First of all, Jasmine Inn is not a restaurant, it's a takeaway that does deliveries too. This is my local Chinese takeaway and for a long time I avoided it because of negative reviews on here but I wish I had ignored them. I love this wee hidden gem now and I haven't had a bad meal from them. Fair enough, the curry sauce isn't as spicy as some others but they ask you to request extra spices if you like it more hot. They do great crispy chicken wings and ribs, their satay sauces (there's 2 types) are so tasty and one is especially 'peanutty', and even their chips are fried to perfection. Give them a try, and if you want extra sauce with your ribs or satay, don't moan on here, ask the lady at the end of the phone before you finish ordering! Putting a nasty review on websites for one meal that didn't meet your standards is harsh, it can cost people their business!

Peking Ribs burnt and very dry. Sweet and sour chicken Cantonese style nothing sweet about it. Really disappointed don't understand why people gave it 5 Stars. Certainly won't be going back there

This is a Chinese takeaway. The food is really tasty and reasonably priced. They’re very good at fried items and appetisers such as ribs. Their Malaysian satay and curry are my favourites

This chinese reminds me of old school Chinese food... when you were younger and you loved getting a Chinese and how good it tasted. Brings back many good memories and just how good it tasted back in the day. Quick delivery too and great customer service.... bif of a wee hidden gem 💎

Having had a number of good meals in the past, I was very disappointed about the quality of food delivered to us tonight. Both main courses (Scheswan chicken and beef in a black been sauce were very bland and tasteless - so much so that neither my partner nor myself ate much of what was delivered. Such a shame - we'll be ordering from elsewhere in future.

Been coming here every weekend now for nearly 2 years (apart from a small break during lockdown!) We missed it so much we got a delivery preordered for around 8.30 on a Sunday night. The driver is very punctual and the food arrives nice and hot. We love the food especially the curry and sweet chilli chicken. Definitely worth a visit to give it a try :)

Have to say I reluctantly tried this Chinese as my usual place is too busy and the service has gone downhill. I have to admit I was pleasantly surprised as could not fault the food and service we got. Chicken fried rice, chips, curry sauce, sweet and sour chicken, chilli chicken all delicious, good quality, excellent prices and a fast service. As we get (and look forward to) our Chinese every Saturday night, this is now going to become our new regular place.

I've tried most of the Chinese takeaways in East Kilbride. But Jasmin inn is still my favourite one. I do like the curry in some of the other takeaways. But overall, Jasmin inn does the best meals. I love their pan fried chicken dishes and my current favourite is the salt and pepper Munchie box. I've noticed recently that the portion sizes have got bigger as I agree with reviewers who said that their portion sizes were a bit on the small side in the past. Good to know they're listening to customers.

Honestly the worst take away I've ever had. Salt and Chilli chips were just heavily salted chips, curry sauce wasnt curry sauce, tasteless and watery, and the spare ribs with BBQ sauce were charred to a crisp with a tiny amount of sauce. Really dark fried rice which usually means its tasty - afraid not, tasteless and didnt even fill the small tub. Also, just as a heads up, they also dont take cards, only cash and no cash machine anywhere near. Tried this place twice now (hoping that the first time was a one off about a year ago) and will never make the mistake again. See people complain about the portion sizes and its is true but the food is reason im writing this. Decent prawn crackers though

Sunday March 12th 2017 & I'm in the mood for a curry. Now I know Jasmin Inn make a brilliant curry but I'm in two minds due to the poor portions of their extra side dishes (Mainly the prawn crackers & additional curry sauce). I decide to order, only my second order from Jasmin Inn in 2017 & first since January 2017 which I reviewed previously. I ordered a Breast of Chicken Curry (Chopped) & made Hot (Extra Spicy) A Large Fried Rice An Extra Curry Sauce Prawn Crackers Total cost £11. The breast of chicken curry & fried rice when dished up & tasted were absolutely superb! I'm going to go as far as to say 5*. Again the let down for Jasmin Inn is the extra side portions of Curry Sauce & Prawn Crackers. I mean they are charging around the same price as other Chinese takeaway restaurants in East Kilbride yet their side portions have to rate as the smallest, meagre in fact. If it wasn't for the Jasmin Inn being so stingy with the extra portion sizes, I personally would order a lot more from them. As it is, the food is fresh, great tasting & really hits the spot. As said, 5* but the smallest bag of Prawn Crackers in East Kilbride & a tiny extra portion of Curry Sauce that between them add almost £4 to the price of a Chicken Curry really does put me off. Come on Jasmin Inn, bigger portion sizes........ please.

