Just so Italian in Leicester

Great coffee, delicious sandwiches, good portions, good pricing, and great atmosphere. Great location for additional outside seating waiting for summer.

Italian owned and run, this deli cum coffee shop is just the ticket - I had a little lunch with Italian sausage roll, an Americano, with 2 cannoli of different flavours. Outside seating might be warmer in summer, but bright sun today made it pleasant. Indoor seating limited but quick turnover of tables means there is usually a place. Altogether delightful. Lots of good Italian produce inside in the deli and scrumptious takeaway food, which was noticeably popular. Recommended.

I asked for a spoon with my coffee, because, you know, i thought it was the norm to have one with a coffee. And the girl paused, made a weird expression and went "i guess!" ?? Okay then, that's not awkward. And then she had the gall to be sarcastic when she asked if i wanted sugar with it! Well, you know, i thought that a waitress/server/barista would just come with the sugar/sweetener, and put it on the table, no?? My god lol. Guessing she's not really been trained or doesnt care. Oh, and the panetones are complete rip off prices and the owner is rude having barked at me that they were closed (11am) when their door was open.

Stopped in here for lunch. Gorgeous tasting coffee. They have great sandwiches and lunch options. I had a prosciutto focaccia toasted and an arancini. Would definitely recommend for a great lunch. Very quick and prompt service. We sat outside which was nice too.

Since I've moved to the UK many years ago, I have missed real Italian sausage and provolone cheese and other lovely Italian delicacies. I recently discovered Just so Italian and their homemade sausage. I pre-ordered some over Facebook, and rocked up to the Leicester shop that Saturday, also bought some proper pasta and provolone cheese, and what a lovely dinner we had that evening. The coffee was excellent too. Now they're closed because lockdown, but looking forward to more lovely food when they reopen.

Just when we were feeling fed up with Tier 3, we came across this lovely deli in the heart of Leicester. Beautiful canolli and delicious tasty bites. A lovely bottle of grappa was the icing on the cake

The food is amazing and the staff are extremely welcoming. would definitely recommend this place for a coffee and light lunch!

On the way through town we popped in for a coffee & some snacks. We had 2 black coffee’s, The focaccia with Porchetta, Gorgonzola & Spinach and the Italian Sausage roll. They were both delicious & the coffee was excellent! Special mention for the exceptional service & friendly approach. Next time we pop into town, we will find an excuse and make our way back to Just So Italian! Graze!

Popped by today for the first time taking my Mam for an early mother's day lunch. It was perfect. We had a cheese and meat board to share with focaccia. Knowledgeable service giving us loads of choice for our selection for the board and helping us understand what we might like. The fennel salami was incredible, the cheese so tasty. We had a couple of prosecco too as it was for mother's day. We also tried some of the mini cannoli and biscotti. Lovely. Support Independent and local in these strange times... (The focaccia sandwiches looked amazing)

Great food in this Italian Cafe and Deli with hot and cold choices to suit all tastes and using authentic Italian meats and cheeses. Cafe and deli included vegetarian and gluten free options. We decided to share a Foccacia, so that we could indulge in cake too, opting for the Spianata Calabra Taleggio Tomato and Rocket (Cheese and Salami), and tried pastries for dessert. Delicious food, excellent friendly service and good value. We were also able to buy Italian Risotto Rice and Jam from the well stocked deli. Will definitely return for more.

Upon entering made to feel very welcome. Spotlessly clean and all the food was delicious and fresh. I opted for a meat and cheese platter and my companions pizza. The platter was excellent beautiful Parma ham, salami, olives tomatoes and balsamic onions. The pizzas were super and the guy who’s name was Harrison told my Son he could have whatever he liked on his pizza which was really good as children can be a bit fussy, cutting him a piece of salami for him to try to make sure it wasn’t too spicy....nothing seemed too much trouble. Coffee was super, desserts were delicious, I had home made tiramisu which was divine and the OH had fried pasta with jam, little one had pastries, all were duly scoffed. All the staff were really lovely and the service was first class. Please give this place a go as you will be glad you did. There is even a selection of meats, cheeses and different Italian items from the in house deli. We loved it and we will be back for certain. Thanks for looking after us, you did everything right!

Great. Friendly staff who were knowledgeable about allergens and were happy to talk me through their gluten-free products. A little pricey but it's a trendy deli and the food was very nice.

Such a change to walk into a place for the first time and feel welcomed. Smiling helpful staff here really help to make this a great find There is a great variety of food on offer here, excellent sandwiches, soups and pastries,pizza slices croissants and more. They really know their coffee and you can also get beer & wine as well. The tiramisu is to die for. The prices are very reasonable and the quality is of a high standard. Ideal for a quick lunch or brunch. The deli section has a good variety of cold meats & cheeses as well as the largest selection of Italian goodies I've seen for a while. Loads of different olive oils and balsamic vinegars. We'll be back. Thoroughly recommended.

Popped in for a coffee and snack. Great food, coffee, staff and atmosphere. Particularly love the layout of the cafe/deli with it’s wide selection of imaginative products. What’s not to like?

New branch of a small independent chain. Centrally located in St Martins, has a good range of pastries, cake and snacks, with a select range of Italian products. Good welcome and ambiance, excellent coffee and delicious lemon cake. Well worth a visit, both for the quality, and as a change from the big chains. A good addition to Leicester that deserves to succeed
