun.

We have all got one. The really close mate that is always at least an hour late; who ends up doing very little because they have tried to cram in too much; the one who is always frantic because they make you look organised. Well my close mate like that is getting married. She had talked about a hen night but only gave me names and numbers two weeks ago - the wedding is two weeks away. Of course we are all very different and we're all at least 40 so we have a bit more style. So my friend loves to sing. Actually she & I are terrible at it but...so I booked a booth for three hours and I can honestly say we had a fantastic time.There's a bell to press for waiter service for drinks (we stayed pretty sober as we were too busy catawauling). The selection of songs catered from the obvious to more indie.We girls had a lot of fun in a space that meant we were only embarrassing ourselves.I'd never publicly participate in karaoke - I'm way too British. But top marks to Karaoke Box and the wonderful staff who allowed my stiff upper lip to relax for a while.

We came here one night just maybe one hour before closing, we had a room and enjoyed singing! Rooms are quite small, good for singing with your friends and have fun, you're not singing in front of a full room of strangers, just you and your friends in the little box with the sofas and the screen.Had also a few cocktails.

We went to Soho (Frith St) branch - this is my second time here and would come again. Staff were lovely, good bar, we were given props when we asked for some and there was a good range of tunes on the system. An hour wasn't long enough so book for 2 if you can! Also great value compared to other similar venues and only grumbles were our music in our room (room 1) was a little quiet (other rooms seemed fine!) and that some of the words were wrong - but that last bit kindof adds to the charm so still give it 5 stars. :-)

Had a really good time and despite the room malfunctioning for 30mins they gave us the extra time and more. However, the karaoke facilities are extremely outdated and perhaps a bit pricey as a result. Great fun with the right people.

Friendly staff, very professional, great facilities/ equipment and lots of song choices! We were a hen party and the booth was perfect for our own fun. We could make as much noise as we liked, without disturbing others.

After a day of activities and laughter, it was the perfect ending to our hen party, we could sing, dance and go wild in comfort of our own company with no stranger near by who could ruin it. Very personal. Great location as neat plenty of friendly bars if u wanted to go out after which it really puts you in the mood to go out and boogie. Drinks are way to expensive though which slightly ruins the evening. Not all staff were friendly but the ones that were helped make our night perfect and when you are in your box who cares about anyone else anyway.

randomly decided to go to London with a friend last night (12/3/2017) at aound 8ish. venue looked really good and bar was great, the lady behind the bar was fantastic. booked 1 hour slot but ended up staying in for two hours because it was so fun. the lady behind the bar/ maybe manager was fantastic and made a great night even better. will definitely recommend and definitely go again

Paid for 2 hrs. Received 1 HR 45 min due to prior group overrunning. Staff refused to give us the full time we paid for. Drinks are overpriced. Otherwise the set up/rooms/song selections are great.

In a group of 8 people, I thought it might be difficult finding everyone's taste in songs but the library was vast and there were a lot of songs we enjoyed singing to. Staff were friendly and the space was just right. Thanks for an enjoyable evening!

Celebrated a birthday with friends. Mic was not working properly. The staff were waiting by the door monitoring us 8mins before end of time to make sure we don't stay overtime.

10 ladies arrived for a two hour singing session , the room was clean, and modern, however there were no props as we have had else where in the past. The staff were polite and friendly. Would definitely return.

I went here on Sunday 29th January again with my 5 children and partner. We absolutely love it and always have a great time. The music is great and the booths are comfortable and always clean. The one thing that stands out everytime we go is the fantastic staff! So polite and helpful and so great to the kids. This time a gentleman actually allowed us to have our full allotted time even though we were running late. He also found some instruments for the kids to play with. Huge thanks once again for such a wonderful couple of hrs that ordinarily we can't afford, but I feel the rates are so reasonable and considering the only ulternative on a Sunday afternoon is a dull movie at around the same price for all 7 of us, this definitely wins hands down.xxxxx

My pal and I self indulged with having karaoke to ourselves for just an hour and we ran out after an hour to see if we could get another hour! Good song selection, attentive and fun staff, much cheaper than lucky voice!

Nice staff, prices reasonable for Soho and a great inventory of songs! Been several times and always a great night.

On arrival to this venue the staff did not seem pleased to see us in the slightest. When we asked for a drink menu we were looked at like we asking way to much of them. I don't remember anyone smiling or thanking us for our service. The karaoke was good fun and myself and friends enjoyed this. When I contacted karaoke box prior to attending they were really helpful with my queries- so no complaint there. I just think you need to train the staff to be more welcoming- learn to smile and not to look down their nose at customers- as to be honest it just felt awkward!

Visited here with a group of uni friends for a catch up. Drinks were reasonably priced and the staff were attentive and arrived quickly at the press of a button. Karaoke rooms are great and there is loads of choice of songs. Would definitely visit again, thanks!

We went 2pm on a Saturday for my daughters 10th birthday. We were the only group in there. It was clean, the choice of songs for this age group was fine. We were there for 1 hr 15 mins and that was more than enough. It's very good value for money compared to alternative entertainment venues (bowling, cinema etc) for this age group..

Children are allowed before 9pm and it was a great thing to do with a bunch of teens and pre-teens. Friendly service

Visited for my boyfriends birthday with friends. It was booked as a surprise for him and he was not disappointed. We had 2 hours there and it just flew by. There was a wide variety of songs. Good value for money.

No props, no service while singing. The machine was hard to use. All just a bit unederehelming given the competition of karaoke booths.

We had such a great time. Just 3 of us but we sang our hearts out and had such a laugh. We bought a bottle wine between us ( a minimum was to buy a drink each). We booked an afternoon slot so was quiet so we had extra time free! The time went quick, easy to use screen to set up playlist. I guess if you had big group you'd be fighting over two microphones! A great experience staff friendly and easy to find!

Popped in here on a whim. Didn't expect them to have anything last min but luckily they had an hour in a booth! We both really enjoyed it a lot. It was great fun. They have a very good song selection with some stuff that I wasn't expecting to be there. They had some show tunes for my OH and some rock songs for me. Staff were helpful and polite. The only negative I have is that a condition of renting a session is that you buy at least one drink which I think is very cheeky and you have to factor that into the cost. Overall had a very good time and would go again... maybe for longer next time!

most people know when you go to karaoke your going to e absolutely trashed off your face or at least a tad tipsy! there was 12 of us and we were a rowdy bunch but everyone here was completely accommodating and a lot of fun too so thanks for a great evening!

This was a nice venue for a 21st Karaoke birthday party. Pricey drink but altogether cheap for karaoke :)
