Amazing mouth watering food and lovely staff would definitly recommend a trip

6 of us went for a meal. Food was excellent and very tasty. Would have been 5 star but for the fact when the bill arrived 2 cokes added we never ordered. The women at the bar was quite argumentative and adamant we did. Explained we'd only had beers and 1 blackcurrant and soda. They did then change the bill, took the cokes off and charged £3.75 for soda water and wasn't even a pint - scandalous in my opinion, considering a coke is £3.50. Also be cautious with poppadoms and dips at start as they cost nearly £30 for 6 of us. Would I go back - yes.

Absolutely fantastic restaurant. Working down here with the lads and found this at the end of our street. Food was amazing and the service was fantastic. Will be returning to Cardiff in a few months and will definitely be trying this place again

I was extremely disappointed with my recent meal at this place. The food arrived lukewarm and was clearly undercooked, with bland flavors that lacked any depth. The service was equally lackluster, with our staff seemingly uninterested in addressing our about the meal. Overall, a very poor dining experience that left me feeling like I had wasted my money and time.

Just visited and had a beautiful meal. Staff are welcoming and really helpful. Nothing is too much trouble. First visit but won't be the last. Food absolutely fantastic piping hot and so fresh.Thank you so much.

First time ordering from this restaurant and i must say the food was very fresh and delicous, my daughter is a vegitarian and said it was the best vegetable curry she's had there was a great variety of vegetables and plenty of them. 😊 TY

this was the worst curry I have ever eaten. it was a lamb biriyani, it tasted grainy like the spices haven't been cooked out, the lamb was just ok, the nan bread was dire, it was hot but no taste to it. it was folded up and when opened it was dead like someone had shot it and all the life was taken out of it. I hope they take notice because if they can't cook a good biriyani, a rice dish, they should close their doors and say goodbye.

very disappointed with the food as it arrived over an hour late, it was cold, there was a couple of items missing. this is the second time it has happened from there. I understand they are busy but quick enough to take your money. I lost £9.35 with the items missing, I won't get back .

I have ordered from Jashan many times and it has been my go-to place for curry in Cardiff, but that will no longer be the case. Tonight I placed an order at 18:07 and received confirmation of that order. A minute later I received another email stating there would be a delay and pickup would be at 19:50-20:05. Fair enough, it's New Years eve, probably busier than usual. No other communication was received from Jashan. We turned up to collect our order at the given time slot, waited for around 20 minutes before even being able to speak to someone and then they told us the order is cancelled and gave a refund in cash. I paid by card, I expect my refunds by the same payment method, it is awkward for me to pay in cash so this is just another inconvenience Jashan have caused me tonight. Telling me my order is cancelled and refunding me in cash after I have turned up to collect it and making me wait an extra 20 minutes from the collection slot is just not good enough. Barely an apology received, just excuses.

Chicken was not cooked it was raw When pointed this out to the owner of the restaurant he insisted it was cooked even though the chicken was pink inside . Would not recommend eating there as undercooked chicken can make you very ill

We booked late and were surprised to get a table on Saturday night at 9.15pm as we had read that Jasheen had just won the Best Curry House in Wales award so we thought we would give it a try. The food was excellent as was the friendly service. Some different and interesting items on the menu. Will definitely visit again.

The food is always great from Jashaan. Always tasty and hot when arriving. We always order our Indian food from here. The delivery was unfortunately 25 minutes late but it was still hot when arrived so no issues.

Food was pretty late, guy at the restaurant seemed pleasant enough but delivery driver was pretty rude, slammed our gate on the way back to his car. Veg food was okay, meat dishes were not great.

Food from take away was ok but nothing special. If you give them your phone number expect to be sent spam text messages which you can’t opt out of.

This use to be my favourite place to eat so ordered a takeaway but was very disappointed the food was tasteless and rice was very watery ordered garlic chilli chicken but might as well have given us a hot water with rice totally no taste at all no spices or anything even ordered the kids a tikka masala but was pretty much the same curry as mine 40 pound down the drain as all went in the bin very disappointed will not be eating here again

I ordered delivery. Pretty disappointed tbh. The food was 15 mins outside the delivery window, 45 mins late from the start of the window. The butter chicken was pretty bland and runny, probably needs more coconut or something to thicken it up a bit and a bit oily which was kinda gross because you could see the grease dripping out as you poured it. Same with the keema naan, soggy and oily inside and bland. Rice was fine but it's rice, you can't really mess that up. Starter was ok but again nothing special. I probably won't order again. Sorry it's just I've had much better Indian food than this and this wasn't worth the £20 I paid for it.

Rude on the phone to start with. Ordered a king prAwn curry and was given small prawns. (Cut really small). Lacking salt. Spicy mint sauce which is weird. Nan bread , onion chutney, popadoms and rice was great tho.

I have ordered from Jashaan fairly regularly over the last few years but, unfortunately, standards have been slipping and I probably wouldn't order again after the last takeaway. The food arrived quickly, but it was lukewarm at best. The poppadom was half cooked and inedible. Keema naan was great and had lots of filling, but the curry was bland at best. Overall, it was a poor meal and we were very disappointed.

Missing things from our order again bread doughie currys filled with onions and peppers to make it look bigger so they can put less meat in will never order from here again used to be a regular but stopped after it was always turning up tasteing tasteless and things missing thought ide give it one last try and im glad i did caise now i will never order from them again

Wow! Wow! Wow! Jashaan was a perfect experience from start to finish. The place is beautifully decorated with modern interior, well spaced out, comfortable and a lovely ambience. Cleanliness 10/10.👌 With so many delicious dishes to choose from it was no trouble for the waiter to talk us through everything and help us decide. The food was absolutely amazing, so fresh and tasty, high quality meat and generous portions. The staff where so kind and they made such a fuss of my daughter who is 6. We had a wonderful night and I would say hand on heart this is the best Indian around.

