I love Johnny Doughs' super spicy option. The spicy sauce is absolutely delicious. Good amount of vegetarian options as well! I would recommend the Goat's cheese pizza and the Mediterranean vegetable pizza.

Bit expensive for what is really bit burnt too staff could smile a bit would create a nice atmosphere I got stared at maybe because I'm tall dark and handsome but I was only dark skin person in the venue with beard anyway I would go there again just to see if anything changed I have just moved area as well its really lovely area with lots of nice peaple only felt different here

I’m really unhappy with the service and it’s really bad customer service it’s really disappointing, came in to enjoy the food but it was just disgraceful service

I wanted to book a table for my daughters 13th for 1pm, as the opening time was showing as 12pm online, but the restaurant times hadnt been updated and it didn't actully open until 4pm. The staff were so accommodating and went out of their way to open especially for us at the earlier time of 1pm. The service was excellent, lovely polite staff, the table was decorated to wish my daughter a happy birthday on arrival, and everybody enjoyed the lovely fresh pizzas. 😁🍕

This is my second time walking in this takeaway to order food and they’ve refused my order because of my skin colour

We had a fabulous meal for our last night in Penmaenmawr after staying at a lovely holiday let in the village. The food was amazing! Best pizza we've ever had! Fantastic holiday too!

We came in last night (2/6) and it was busy. The girls were amazing as was the chef. Our pizzas were just on point and tasted just as good as they looked. We could see they were rushed off their feet but they sailed on through with a smile, they made sure everyone was OK and went above and beyond. Definitely need to open more frequently We would love to come for a weekday evening pizza. Although there was a delay on drinks we knew it wasn't a fault of their own but they communicated with us the progress and held fantastic conversation, they're just absolutely lovely, and seeing the team having some banter was reassuring that despite how busy they were they always made the atmosphere fun. The girl in the blue shirt kept on checking in with the staff that they were OK and that is good management right there, not many places show they care for staff. The other girl was Fantastic also - nothing was to much and your chef... what a talent he has! Unfortunately we didn't catch names properly BUT they definitely need praise 🙏 We WILL be returning and we know bookings are clearly essential. Nothing to big or small and we couldn't of left happier than we did! There was another young man we didn't get much from him as he was back and forth but even he always had a smile on his face - so something or someone is doing something right. Thank you. K! 😀

Another lovely evening at Johnny Dough’s in Penmaenmawr. Nic was working her socks off on front of house, great hosting, marvellous food and happy children. What’s not to like?

Tasty pizzas with both traditional and modern toppings.

Not particularly busy staff were brilliant, kids loved making their own pisas.

Had the goats cheese and caramelised onion pizza as a takeaway and it was delicious. Staff very friendly and helpful too.

Disappointed! After reading good reviews, I decided to treat myself to a takeaway Farmhouse pizza(Ham&Mushroom). Wish I hadn't bothered, barely any ham and slightly burnt edges. For £10.95, it was pretty poor and nowhere near as good as I can make myself for a third if the price.

Called in on the way home from the beech, last minute decision but a good one. Great pizzas friendly staff and quick service. Pizza big hit with the kids definitely recommend and will go again.

Really nice place, great food and friendly, helpful staff. Gluten free pizza was just as nice as original pizza 🍕 😋 You definitely need to book in advance to avoid disappointment as very popular place!

We had a late lunch with a family of four. We immediately received drawing kit for the two young kids which was welcomed straight away. We felt ourselves in a very friendly environment and the restaurant was simple yet stylish. The food was very good, all of us loved every piece of it. We will visit again if we're in the area for another holiday.