I have previously reviewed Jasmin Inn Chinese Restaurant & given it full marks but it now deserves a more recent review. Sunday January 15th 2017. I'm sat parked up in East Kilbride Village which everyone knows in East Kilbride to be takeaway central. You've got your pick of most of the Chinese/Indian restaurants. Despite this, I decide to phone Jasmin Inn for a takeaway order. Basically I'm deciding to travel out the way a bit to give them an order as the food before has been excellent. I ordered 1x Breast Of Hot Chicken Curry (Chopped), 1x Large Fried Rice, 1x Large Curry Sauce & a Portion Of Prawn Crackers. 15 minutes collection time I was told. Perfect, by the time I have driven from East Kilbride Village to Whitehills where Jasmin Inn is, it will be ready. £11.50 I got charged when I got there. I'm sure for the same order last time it was £10.80, but hey it's January. Traditionally all the Chinese Takeaway Restaurants put their prices up just after Christmas then complain when they hardly get any trade. Got it home & so far so good. Pipping hot & can see all the items in bag. Go to plate it up. Large fried rice divided between two. The normal size fried rice just isn't enough for two. Open the breast of hot chicken curry & I must have got 6 small bits of chicken in between loads of onions & odds & ends of chicken that you would be doing well to call pieces of chicken they were so tiny. Anyway dished it up, poured over the sauce & decided to divide up the prawn crackers. Jasmin Inn have to be given the award of the most stingiest Chinese Takeaway Restaurant in East Kilbride for the size of the portion of Prawn Crackers. It was tiny. Shocking in fact. Lucky there was 10 Prawn Crackers in the bag & when shared between two people we were lucky to taste any. The Prawn Cracker bag even looks shocking before you dare take a look inside. It was a damn shame too. For what I did taste Chicken wise, food wise it was excellent. Had I been given a fair portion I would have been writing a 5* review again for Jasmin Inn. Sadly I can't give 5 stars for the quantity of food received. Needs a fairer portion of chicken, a more substantial bag of prawn crackers, especially when they are nearly £2 a bag. Bigger prawn crackers bags can be had in the supermarket for 75p so despite the food tasted being brilliant I feel ripped off. Don't know if I will travel out my way & return to Jasmin Inn again. Shame as the foods nice too!

Decided to try the Jasmin Inn East Kilbride again recently after not having ordered in a few years. Well, last night (September 3rd) was my second order in recent weeks & by that, you can gather the quality of the food was superb! The staff at Jasmin Inn actually attentively listen & repeat back your order to you on the phone. My previous two collection orders have deviated from the menu on Jasmin Inn but the staff have had no problem in ensuring my requests were met. I ordered, breast of chicken curry (chopped). I asked for this to be made extra spicy which isn't an option on the menu. Large curry sauce in long foil container. Again not an option on the menu. Large fried rice. Not an option on menu surprisingly. Prawn crackers. All requests were not a problem & for a small additional reasonable charge were met to my satisfaction. Breast of chicken was one one of the most tender breasts of chicken I have enjoyed from a Chinese restaurant in East Kilbride for some time. Curry sauce with added spice had a reasonable kick to it compared to the standard curry sauce & large fried rice was shared with someone else was fresh & tasty. Prawn crackers were fresh & portion size good. Would I recommend Jasmin Inn being somewhat a curry fan? You bet. In my opinion it might not be the first restaurant you think of when ordering a Chinese, but of late it's certainly been one of my favourites & well worth going a little out of the way for. Good portions, great value. Reasonably priced, attentive staff & it's always piping hot. What more can you ask for? Try Jasmin Inn. You won't be disappointed.

Me and my family use the Jasmin Inn regularly and can honestly say that their food is amazing. My favourite chinese dish is salt and pepper chicken and have tried practically every East Kilbride Chinese takeaway's version of this. The Jasmin Inn's salt and pepper chicken is by far the best..just the right amount of chilli and seasoning in it. We also love their range of pan fried dishes cooked in a choice of different sauces. Oh and they're also very reasonably priced. Highly recommended.
