Jasmine Chinese Takeaway in Epping Forest

Food is nice BUT dont get caught by their prices, if you look at the menu on the website it is badly out of date. When I phoned back to question the price 20% more than advertise they said they dont use the website any more, they dont have access and cant take it down!!!!!!!!!! Made the meal disappointing because it was much more than we expected

We have lived in the area for 14 years and have tried all of the chinese takeaways within a reasonable distance. This is, in our opinion, the best one, but still only just above average in the scheme of things. There's nothing particularly bad about it in our experience, but it's just...average, military medium, uninspiring. They do use real chicken though! In our experience, pretty much every other chinese takeaway in the are uses those horrible rubbery pre-formed chicken bits.

Always quick to deliver. The new ish owner has zero customer service skills. My curry sauce was clearly microwaved for too long as the carton started to collapse. When I called, he said "don't call again" When I told a friend, who is a business owner next door to them. I was told that the hygiene is non existent due to rats etc running around. Shame...

We went to get a take away on Saturday evening, wanted to try a new restaurant, and we chose Jasmine Chinese take away. Firstly, I have mentioned that I am celiac and if I can have rice Noodles instead, but the lady who took my order, didn't even know what gluten means. I think all staff there should really be aware of all allergens.I have ordered prawns with rice Noodles. When we got home and opened the containers, there was 90% noodles and 10% meat. That is quite disappointing. Not to mention that my partner that had chicken Noodles, had food poisoning after eating this meal! This was the first time and last time we have tried this local Chinese restaurant. I cannot recommend this restaurant.

Lovely food, fantastic price and wonderful service. Couldn't reccomend better chinese or takeaway in the area.

Rude woman on the phone especially for a £61 pound order. Food arrived stone cold no taste literally everything was burnt even the chow main avoid this place at all costs

We had never ordered from here before, so thought we would try it. Everything turned up cold the spring onions & cucumber for the duck- were perfect. Will never order again...horrible 😒

Bought a take away for family on 29th for my birthday again Chow mein not right,I order chicken chow mien and I got over cooked chow mein with bits of pork and shrimp it tasted bad and if someone who was allergic to seafood had eaten it god knows what could have happen.I used to love this place lately they are slipping

Got a delivery last night, but it was disappoint. The smoked shredded chicken was hard and chewy. Everything was cold. Wont be ordering from there again.

The food was lovely, good delivery time, well priced, nice and friendly staff. Highly reccomnded. One of the best takeways around.

We stopped about 2 years ago as it wasntvgreat but thought we would have another go about a year ago and I take back all the bad it's amazing and everytime it gets better a d better not greasy good portions just really good, my mum and dad have recently moved and they cant find a good Chinese they have tried about 4 they are considering driving 2 house to come to us just for a Chinese it's that good really friendly to

Consistently good, one of our regulars for years, great food and fast friendly service. The salt and chilli in particular is amazing!

Always order from here and rarely been disappointed, however this time round the food was under poor, chow mein was way over salty, crispy beef was pale as anything, resembled nothing close to beef and had absolutely no chilli sauce!! Would have called but they will never replace or refund poor orders

I went into Jasmine to order and I specifically said vegetarian sweetcorn soup (as I don’t eat meat) and the guy laughed saying ‘yes just sweetcorn soup!’ When I got home my soup had chicken in it!!! I had to drive back to collect a new soup, he apologised and I said ru going to refund me, he rolled his eyes and said you needed to bring back the other soup!!! I said don’t worry about it and left. When I get home I think my soup had crab meat in it. My partner said his food was horrible so we threw it away! Will not be going back there!!! Awful.

Food is very decent and have been a customer for years. However today they got an order wrong, putting Chicken instead of King Prawn inside the Thai curry. They refused to send a new one and was adamant that I ordered chicken - I HAVE NEVER ORDERED CHICKEN THAI CURRY EVER.

