Pizza Express in Newham

The worst salad I ever ate. It wasn't eatable. The chicken breast tasted as one day old, freezing cold, boiled, not grilled, the egg cold and the sald leaves where chopped with an axe.

Really lovely place. So nice to dine in here, relaxed and quite, staff are excellent 💯 Very welcoming and attentive. Shout out to Jaida who was so friendly and helpful. Recommended to all but definitely for a quieter experience it is ideal, away from the rush of Westfield. The manager is great and the pizza was delicious. Definitely my place to go in Stratford. Great for family, friends or business lunch. Use your deals in here too. Highly recommended.

Popped in for a quick lunch on Thursday whilst having a meeting in the theatre. Was met by incredibly charming manager who managed to persuade me into a dessert I definitely didn’t have room for! Her service was fantastic and I would come back here for her alone. However the food was great and just another reason! Hats off to the venue, was very nice and when back in the area I will definitely be back!

My order was so late and the quality of the pizza is definitely not pizza express standard… I’ve never had a pizza look like this when dining in. So I’m assuming they don’t care about the customers who order online?

Good food with prompt service, and pleased to use the app to find free dough balls too. Pizza was delicious as was dessert. As I was leaving a mouse came in, these things happen, but very disappointed that staff attempted to stamp on it in view of customers instead of removing it discreetly and humanely, and then investigating the problem later.

The base was nice but cold and burnt at the same time. It was not eatable. Pizza express doesn’t have good reviews and I know now why. I’ve called them and they said they will speak to just eat and ask for refund but I won’t hold my breath!

Staffs low mood and attitude put a damper on the evening, manager was really lovely and positive however. Atmopshere of the place would have been nice if not for service.

The classic Margarita pizza and the Giardiniera are the best. Make sure you ask for black pepper and chilli oil. For starters, the dough balls are an absolute delight. Especially with the garlic butter. Amazing stuff at pizza express!

45 minutes took them to get our pizza without good service. We were 2 people but only had 1 cup for drinking water for example and no one even checked to see if sth is missing.

Pizza was frozen not even cooked it was dry smelly and probably from three days ago had to throw all away. Potatoes was cold oily and soggy worse order ever didnt eat any of it.very disappointed

Mohammed was absolutely amazing at serving us, gave us a Royal service and we definitely felt special! Outstanding customer service and made our dessert extra special for us. Definitely the best Pizza Express around. Thank you Mohammed!

Even through the update said the driver was at the restaurant, when i called he wasn’t there. Things didn’t resolve until the restaurant helped by calling just eat. The driver indicated he didn’t speak English when i asked him.

Our favourite Pizza Express. Much more relaxed than Westfield and the staff are lovely.

I would rank this a 5 star pizza chain in Stratford area. Quiet for sure compared to the one at Westfield itself, which is what I like about for families with young children to dine in. Been couple of times, service and food have been fantastic! Would come back to this place again for sure.

The food was great, and I had a lovely time with my friends. Mohammed provided amazing service from beginning to end, recommending some delicious dishes that we all enjoyed. We left with three very full stomachs 😊

Good environment and was served by Nilisha she was really friendly and swift. The good was good too had Penne Al Forno with Garlic Prawns it was delicious.

My friends and I (5 people altogether) went pizza express and we take our orders and when the food arrived. Most of our food is over cooked the dough balls were charred a lot and the pollo pesto pasta I ordered the pasta was overcooked and was literally crunchy. When we went to pay for the bill and the staff charged us an extra cake 4/5 people ordered cake, I know it was a mishap and it got taken off. Overall service wasn't the best compared to last year, food definitely overpriced from the quality me and my friends received.

Very quiet when we visited on Sunday night. Swift service, but very little atmosphere, and unclear how to actually get into the restaurant! Pizza was standard Pizza Express, but the cocktail was rather disappointing - it was meant to be a berry mojito but barely had any flavour other than mint, and was made with large cubes of ice.

The pizzas are excellent. The crust is not too thick. We stopped off here for an early meal before going on to Abba Voyage. It was an excellent choice. However, rather pricey.

I visited a few days back and I really loved the ambience. Nilisha served us, she was Very friendly and good. Must visit for amazing food and ambience.

Everything was fine except the manager who is rude and did not want to answer us politely, but waitress was really nice.

Very quiet, Less Busy, Excellent Service, The taste of those magnificent and also can be use romantically, even when it night time (ground floor only via Stratford Picture House) It does have delivery, wheelchair access and also products also selling the in store, also can be use for events (work related meeting or others including birthdays) Very Highly recommend

Went here earlier today. Service wasn’t great as my starter and main was burnt. However, Ana was very professional in resolving my issue which was much appreciated. It’s a shame that her staff member Mohammed, did not take kindly to my complaint and even flung the receipt at my friend & I once the price had been amended as a result of my problems with my food.

the delivery service is not serviced at all. You will get the answer "wait 10 minutes". After 10 minutes, you will get the answer that wait another 10-15 minutes. just STUPID employees.

The Garlic pizza had one garlic piece and no cheese. It was like eating a slice of white bread with cold tomato paste! I also ordered a garlic bread sharer but instead was given a single slice garlic bread.This was all for delivery. I was charged so much for norhing

Amazing experience at this Pizza Express - food and service were both excellent. Our waiter Mohammed went above and beyond helping me out with a bike issue before watching ABBA Voyage. We will be back next time we visit Stratford!

My daughter had her 7th birthday party here. Mohammed from Pizza Express made it happen. I’d been given wrong information about how to book the party by one of his colleagues. Mohammed turned everything around for me. He helped with the booking and in the day he guided the kids in their pizza making. My daughter had a lovely time and so did her friends. Every business needs a Mohammed. Thanks for making us feel so special and valued.

Went a few months ago and all my dad could go on about was how genuinely excellent the service was, - every single member of the waiting staff was warm and kind and they were flexible enough to recreate affogatos for us for dessert. We weren't expecting this kind of service to come so naturally/in an unforced manner in a chain restaurant. Food tasted great too. Thanks for a lovely evening

We ordered food (specifically off the vegan menu) and were very unsatisfied with the meal. Very tomato heavy and undercooked for the amount of time it took to come out. Other people received their meals within 10 minutes of their arrival compared with ours being over 40 minutes. When we ordered we were one of 2 tables in the store. When enquiring with the manager he was super defensive and stated “that’s just how it is” when the meal presented was clearly different to past experiences and pictures on the specific branches website. When asking for the bill they took over 20 minutes to provide us with it and ignored our requests for the bill. Upon request one of the vegan meals was remade but the chefs remade it with non vegan cheese. Fun experience… The waitress Leah was lovely though.

I saw one of the member of staff disrespecting a deliveroo courier, shouting and being very rude to the delivery man. Appalling, I always order on dleiveroo and I wouldn’t want my courier to be disrespected like that. Multi apping and not attending couriers and then being rude to the courier. Pathetic.

What a horrible experience. Order was over 2 hours late,by no fault of the driver,just the restaurant. When it eventually got here,food was cold,it was burnt and some of the extra toppings I’d selected and paid for were omitted. Would not recommend,opt for alternative branches instead.
