Great restaurant with a mostly carnivorous offering. The Ribs were incredible. Very tender. Great attention from the waiters and pleasant atmosphere.

Were going to the Ulster hall so went here for dinner before. Very easy walking distance to Ulster hall. Food was good, service was hood, very polite waiters, we were served quickly and food arrived promptly good and warm and tasty. Would recommend

Second time we've eaten here. The food is good enough but the service is were they're excelling. They're especially good with little ones and were more than accommodating of our 2 year old. I forgot his name but the man with the moustache and glasses couldn't do enough for us! Will be back.

Great service. I liked my meal but my friend didn't like their fish and chips. Said the batter was very thick. My lamb was delicious.

Steak just ok, nice fat chips but when you eat onion rings you just feel cooking oil. Not recommended, too expensive and distasteful.

The Food was good and worth trying it!

The food (seabass fillet) was delicious, as well as the dessert. The staff is very friendly and professional. We will come back if ever again in Belfast!

We won a competition for dinner for 2 and this was our first time ever in the restaurant and it will definitely not be the last. The food was amazing. We literally could not have faulted anything. The cocktails were delicious and the cheesecake was devine. The service was first class. All the staff especially the younger staff were amazing and the 2 lovely men on the door were extremely kind, warm and friendly. We had such an amazing evening and we will definitely be returning again and maybe book an overnight stay. If the restaurant was this fabulous I'm sure the hotel is perfect. 💕

Have had lunch a few times here. Can be a bit chaotic at times, but the food is very good and staff friendly and helpful.

I had Prawn pil pil followed by seabass, both were excellent in appearance, quality and quantity. The service was first class, the staff could not have more helpful and friendly. I will definitely be back.

Slow cooked beef was tender but not marinated well enough in the centre. the side vegetables were amazing however

We celebrated my Sisters 50th in Jospers on Saturday evening and the staff and food were amazing. Food cooked to perfection and the staff were lovely, friendly and helpful. This is a 5 star place. Thank you for making the night so special.

Nothing brilliant. Edible burger and chips and service was not bad, but I won’t go back. Really disappointed in the owners/manager that refuses that one can add a tip for the waiters when paying by credit card, so they don’t have to pay tax on it. That is pretty disgusting!

Fantastic. Best meal in a long time, and excellent service. Our little boy spilled his drink at the table and the waiters were so helpful and nothing was too much trouble. We live in Manchester, but Jospers is definitely a good reason to come back to Belfast. Perfect.

A wonderful place for meal, service is excellent the food is wonderful and the atmosphere is welcoming. The cocktails are excellent.

My only disappointment is that when I went to pay the bill of £92 I had a gift voucher to use the value of this was £150 ,if I had used the voucher I wasn't getting another voucher for £58 , I was loosing it .

The environment is truly beautiful and the staff was very kind, the Irish meat we ate was simply delicious and cooked in a masterful way. It was a wonderful evening.

Pleasant and comfortable environment. Upon entering, the receptionist informed us that they would close in 90 minutes. I asked him to call the manager, a very rude man came and informed him that he would be closing soon. A third person intervened and let him in. They are super xenophobic. The food came cold and took a long time. The values ​​do not match what they provide. I do not recommend. You will be bored in this place.

The chef would need to know the difference between a fillett and a rib eye steak , along with what rates as medium rare and medium.....

40 pounds for a ribeye and they can't cook chips won't be back

Didn't have a booking and the lovely girls in here got us a seat right away.. I had the turkey and ham dinner and it was just delicious 😋

pretty average food for the price paid. calling itself a steakhouse yet not having very good steaks. i got beef and bird, steak was average and chicken was overdone and dry/chewy on one side.

Popped in for lunch on Saturday , superb food and service !! Would definitely go back and recommend ! And a word of praise for our waiter who was new to the job but gave attentive and friendly service !!

Lovely food and drink reasonably priced in line with a city centre restaurant. All staff are very pleasant and attentive. Popular and well worth a visit. Great cocktails too...

Enjoy the dinner, everything was great. One criticism would be. Mushy peas served under the battered fish, would prefer them separate,but that's a personal choice. Would return.

Very nice lunch, a little bit expensive for what I got(thin steak on Ciabatta). My friend had the prawns salad (£12.00) it was better value 2 mains(£28.00) and bottle of wine(£26.99)..Suppose that's the going rate of a City Centre hotel.

No one told us that the restaurant we booked for dinner was closed! Nor the opentable neither the restaurant itself. So by the time we were there, they got us in the breakfast area of the hotel, on the 1st floor.. the place is not suitable for dinner. The atmosphere is very different than a steakhouse and reminds old hotel’s breakfast area. I don’t know how is responsible for that, but I m highly disappointed from the restaurant and the app as well. They should say that in prior. However, the food was tasty with big portions.

Hi very clean staff very good and central in bfast city..

