My favourite restaurant in Chesham!

Fantastic food, ambiance and welcome. Our favourite restaurant in Chesham in centre of town. Best Thai food we’ve had in Britain and great to see this Thai restaurant in capable hands after some years of not so good ownership. The Thailand race is the most welcoming in the world and this a great example of that. Genuinely happy to see you and make your experience the best possible. The maitre D lady best I’ve experienced in over 60 years of restaurant visits which is saying something. Thank God we let the Thais into this country so we could have some decent food!! One week’s wages here would probably feed a Thai family for years back home. And they don’t poison you with aluminium cookware like many Indian and Pakistani restaurants or outlets. It’s a safe house in a sea of imperfection. Thailand is Buddhist and it shows. Beautiful Buddha decorations and mind set. Gotama Buddha was the best example of spirituality and teachings on this planet. No misogyny as Thais love women unlike Pakistan and the likes of Iran and Afghanistan

Best food I’ve tried so far around Buckinghamshire very quick delivery service from Mo a very polite delivery man food was still piping hot 10/10

The food is very small portions for the price and didn't like sticky rice suggestion with steak!! Poor choice of drinks and over priced.

We love this restaurant, firstly because it's a local spot, and secondly because the atmosphere is so relaxed and welcoming. The staff are incredibly accommodating and friendly, making it hard not to return. What I appreciate most is how they cater to my fussy toddler— they happily prepare a simple plate of plain noodles, which she eats every time. The level of accommodation is fantastic. The prices are reasonable and affordable. We've visited several times and will definitely be coming back.

Weeping Tiger steak barely edible. Very tough meat, if it had been served in the restaurant I would have sent it back. I’ve been ordering it for years but will never order again.

This is my first time here. I am so so impressed and happy with the foods and service.

Absolutely lush food as usual. My husband had the rice noodles with beef and I had the pad thai with tofu.

Did not book. Walked in on a Saturday night and could not have been made more welcome. Fast and friendly service and great food. Recommended.

Food is mediocre. On the plus side, the owner’s son will deal drugs to you outside their house on 27 Broadlands Avenue. The owners of the restaurant don’t seem to mind this and must be laundering his profits as they own two Porsches.

Order arrived a bit earlier which was great, and food was top notch!

Coffee mediocre, waitress service warm and helpful, seat by window straightaway, sizzling tiger beef dish totally exquisite!

If I would have wanted what was esencially a microwaved ready meal , I would have gone to the supermarket. It was awrfull. Nuf said.

Some time ago I just to be a chef,working in oriental cuisine.From my experience I have to say,that nothing in my order was actually inspired by Thailand.Food was definitely not worth the money.Everything was a bit tasteless.Broccoli was undercooked,hard and crunchy,pakchoi was made absolutely wrong,sweeming in water with a tiny bit of oyster sauce (that dish, when made properly, taste fantastic)...Great disappointment,and definitely my last order from you...

Having travelled extensively through Southeast Asia and spent plenty of happy times in Thailand this place really does put a smile on my face every time we eat here. Authentic flavours and lovely staff. By far the best Thai restaurant in the area.

Authentic Thai food from the eyes of an Asian. Sisa, the Thai waitress, was very helpful on recommending delicious food. Definitely come back to try more dishes soon.

Nice food. I felt like I’m back to Asia for a while. The flavour and noodle texture for Pad Thai is perfect, just that lack of some fiery burnt taste.

Genuinely one of the most amazing restaurants I have ever been to. The decor and atmosphere of the dining area is fantastic and something that I would expect from a fancy restaurant from central London. The service is second to none, all of the staff that I have interacted with have been remarkably friendly each time I have come and been nothing but helpful. Lastly, the food is absolutely outstanding, I have tried a number of dishes from this restaurant and each time they have delivered above and beyond. I wish nothing but success for Jasmine Thai Kitchen and highly recommend it more than any other location in Chesham. I'd even say that it's worth coming so far out of London just to dine here.

Delicious food and quick delivery time

The order was delivered on time and the food was well packaged and hot. All the dishes were very tasty but even the dishes marked spicy were very mild.

Pretty good food, especially the beef curry. Some options aren’t good, like the chili sauce for the crispy fish. The Pad Thai was good but not the best thing here. One thing though, the portion sizes aren’t very big so if you’re a big eater, you should probably get an appetizer. Dumplings aren’t bad. Definitely ask for recommendations, that’s the best stuff, whereas the random items are worse.

My partner and I have been to this restaurant after a 6h hike, and as you can imagine we were hungry!! We went to an awkward time of the day and the restaurant was empty upon our arrival, but eventually it got lively by the time we left. We were greated from the very moment we steped foot in the restaurant by an amazing lovely chatty lady. I got the roasted duck curry which was nice and creamy and the duck tasted amazing. As a drink I got the Thai iced tea which is absolute heaven!! I am looking to purchase that at home so I can enjoy it. One things that I look out for is the cleanliness of the bathroom which was spotless. This comment might be a little weird for some, but in my experience, if a place keeps the bathroom spotless, then the kitchen is the same. Recommend this place fully!

