Kam House in Derry

Ordered Kung po chicken for delivery. Delivery was in good time, however, very disappointed in the quality of food. It was very bland and didn't taste good. Would not go here again.

Standard Friday night Chinese nothing special. Had one of the meal deals and it wasn't as good as some other meal deals in town, won,t be rushing back

Got a salt and Chilli chicken special from this place on Friday night and was very pleased with it was enjoyable and had just got one tonight delivered to me and it was disgusting I had to throw it away after spending £10.80 because it was horrible did not taste anything like curry sauce which was what I asked, I will not be getting again and I'm not guessing whether it's going to be nice when I get it or whether it will be horrible

Kam House was my family's first restaurant they opened when they went to Northern Ireland. My auntie was the owner of it for a long time together with my uncle. But now it no longer belongs to them. My auntie do have a takeaway in Eglinton, a nearby village called Wok Inn. Her cooking is the best.

derry best chinese im only sad that they don't have a restaraunt also as it would save me doing some dishes but other than that it's just gorgeous and hits the spot 😊

My family have been going to/ordering takeout from kam house for as long as I can remember and it's always been a winner. The chow mein in particular is a fave. Yum.

Great Takeaway, best Chinese in Derry. Have been ordering here for years and you cant go wrong with the food. Deliveries always very prompt also. Great salt & chilli chicken :-)

Very nice to eat out of,the food is A1 👌 and the staff are great to get on way.would recommend it to everyone and for getting deliveries they are right in fast.

Visitor from Dublin, went in for food and it is the nicest chinese takeaway in Derry. Tried all of them and this one as of May 2015 is hands down the best.

Me an my girlfriend went in for a change tonight as we like to sample different Chinese takeaways, THIS IS 1 PLACE I WILL NEVER EAT AGAIN, I order a salt an chilli chicken an my girl order a beef curry special, I got about 4 maybe 5 prices of chicken same goes for the girls beef curry special, poor poor poor food, to top it all off I had a hair in my food, I will never ever step place in Kam house again....!!! Ratings out of 10 -10/10 food was rotten....

Chinese cuisine diluted to meet that vague European notion of Asian food. (How is curry and chips a Chinese meal?!?!?!) Few vegetarian options and no tofu. That said, they're open late and the food is quick and clean and very popular. (And the word on the street is that no restaurant in Derry serves tofu anyway.)