Wow!! This was superb! Although I maybe shouldn’t have asked for the Vindaloo to be “very hot” in the customer notes. I’m in a world of pain right now lol. But I loved every single bite. Best takeaway delivery, food is always hot and incredibly tasty despite living 3 miles away!!

Visited at 1900 on a Saturday for a pre-booked sit down meal for 12 (two people dropped out due to covid). Made the reservation via Kukd, which was accepted pretty quickly by the restaurant at the begging of April. However, three days prior to the meal, I was contacted by the restaurant requesting a £10 deposit per person. Not a big issue, but would've been nice to be advised at the time of the booking that I'd have to pay a deposit. To the night of the meal. Wow! Place can easily accomodate a fair few people and parties at the same time. Orders for food and drinks were taken within 10-15 minutes of being seated. A large batch of poppadums and chutneys were served quickly. Everyone had a starter and seeing what people were getting as well as the presentation of some starters shows that the restaurant want to make things pop! Mains were next. This is where we unfortunately had a few hiccups with some of the people not getting their mains or rice, and had to wait quite a while for these to be brought, even though the staff were made aware that food orders were missing. It didn't help as the staff had to be reminded again, so some of the party were waiting at least 20 minutes for the dishes to be served, thus slightly dampening the night. Overall, the presentation and staff were great and efficient (apart from the one issue). Prices were average for an Indian restaurant and not overpriced. Everybody enjoyed their meals and concluded that they'd come back to this restaurant again.

Disgusting meal went in the bin never again

We visited on Saturday and this place is truly exceptional. We have been to some exceptional Indians across Europe and both the wife and I agreed that this one was the best we've been too. The food was really exceptional, well presented and very very flavoursome. The staff were incredible. If you get a jug of water on the table they will recognise when your glass is running low and pour for you and get another jug of water if you're running low. They were all very helpful, attentive and friendly. It made for a very special meal. If you're in Cardiff city central and want an Indian, walk 25 mins to this special gem, it's definitely worth it. It does get busy though, so book in advance to avoid disappointment. Finally, thank you to all the staff and to the guy who recommended the Naga curry. I thought it would be too spicy and at half spice it was spot on. Extremely tasty too. We are from Mumbles and we will be making a special trip once a month to this lovely Indian restaurant.

My boyfriend and I went to Jashaan's for Valentine's Day and had an amazing time. The food was extremely delicious and the service was one of the best I've ever experienced. The staff clearly care for the customers which really enhanced our experience. Would highly recommend for great dining.

Unreal food and service. We decided to go for a hungover banquet on the Thursday and it did not disappoint. Sensational curry and great value for money. I would recommend for anyone looking for good quality and quantity of food. I will definitely be returning!

Second time ordering and both times the food has been amazing. Ordered myself a lamb curry which was a proper Indian curry, nice and thick and so tasty. The lamb melted in your mouth. Rice cooked perfectly. Had a garlic nan which was so fresh and not to overpowering and the nan was beautiful and fresh. Had meat samosa which again were crispy, delicious and fresh. Will be my go to from now on. Thank you for the amazing food.

I would like to praise this restaurant, firstly for the warm welcome and outstanding level of customer service. The staff were so attentive, checking the food was okay and providing a very friendly service. I eat all types of food, but have a particular soft spot for Indian food. The standards were high, very clean and tasty, similar to some of the great Indian restaurants in West London where I am based. The ambiance was nice, authentic music and the restaurant was very clean. Thank you, I will come again when next in Cardiff.

Amazing food and very good portions! A selection of classics and chef's recommendations that were all delicious! House wine was also very good value for money. The staff are also very helpful and friendly. Definitely coming back and would full heartedly recommend!

Poor food, lacking spice and taste. The mix grill - had more veg than meat, the use of massive beef tomatoes to fill out the grill feels like a bit of a con. The 'Special' Hariyali Fish was terrible - 2 breaded cooked from frozen fish fillets between a dry spinach and curry mix - no spice or seasoning. We offered some constructive criticisms over this dish but was rudely dismissed. The butter chicken came with a curdled cream layer on top. Completely ruined that dish. The 'tandoori roti' that was ordered was just was a plain, very thick and chewy naan bread. I'd also argue its not really an Indian restaurant as it advertises - the menu is missing quite a lot of authentic Indian dishes/drinks/desserts that you would normally expect. Overall 1.5/5. The poppadum's and dips were nice.

First time visiting and wow! Firstly, the staff are wonderful, so friendly and helpful, it makes a massive difference. Secondly, the food was outstanding. Best Indian cuisine I have tried. Four of us were visiting for a birthday meal, we enjoyed the sharing starter between 4; it was tasty, plentiful and beautifully arranged on the platter. For main I enjoyed the prawn biryani, and the ang gohst, with garlic naan and chips. It was delicious, big portions and thoroughly enjoyable. Couldn't finish it all so we had take away boxes for the left overs. The servers timed everything perfectly, we had a leisurely meal, but we're still well attended. I would definitely recommend, and would return.

Curry is almost worth waiting for!! starters not so much! Customer service when ringing through was rude waiting over 1 and half hours !! 90p for a poppadom mashed up on delivery very disappointing. Ordered the lamb samosas only had 2 tiny ones for £4 🙄
