Been here a few times now, on a friend’s recommendation, and have always enjoyed my meal. Staff have always been friendly and professional. Looking forward to going back.

Visited with a friend, the food is ok but one member of staff needs serious customer service training. Was sat next to a woman with her kids, one of them spilled something and the woman asked for a cloth so that SHE could clean it up. The member of staff went mental, telling the woman she was a crap mother and her kids were shouting all other the place. We were sat next to them and they weren't. Everyone else in the shop was stunned. I had to reassure the woman that they had done nothing wrong (if this company tries to tell me I am wrong, check your CCTV). I have never seen anyone so unprofessional and will not be returning. If you have kids definitely do not visit.

Nice staff but that was it. Ordered the beef and what I got was three giant cubes of meat that was hard on rice. Threw it away. Not close to worth the nine pounds.

A group of us used to go often to their stand in Spitalfields. It was tasty and well-loved by all. We made a special trip to get it again, now they've moved to Dalston. I guess their overheads have increased a lot, because the box was 90% rice, and the rice tasted more oily than usual. What little I got in the way of beans was ok. This was the same for all of the boxes, almost entirely just rice. It was a rip off for £6.50, I'd have been mad if it was full price. The responses to low reviews on Google Maps are hilarious though, have a look. 2 stars because the Chilli sauce is still great.

Just what this second generation Nigerian Londoner has been waiting for. Tender meat, just like your mother used to make level of spicy and juicy sauce without the oiliness. If you’d like a taste of West Africa via East London Jollof Box is a must. Not your standard takeaway prices but well worth the extra couple of pounds for the kickass taste. You can seat in or takeaway. I takeaway and tuck in from the comfort of the sofa. I’m already on my third visit.

-Having worked in Abuja for 2 years, I have to say that, apart from the food they served, the decoration and atmosphere made me feel like I was sitting at a random restaurant in Nigeria again. -Loved the naming of the food after famous African footballers. -For one person, I think the Ococha fits well in terms of portion.

I had heard about this place and was eager to try. They have a varied menu and I ordered the Weah with a side of Moi Moi. The food come in a Chinese style take out box which I was not prepared for. The portion size is good, but i did not appreciate all the food on top og each other. For me the food was a bit salty and I was disappointed to find some chicken skin in my box - but that's just me. Give it a try for yourself.

The owner is very dedicated to delivering a good product with decent service. We had 4 boxes of Jollof Rice, with variations of Fish and beef. I have to say we were not disappointed. The food was tasty and plentiful. The beef literally fell off the fork and tasted like it was home-cooked as opposed to being mass-produced... I will definitely recommend this and I will definitely be back ... hopefully, this will be the start of a chain.

Bought the Okocha jollof that should have consisted of 'grilled chicken and plantain' but what I got was scattered pieces of over cooked chicken that was disgusting. The rice tasted like palm oil was used in its preparation to compensate for less use of tomato puree or paste The food was too oily and it was a waste of my £9 paid for it. Packaging will not work and will not attract customers but only the quality of the food will. Please sort this out or you be shutting down soon.

The worst Nigerian suya I’ve ever ordered. Not only was it frozen, it wasn’t microwaved properly. The puff puff was an eye sore, probably fried a week before and was microwaved atleast six times. The absolute worst and a waste of my money AVOID!!!!!
