Fantastic lunch, the beef ribs were succulent as were the wings. They had a lounge singer who's name escapes me for the minute but real family entertainment and was very popular with the crowd. All in all lovely afternoon, highly recommend.

It was an incredible experience. I'm a truck driver and I took advantage of the break to spend an afternoon at this incredible pub. I was with a friend and we were very well received. We even had the opportunity to play pool with the representative of the home team. The owner made sure we took some appetizers to the truck. In the future I intend to take a trip with my family to the United Kingdom and I will definitely go to this pub just to see the people who were so warm to me.

Waited 1.35hrs for hunter chicken which was re heated when arrived but did get full refund.

Long wait (1hr 45 mins )for reheated food. Best thing about meal was the onion rings…. Did receive full refund, but sadly won’t be back!!!!

Good food at a great price. Two meals for £14 Monday to Thursday! Clean and friendly atmosphere. Service was really good. Staff were lovely, polite, and attentive.

Just had a lovely plate of nibbles. Staff were so very friendly. Food was great and wine was perfect. Chef apologised for not having a couple of things on the menu. She didn't need to because it was all great. But such a nice attitude. We will be back, thank you for the excellent hospitality. We only stopped by, by chance but glad we did xx

Lovely place for my first here as I live 300 miles away. Came for a few pints with my uncle and Becky and Jodie were really friendly and made me feel very welcome! Will definitely pop back and maybe eat too!

Great atmosphere, Becky the barmaid was cheerful, chatty and helpful, good food and affordable.

Very well done covid procedures. I could do everything from my chair and ordered drinks and food right to the table. Reasonable priced beer too, the ciabatta BLT was really fantastic [Edit 1] I just went for a meal with the family and it was really well done. The serving staff were amazing and very attentive, there was plenty of access there and the disabled toilet was spotless. 10/10 ..as a bonus. The beer was served really cold in really clean glasses! [Edit 2] We just had a sharing platter and chicken wings and it was amazing!. The firecracker chicken wings are really well done, I loved them. Each time it's been a different member of staff, but they've all been fantastically friendly. [Edit 3] We went to this place again and had another fantastic sharing platter between us. There was garlic bread, mushrooms and more. One thing I'd like to point out is how well the deep fried stuff came out, so many places I've been to the deep fried stuff is cooked at a too high temperature or for too long. All the stuff that had been deep fried here was really nicely done and you could tell by the taste that the oil was good and changed recently. Safe to say this is an excellent place to go on your own or as a family. It has an excellent beer garden perfect for summer

So what was An old worn out pub in estover had now transformed into a top name in the south west! With brilliant staff and and great food cheap drinks l can honestly claim this as my local. Absolutely amazed at the quality level and also the refurbishment is amazing this beats any pub in the area that has undergone renovation.

Nice atmosphere, friendly and good price's.

Stopped off for a drink after shopping an extensive choice of draught beers rums and Gins although we didn't eat this time we have on previous occasions and the food has always been excellent. The Jolly Miller always have specials and were offering two fish and chip meals plus peas for an amazing £18 . The staff are friendly and conscientious are empty glasses were collected in a flash and the barmaid even wrote down the name of a particular gin I enjoyed. A lovely time at the Jolly Miller will definitely be back .

My first visit for years.It has been refurbished to a very high standard.The food was Gorgeous and plenty of it. The best pot of tea I had in ages. The staff were lovely.Couldnt fault it

Both had the pies last night, beef for my other half, I had the chicken & ham. Both hit the spot on a cold night,after walking down.

Lovely food, atmosphere let down by swearing costumers at the bar,shame if children are present. Hope it don't slip back to the bad old days bar staff make no attempt to curb this . Customers will soon stay away I love the pub come owners get a backbone . .

This pub has recently undergone a complete refurbishment, and is now a lovely family gastro pub with great food. Would recommend the chicken and leek pie!

Since the refurb the place is very different, it is clean and tidy. Will go back and now we know the easy way to get in with a pram it is even better

A very good referb and not before time but must try to get bums on seats to make it the place to go in this part of the city.

I have known this pub for years , so to get the chance to work on the refit and to go back to carry out small jobs to improve it is and was a fantastic opportunity. The staff are well trained ,Alot of hard work is put in by the manager 'Beckie ' , the chefs doing there extra bit to make the food a realy high standard . Local staff making it better for the community. A big thubs up from me .

I've lived in estover for two years and never ventured to the 'old' jolly. The ' new' jolly is friendly and welcoming and quickly becoming my local. Keep up whatever you are doing ! I'll be back
