the only problem was the driver acting ignorant when giving the food.

took almost two hours for it to come covered in chilli sauce that wasn't ordered disappointed

I ordered early for an early tea but was absolutely amazing the amount of food we got fed myself and 5 kids with spares left over and cost me £18! Will definitely be ordering again was super hot too was sceptical because of reviews but glad I ordered

Lovely fresh fish and chips curry was tasty and peas were nice too all was delivered hot

All the food was cold part from the kebab, chicken was tough

still not arrived so most likely cold and soggy

never disappointed with joes, absolutely delicious and still hot on arrival. smash burgers are banging 😍

Large Cod & Chips with Mushy Peas. Beautiful white fish, nice melt in ya mouth light batter & good chips & mushy peas. Absolutely top notch

Although the delivery was late I rang up to ask where it was just to confirm it was actually going to be delivered and they thoroughly apologised over the phone and once again when delivered and even gave me 2 cans of coke which I never ordered 👌🏻👌🏻 not a single complaint about the food it was piping hot and beautiful 10/10 easily 😀 tbh I think it was so busy because they have a deal on 40% off if you spend +£25 DEFINITELY going back there 👌🏻👌🏻

I’ve been ordering from these for long time. The shop looks extremely clean few times I’ve been. Their chips are like from fishies which I love, affordable good quality food. Really can’t complain . They open fairly early too. Love these guys.

Became quite a regular place for us to eat from and the food is absolutely tasty! Never usually nothing to complain on until tonight. Pay £2.99 for a regular chips for it tl be a tiny portion smaller than a kids portion

Pizza was decent, Parmo was just ok (circular Parmo), and the chips were cold. Could’ve been better tonight.

Chips were bitty, scrappy and barely warm. Fish were okay but as they were Large cod I am worried what small portion I would have got for a standard size. Overall very poor, even with 40% off it’s far from reasonable.

Chips were not good at all, more like scraps. Battered Sausages were over cooked and children said it hurt their teeth biting into them. Think Joes got an identity crisis going on and should stick too pizza and parmos and leave fish shop to down the road at Durham road fish bar

It has been a while since I last ordered from Joe's and the food quality has massively gone down hill, it used to be so nice. If I had the choice I wouldn't have given any stars for delivery as we waited just under 2 hours, however it had made me give a rating hence the 1 star. I only got updates for delivery when I contacted the store which again I think is very poor as I should have been updated about the delay in advance. I don't recommend Joe's and I won't be ordering again.

Food came I ask for garlic in my wrap didn’t get none in chips too hard and also 3 things was missing also

Ordered twice now and both times forgot items! First time forgot 2 large garlics phoned up they sent 2 small garlics, second time ordered a mars milkshake, didnt bring that then phoned 1 hour after delivery asking if i want it delivering still

Normally on point, tonight portion size very small and quality and taste really disappointing . Have ordered week after week but tonight was so bad we won’t order again in a hurry, feeling sad as this was our go takeaway.

Order never turned up. Waited three hours, requested update, tried calling the takeaway, didn't get a lick back. Total rip off merchants - best avoided!

Sweet chili sauce was not sweet chili sauce Garlic bread with chicken special was missing the donner meat...and the barbecue sauce Chips were greasy The staff member had a nice smile though.

I did ask for large garlic but only recieved small. Order was missing parmesan. Joe's said they would send it out with next driver. Great.... But it was cold 😔. Then 30 mins after recieving cold parmesan we were delivered a hot fresh one from the first driver who apologised 😊 Thankyou for rectifying the order.

Opened up the cheese burger which was in tin foil.. the whole burger was saturated in grease and the bit was wet right through. Tried picking it up and fell to pieces! Had to go straight in the bin! Not happy what so ever and won’t be using this take away ever again. Hope just eat can resolve this.

Food was a mix of temperatures, mainly lukewarm/edible but the pizza kebab and parmesaan were cold.

surprised to be able to order to Middlesbrough, 1st time ordering and was glad I did, food arrived hot and fresh, it was nice to get a bolognaise parmo that wasn't just tomato sauce on top. parmo was lovely

Easily the worst fish n chips I’ve had. All went in the bin absolutely tasteless

Food never arrived and when called the restaurant the customer service was shocking they were rude and unhelpful and made it out it was my fault that the food wasn’t delivered said twice on the app that my food had been delivered when it hadn’t

This place is a joke ordered online, they took my money and then didn't bother delivering the food, and when I try to call to complain the phones just going straight to voicemail, don't get fromhere they will just rip you off

Possibly the worse order I’ve received forgot items, pizza is terrible just falling apart, nothing at all tastes good,and the Portion of chips for £3 is crazy like barely a handful, possibly the worst £40 I’ve every spent

Never had to give negative feedback before. But for the price paid I will not be ordering from here again. Was really looking forward to them too. Terrible

it told 40 mins to get my food 2 calls and then the staff put phone down on me rude so rude

said it would arrive 20:10-20:30, arrived 20:35. also it was marked as delivered at 20:25 even though it had not arrived yet
