The food had me smiling ear to ear covered in sauce. I recommend to anyone and everyone. Jerk chicken was 10/10 Chips were 10/10 Rice was 10/10 Sauce was 10/10. Amazing service, the shop is decorated to perfection, goin again today

Attended last week the food was good, great service from team JJ's they served our party of 9 with no problem. Rum punch was lovely, and the place is well worth a visit.

I could smell the jerk chicken outside and it smelt amazing! The jerk sauce has a slightly sweet bbq flavour. Only thing is that I add some scotch bonnet sauce to make it spicer! I was supprised how big the dumpling was when I took it out the bag, sweet, fluffy and crispy. Wish I lived closer!

We were reminiscing about a recent family holiday to Jamaica and my son said he really fancied jerk chicken. So thought we’d give JJ’s a try. From start to finish it was fantastic. Everyone there was friendly, make you feel comfortable and at ease, in true Jamaican style. The food, we all had jerk chicken with rice and peas, was delicious. The chicken was tender, moist and lip tingly spicey, the rice and peas were also lovely. The only thing missing was the Jamaican sun and a nice glass a rum! Will definitely be back!

The jerk chicken and chick pea curry were particular highlights. The customer service was exceptional, with the staff being friendly, attentive, and accommodating. A fantastic dining experience overall—I highly recommend it!

DELICIOUS!!! Amazing jerk chicken , dumplings and salt fish & ackee. The magnum tonic wine is super fun and quite strong! Portions are massive and easy to take home. Thoroughly recommend, wish we had discovered this place sooner. Can’t wait to go back. :)

Found JJ's after going to the Trafford. Me and my husband have been after a good Caribbean place for while since moving up north and JJs didn't disappoint. We had curry goat with rice and peas, dumplings (which are huge) and curry patties and loved everything. Great flavour and such lovely service, will deffo be back.

No doubt the best place in urmston to grab a food from everything on the menu is 10/10, and the staff are beautiful people who deserve all the custom in the world

I ordered food from JJs & the lovely Marcia for a corporate event. It was very short notice but was no issue at all. The jerk chicken is the best I have ever tasted, one of my customers commented that the dumplings were the best he has had. I ordered over £200 worth of food on the Monday which was very short notice and it was ready for me the next day. My colleagues and customers really enjoyed the food and it was a massive talking point for the rest of the day, some of them even took doggie bags home 😊 I cant recommend JJs more highly the service is top notch and so is the food

Me and my friend ordered chicken and chips but got a large dumpling with chicken on top we didn't want to male a fuss and so ate the food it was very good and very good for the price also good amount.

I had a takeaway from JJs today, of the oxtail and lamb chops and an array of sides. The food smelled incredible and tasted just as good. I have been to many Caribbean takeaways in south Manchester and this is my new favourites. To add the price is very good for the quality and amount of food. Thank you for the friendly welcome too, we will be back soon.

Ordered as Saturday takeaway. Had a couple different dishes. Jerk chicken, lamb chops, curried goat. Everyone loved the food was so tasty and such good value too! Others have previously tried peppered steak and also said delicious! Will be ordering again. Top notch!

Wow amazing food, feels very traditional with the games available whilst you wait. My 10yo loved his game of chess (he's learning so not long). I had jerk chicken rice and peas son had lamb patty other had Curried goat. We all tasted each others and it tastes as good as it smells. Delicious authentic carribean food. Me and my husband plus kids stumbled across this little gem after a party at cheeky cherubs this afternoon. Let me tell you we were not disappointed. We ordered jerk wings and fried dumpling and a chicken split and let me tell you the chicken was fire.. very flavoursome and tasty. Dont get me started on the fried dumpling honestly the best iv ever had and they are enormous! Thank you for our delicious meal today I couldn't eat your amazing food and not leave a review.. you will definitely be seeing more of us 😅. Blessings x

First time trying JJ’s Caribbean Kitchen and all I can say is wow! Hands down one of the best Caribbean takeouts I’ve had. The flavour, the portion size, everything is amazing! Even just tasting the smoker from the jerk chicken😍 We got deserts too and I’m sure they’ll be just as nice, the rum cake was so fluffy and moist! Highly recommend this little business!

Recommended to this little gem in the centre of Urmston (just off Hr Road), tho we live in Urmston didn't know it existed. Went tonight for the first time- DEF NOT the last. We had the chips topped with BBQ chicken,also Jerk chicken with rice n peas- everything REALLY tasty, really great menu & prices. Hubby said how friendly they were when he collected the food. Great to have a change from the normal, Indian,Chinese, Fish n Chips!!! Delicious!!!!!!!

really disappointed ngl probs won’t b back again as my more local caribbean is always on point w price n serving, so i got a medium meal w 3 sides and 2 cans totalling around £20… bbq jerk wings were bone dry (literally rock solid), mixed veg was boiled corn peas n cabbage (like what u get from a freezer bag), mac n cheese was basic, and the bbq jerk jackfruit wasn’t bbq jerk it was sweet and sour? i don’t even like sweet and sour otherwise i wouldn’t have ordered the jackfruit… everything was so mid — apart from the drink, jerk sauce off the one wing which wasn’t bone dry and plantain just cos it’s plantain i honestly feel bad writing this review because lady seems nice and is working in there on her own but i went with this place after work due to the 5* reviews for a meal i’d been dying for all day due to bursting hunger pain plus i fancied a caribbean hadn’t had one in ages and i got charged £20 for it, like not being rude but i woulda cooked myself a better meal at home for way less or gone elsewhere — so not to mislead myself again w 5* reviews but no ty.