Really tasty and good sized portions, delivered in shorter time than indicated which was great.

We ordered enough for 10 people. Everyone enjoyed the meal. The food was delivered at the time I requested. Very pleased with my order.

Came here for lunch on Saturday. It’s a bit quiet at this hour. Good selection from the lunch menu and prices are fair. Food was tasty and service was great. Will definitely come back!

Great food. Its hard to find good thai food. But Jasmine is definitely recommended. Staff is polite as well.

Sadly the quality of the food has gone down. Has there been a chef change? I am not sure. The green curry was almost watered down and bland. The salad was extremely underwhelming for such a high price, and was so hot that no other flavours could come through. It makes me think there is a reason so much spice would be used on seafood. The service was slow and rambling. I appreciate people have off days, which is why it's not one star. But i won't be returning. For the same price, the quality you can get from a short train journey into London, is quite drastic.

Order placed and confirmed by restaurant straight away. Food was delivered much earlier than expected for a Friday evening. The dishes we ordered were okay. I had to reheat the pad thai as it wasn’t very hot.

Very quick delivery but bland food with not much spice or flavour. Glad I picked spicy pad Thai (I just got given some chilli flakes) as the non-spicy just tasted of peanuts. I would not recommend as a Thai restaurant.

When food comes in plastic containers & arrives 45 mins early, it's been microwaved, which means its not fresh. The curry was watery & charging £6.50 for 6 mini spring rolls no bigger than my little finger is disgusting!!!!

Delivered really quickly, most the food was fine but the Beef in the Massaman was very dry and so I didn’t eat the beef. The Flavours of the curry were great though so I would probably try it again.

Our 1st visit here and definitely not our last. The food was top notch. Full of flavour and the right amount of heat. Ambiance was just right a d very comfortable.

I would give a 0 if I could. I Ordered online for collection and the food I got was horrible. I ordered the crispy fish with sweet and sour sauce dish, jasmine rice, green curry, fried rice and the fried sea food dish. Firstly, there was no fish, all I got was crispy fried dough. Secondly, the jasmine rice was undercooked. Thirdly, the fried sea food dish had hardly any sea food in it. This place used to be the best around, but I their standards have gone down. I had to come back with an edit because since consuming the food from this place we have all got food poisoning.

Great atmosphere, very fair prices and unparalleled service. They filled my teapot again without me even needing to ask!

Went there after a Thai massage session with the wife. The lady who welcome us was very accommodating and you can feel the warmth in her smile. The place looks contemporary but has that ethnic feel and touch of Thailand. Food was very yummy, they would accommodate your palate according to you liking from mild to very spicy as the Thai's would have it

What a gem to have in Chesham. Our favourite takeaway, the Massaman is so delicious and savoury, Thai red curry best ever, and always find something exciting to have as a starter, special or side.

I have both gone and had takeaways from Jasmine Kitchen for many years and always liked their food but this takeaway wasn’t just bad it was absolutely disgusting Zero flavour and a dish that says rice noodles, wasn’t. Terrible customer service, rude staff when I called them. Driver just left the delivery outside without texting or calling me. My TV wasn’t nor did I have my earphones in either, as I was waiting for the order. The customer house myself in the situation was right and they didn’t give a damn. So I will never be ordering takeaway from them again. It’s such a shame because I’m pretty sure they used to do Thai food at the Queens head at the time it was very good. So what the hell is happened? I rang them up the second time and the same guy answer the phone. He was again very rude to me and he put the phone down on me twice both on the first and second phone call. The guy did accuse me of being rude and yes I was rude in my reply return to his and quite frankly disrespectful and rude way he woke to me first. They fired the first shot! if you don’t want customers to be rude back don’t be damned rude to your customers. Bearing in mind, they knew my address, so it wasn’t as if I was going to put myself on offer. I had a chest infection I wanted a decent time meal and one beer to celebrate the New Year. I was not going to stand outside for 20 minutes waiting for my food. All I wanted was a Thai curry and one beer to celebrate the New Year, which is all expected to get not to be treated with such disrespect. I almost brought a Domino’s Pizza instead and that is exactly what I will do next time, I won’t bother with this business again! Disgraceful!

Mixed starters were cold and the both prawn starters uncooked/mushy so didn’t eat. Satay chicken, gyozas and money bags were fine. Really unusual to be bad, assume because it would be a busy night. Normally the starters are lovely. Our Main courses of prawn pad Thai and beef masaman curry were very nice.

The service was good. Not very expensive. The atmosphere is also great for dining in. The food could have been better. Nothing particular to complain about, probably it did not get along with my taste bud properly. Others might like it more.

Very, very disappointing. All the starters were clearly frozen, the vegetables in the main course were frozen (and crinkle cut!), the green thai curry was seriously watery and the beef so chewy as to be virtually inedible. As for the 'crispy fried duck'.. oily, uncrispy, inedible.
