Barely any flavour, driver was rude, meat was poor quality. Overall the worst Indian I’ve ever eaten honestly.

It’s usually my go to for an Indian, everything was fine but the Shami Kebab was too salty I had to throw it away please do not put too much salt in the kebabs.

Did not enjoy the saqui lamb dish, lamb was chewy and the sauce taste like it had vinegar in it and a bit spicier then expected medium to mild but the rest of the order was ok.

My food was so so so lovely would have got 5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ But it wasn’t very hot by the time it got to me

Unfortunately the restaurant mixed up the order. I received someone else's delivery then when it was exchanged for mine items were missing. Very unusual as I have never had a problem before.

My fav place to order for an Indian, was so upset when it was not delivering to me couple weeks ago, ordered today and was back delivering only place I’ll eat from loveeeeeeeeee!!!

Very tasty food, good.portion size! They also gave me a bunch of free popadoms with mint sauce. 10/10 from me.

Portions sizes were very small and this made it poor value for money. £4.30 for two tiny samosas. The food was also cold on delivery. It’s a shame because the food was actually tasty. If the portion sizes increased and the food was delivered hot, then it could potentially be 5/5. However, based on today’s food I will not be ordering again.

Great little restaurant, food and service is amazing. Found this place by doing a Google search as I was staying down by the cable cars. That part of LDN is so expensive hence wanting on eating out. We both had butter chicken, service was so quick, can not wait to return. Thanks again.

it WAS a great cheap place for above average Indian food. Now it’s wayyy overpriced and the portions are getting smaller and smaller. There’s are LOADS of better places. Search elsewhere, not here!!

Read good reviews ….ordered at opening time, veg leaked over salad and container. Half chicken was burnt stale hard smallest ive seen this year 100% Biryani got chucked in the bin after 5/6 mouthfulls as I couldn’t carry on …. Really disappointed.

Must admit the food wasn’t very hot when it arrived maybe as it was delivered by peddle power..food was better during the week

Set meal very good value and tasty, they happily made my lamb bhuna spicier as requested.

Food was superb and once again ordered far to much for one person but hay ho i dont have to cook today either,I actually went and sat in the restaurant last saturday with a friend dont be fooled by the decor the food was outstanding and service was great to and value for your money carry on doing what your doing Jolsagar...

Was fine, we had to call the restaurant about a special requirement and they were helpful. Most was nice but the Chicken Tikka was overcooked.

Pretty decent quality food and it’s fairly priced. Not very expensive but not cheap. On Tuesdays they offer further discount so worth the money for Asian food. Recommend to all 👍

The tikka masala wasn’t a tikka masala. It was way too sweet, tasted like coconut and just had red food colouring added. No flavour. Prawn puri was nice but a bit too oily. Everything else was nice.

It was pretty good, just wish the portions were a little more generous. Prices are somewhat fair and good for people as they offer 20% discount. Would order again👍

Very poor delivery driver no lock for his bike made me come down to collect could not work out the flat number snd push buzzer for flat 28 which seems like the minimum skill a delivery driver needs

The Dupiaza was swimming in oil and a lot had covered most of the contents of the delivery bag. It tasted ok. The Biryani wasn’t nice at all and was almost like it had been reheated and with frozen veg. Inedible and thrown away. The peshwari naan was nice though perhaps a little too thick and soft. Would have been perfect if a little thinner and baked longer. The Tikka Masala was almost unnaturally red, the chicken was in huge pieces and a little tough and dry. Taste was ok. Overall a disappointing meal.

What is wrong with this place!! Food delivered 1 hr early. When I complained they stated they were not aware of the time it had been requested Second delivery that arrived way too soon Will not be ordering again.

The food is good. I wasn't disappointed, with one exception. The chicken tikka masala was tasty, but the sauce was WAY too sweet. I had to take the chicken out of the sauce and rinse the sauce off in order to eat it.

I usually love my chicken bhuna from here but last nights was so watery and not much flavour. Also I’ve noticed the onion bhajis are getting smaller every week. Come on Jolsagar don’t lower your standards.

The food was poor and not worth the money they charge,the chips where very low grade and disgusting in taste,the chutney tray consists of 3 pots of mint sauce and 1 mango and 1 red sweet sauce ,not a very good product,the samosas where low quality ,I've had better from the freezer section in asdas,and the mixed kebab consists of 6 small pieces of meat very poor for the prices charged,in all I will not be ordering from there again ,and to say the last thing that the prawn cocktail was mixed in with all the hot food and was warm as he'll, voild not wat this

The first 2 occasions I had no complaints especially as the food was delivered on time and piping hot. The 3rd time I found that the ingredients were not up to standard and felt disappointed that maybe the dishes were thrown together. Otherwise generally good value.

Been trying London curry houses for years but keep coming back here. By far the best! Service is incredibly quick and friendly, plus the food is amazing. Sauces are genuinely flavoursome and if you want it extra spicy they’ll crank up the heat as far as you can handle. Well worth the trip East if you want the best, don’t believe the Brick Lane hype

This isnt just any old restaurant food Jolsagar always go the extra mile i have used this place for well over 20 years either as a sit in or a take away eater EXCELLENT

Missed a Jalfrezi from my order so had to have the naan and bhajis dry. Bhuna with rice was ok but was barely enough sauce so a bit on the bland side. Food was ok in general but many other places are better. Delivery was quick though. Personally will be going elsewhere.

Please could we have more curry Chef. The reason people purchase curry takeaways is primarily for the curry. More juice in quantity as well as quality. Salmon Tikka, needs to look like salmon, i.e. not diced in cubes with no sauce, it needs sauce. Chicken Tikka also needs sauce. The lack of sauce in the meal was not very good. Apart from that, everything was fine. Delivery driver really smiley makes a change.

It was terrible. Food arrived in about 10 mins of me ordering it -clearly not fresh. No nice flavours. Won’t be ordering again. Waste of my money! O

Food quantity was good, but the food was very oily. I ordered chicken curry, chicken biriyani and paratha. After eating chicken curry I got lots of reflux and heartburn due to oil and spices. Paratha was too heavy to eat. It could be bit lighter and soft. Unfortunately I am not going to order food from this restaurant. Except the quantity and less delivery charges, there is nothing that could attract me. Delivery had been made on time.

Food had excessive colouring, salt and oil - totally unnecessary (and unacceptable) I'm afraid. Do you guys ever taste the nonsense you dish out to people? Sample your dishes here and there for goodness sake! People are spending their money buying your food - cook it properly and with care! Will not be wasting my time or money ordering from here again.

First time order and very happy with the food, super tasty and fast delivery!

I ordered through Just Eat. There was a mix up where the driver thought I had to pay for the delivery. The food was prompt and hot on delivery however was disappointed that it was rather salty. The vegetable curry that accompanied the Biryani was extremely oily.