Cartons were all half full, quality of food gone way down hill will def not use again, rang to discuses issue they were not interested once had my money

The first few times I used this takeaway the food was really good, but lately the quality has gone down hill. Tonight the salt and chilli ribs had no chill and very little salt, the chicken satay sauce was absolutely disgusting - It was very greasy with a lump of something awful in the bottom. I called the restaurant to ask why it was so bad and was told that is how the satay sauce is! Sadly to say I won’t be going back

Great Chinese best one I've had tried a few in the area and this is by far best hands down lots of meat good value for money won't be using another Chinese again

After moving into the area a couple of months ago,we struggled to find a Chinese that we enjoyed and good value for money!!! I wish we came here first!!!The food is unreal,the prices are amazing and the staff are the most loveliest people I've ever ever come across,such a friendly ,polite and caring bunch,always guaranteed a good chat when you come in here, won't go anywhere else for our chinese now!!

Once again a marvellous meal lots of meat and prawns great quality they never fail best Chinese in Essex

Jasmine is one of 4 local Chinese takeaways, it has a extensive menu to suit all tastes. I would recommend the Pork in Blackbean sauce. Rice containers will serve 2-3 people overall tasty and good value.

Not evan a understatement probaly the worst takeaway ive ever had to start with the shredded beef and been microwaved the satay sauce and lumps in absolute filth used to always use jasmin will never use again i couldnt stress enough how bad it is please dont waste your money

Hi i copped a quick takeaway on Sunday had shredded beef, Singapore noodles, special rice with a curry sauce thrown in.as always it was lovely and quick service

I do like this chinese, but feel exasperated that they constantly miss off items, last night will be the last time I use them due to this as reimbursing the next time is just not acceptable.

Tuvimos una comida para llevar unas cuantas veces desde aquí y siempre ha sido muy bueno. Menú muy variado, aunque sin duda se pegan a los chinos y no los tailandeses como China es lo que están bien. Comida siempre muy sabroso y fresco. Nunca tuvimos que esperar más de 15 minutos de cuando la orden se ha efectuado.

My first time ordering from this Chinese and it was fab food arrive quickly and was hot and tastey large portion sizes and was given free spring rolls

Pero todavía es bueno y tiene el mejor pollo y - el maíz sopa! Me encanta que nunca es grasienta, nunca soja salsa marrón - siempre frescos y perfectamente preparado. Son populares, así que espera 45 minutos de tiempo de entrega al menos - una hora en los fines de semana, pero creo que vale la pena. Mi petición es que por favor reformarla pronto - tanto el interior como el exterior de la parte trasera de la tienda - parece un condemnable riesgos a la salud. En algún momento pronto, me hará girarse.

Whilst staying at a hotel that had no room service and no takeaways I decided to ask the hotel if they had any takeaways that would deliver! Wrong move! After I placed the order (to a very confused young lady) the takeaway said my delivery would be 35-45 minutes and they would pass my number on to the driver and he would give me a ring when he got there. After 1hour and 15 minutes I decided to give them a call to see where it was, they said the car had been dispatched and was just around the corner! So I went out to the front of the hotel to wait for him. 30 minutes longer and still no sign! I rang back and the girl said she will ring to see where he was even though she told me earlier he was just around the corner! In the background of this call was shouting and screaming between the manager and obviously other disappointed customers! I was put on to him by accident as he obviously thought I was one of his drivers as he sweared irately down the phone at me!! After another 30 minutes waiting the driver finally turned up giving me the excuse his sat nav doesn't work round here ( I was told he had my number and if he couldn't find it he would call me - he didn't)! By the way the hotel is joined on to the excel centre in London! Very very obvious! Soggy prawn crackers, cold soup, soggy batter, flavourless chicken and warm diet coke! Please nobody use this place! A joke from start to finish!

Loved the Chinese from this place. They served the best Chinese in the area. My favourite dish is Kung po chicken and chicken in salt and chilli. The dish is in a very valuable price and size. I always recommend this place to all my friends and family.