Was excited to visit this "steakhouse", however steak seemingly isn't their strong point. I was with a group of 6, 4 of which ordered the ribeye, all medium/rare, each steak was a different thickness and only one was medium/rare. Mine had all the fat cut off it before it was cooked and was over done, don't think the chefs have been trained correctly as the main flavour of a ribeye, comes from the fat. If you're looking for a steak, I would completely avoid this place. Staff were friendly and apologetic, hate to see waiting staff not getting tips simply because of the incompetence of the (I would say chefs in this situation) cooks. Great food, reasonable prices, the waiters were very kind with us. The only problem is that they close at 22:30 even if their timetable is supposed to be until 23.

We took the grandchildren for a treat. They loved it and so did we. The staff and food were lovely.

Was told they did not have the stuff to make certain drinks, when being a bartender for many years I could look over the counter and see they did. Was very disappointed in the food for such a nice hotel, eggs were not Evan done when coming out on the plates. Was told they would not make any drinks that were not on the menu...they have five basic, drinks on the menu. If your going to charge the prices you do, you should back them up with the service the prices demand. Won't go here again.

Went for lunch, food was good, but floor staff need more training

Amazing meal and service A1. As a large group we experienced the same service as smaller parties. The food and drinks were all served in sync. The waitresses were outstanding, polite, confident and with a great balance of humour. Food: very large portions and wonderfully prepared. We took advantage of a set meal menu and every one was easily catered for. Looking forward to returning.

Very disappointed the starter was nice but the mains had no salt what's so ever my stake was tastles no seasoning you would think a good chef would know how important it's seasoning!

Fabulous! Hubby and I had dinner this evening and everything was fantastic. We'd recently been at a wedding and loved the food so thought we'd give the restaurant a try. Both meals were so tasty, good portions, great quality. Veg cooked well not the trendy raw veg you cant eat! We had a nice corner table and it was very relaxed. The USP are the staff. All the waiting staff were so friendly and attentive which makes for a good experience. Will def be back 😃

Lovely restaurant with delicious food and great service. We ate early and were expecting to be on our own but there was a great buzz about the place.

I was told that the place makes excellent fish and chips and tried it. I found out that it was very greasy and did not enjoy it. Unable to comment on other menu items but in general didn't get the vibe to return any time soon.

Servers have no customer service skills. When ordering a starter they walked off while we were in the middle of ordering our mains. Second time we were ignored when the mains came out they walked off to grab a steak knife while I was talking to them. Very poor unprofessional service. Starters were nice. Mains were a let down as steak was undercooked and chicken was overcooked/dry, the mash had been sitting out under the heat light since we arrived (30mins) been continuously used and not made fresh for any dish being served. The peppered sauce was basically non existent. The ribs and sauce tasted like a shop bought packet one. Asked for garlic butter, instead of warm garlic butter they brought out a whack of cold garlic butter straight from the tub. Honestly no one cared in that place and wouldn't recommend going for the price your paying

Good restaurant behind Belfast City Hall. The service was excellent.

My food was on the table before my beer was served. Mash was cold and my steak, which I asked to be medium to rare, was over medium. I paid way to much for a steak that was rather average.

Have to say I wasn't impressed with my steak, for the price and for what I got it wasn't great. Asked for steak to be cooked medium and it was well done, as for accompaniments..... a wee small basket with 10 chips, a tiny ramekin of pepper sauce and half a tomato so hard it wasn't edible. If you are a steakhouse in a 4 star hotel then don't serve 2 star food, this is my honest opinion and more needs to be done to get the ratings you'd expect.

I ended up here because the rain came down hard in the centre of Belfast. The staff were excellent with helpful directions for where to catch the bus to the airport. I loved the bang bang chicken - which had a very generous amount of both chicken and bang! There was a handy plug so I could charge my phone as I ate.

Food was good service was great. Cant remember her name but she was Canadian.

We had a lovely meal out with our 3 kids. Everything was great, especially the wonderful staff who were so friendly and welcoming. Special shout out to the hostess who was lovely and great with the kids.

Was here yesterday with family for mother's day. We were seated staight away, we were given a glass of complimentary prosecco which was lovely. The restaurant it's self looked so nice, there was a guy singing and playing guitar, he was very good. The service was first class , nothing was too much trouble and the food was so good, we all had different meals, we all agreed we would be back soon.

Was Belfast restaurant week so presumed the food would be good but that wasn't the case. Starters were OK, my partner had, I would think, the guts of a whole red onion in her side salad, mine wasn't as bad but still had too much. I ordered Sea Bass which was dry and tough and completely inedible. My partner had ravioli which was swimming in a pool of oil which in itself tasted like chip fat, another inedible dish. We weren't charged for the main but as we were going to a concert didn't have time to eat anymore. We left very hungry and disappointed. Would not eat here again!!
