Wow. Everyone here is so friendly. This place popped up on google so we dropped in seven - ish. They gave the four of us a nice table near the grill where the chef was cooking away. The fragrance from the grill was intoxicating and we ordered a selection of grills. The live music was rustic turkish and just soaked in the atmosphere. A selection of salad, hummus and unleavened bread arrived quickly. It was delectable. The mains were really good, my lamb shish tender and flavorful. The turkish coffee was excellent and went along well with the entire meal. The entire place had a very homely and traditional feel about it. The chef even came over and talked to us for a while! I noticed that the bill was not as much as expected, compared to other places i've been to. A great dining experience for all of us.

On a layover so the entire crew decided to visit as it was highly recommended by a colleague. It is up in Enfield and cabbed it. The staff were really welcoming and showed us to a nice table in a corner. The ambience was great and it reminded me of my trips to Turkey and Cyprus. We had assorted drinks and finally settled down with rakki. The menu was pretty standard. We had a whole lot of dishes to share and the food was really tasty, that char grilled taste characteristic of good Turkish cuisine prevailed. Grilled meats were sumptous. The entertainment was good, live music and later on a belly dancer. Clapping, singing and cheering are the norm in a good dining establishment like this and there was no shortage of that. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and will recommend this establishment to other crew members.

We had mezze and the traditional 'Kanatci', or chicken wings. Very very good.

We dropped by for a business dinner last evening.. Much to our surprise, this restaurant is a far cry from all the other Turkish themed restaurants in London today. We were greeted warmly by the staff upon entry and promptly taken to a quiet table not far from the grill. We had a round of traditional liquor to kick the evening off. My clients did the ordering as they are visiting from Turkey. A lovely selection of unleavened bread, dips and chopped vegetables arrived next. I had the 'special chicken wings' which is what kanstci actually represents - chicken wings. In fact, the emtire theme was wings, apparently the head chef is culinary expert on the subject and true enough, my wings were very good. My clients also mentioned that the entirety of what they had consumed was truly authentic and as good as the best restaurants in Ankara A musical duo performed as well and it was very entertaining. The head chef came over and made us feel very much at home. I plan to return soon with my family as this was a memorable visit.

Website menu descriptions confusing, resulting in disappointment, in our case, when food was delivered!

I have passed this restaurant on my travels for years. Looking at the outside of the restaurant puts me off of going in. It looks dilapidated, dirty and unloved. I wonder if the food hygiene is similar.
