Jamms in Derry

My mum and I called today to have a quick bite to eat and where greeted by he loveliest staff member who we later found out was called Loretta. From the moment we arrived she couldn’t have been more helpful, nothing was a bother. It was very refreshing to be greeted and treated in such a friendly manner. well Done Loretta! We will be back!

We had lunch here and found it to be a good cafe , good food and clean. The food service was quick and the prices reasonable.

Cups dirty. Staff were not pleasant and were more interested in their own private conversation. Had to ask 3 times to get the toast for my breakfast. 4 or 5 lots had went out to people that ordered after we ordered. No apology for the wait and toast was basically thrown on the table. I would maybe of understood the mix up if the cafe had been busy but it wasn't. Having experience working in the same environment, I understand what is required to provide a good service and this was not it.

Had a wonderful turkey and ham dinner here today for 8.95. I was really impressed at the high quality of the meats and the sides, one of the nicest Christmas dinners I've had. The only disappointment was no roasties but we got chips instead . After getting the dinner plated up it was annoying to have to wait in a queue to pay behind people who were getting coffees etc made up and our dinners were getting cold. They need a better system. Friendly staff.

Couldn't fault visit. Staff from Manager down were friendly courteous and efficient. One of our party has severe food allergies ( usually a major headache to be catered for) here it was a breeze, although simple , baked potato and salad the salad was made fresh ( ensuring no cross contamination). Definitely will return when in Londonderry

Completely unrelated to the food, but on Monday night my 1yo was in Derry with her granny and friends, they ate in Jamm and after they left noticed that my wee girls dummy wasn’t with them, so they rang the cafe and asked if it was there, to which they stated it was, they asked if they could come back and collect it (they were a 5minute walk from the cafe) and the person on the phone said no twice even after my child’s granny stated they weren’t from Derry (live a good hour away). (Bare in mind the staff were still in the store). The dummy is the only one my wee girl has and that she will use and cannot be got in stores, so my wee girl had to come home without her dummy which is stressful enough as I’m sure any parent knows… and a friend had to collect the dummy the next day and come the whole way up the road (out of her way) to drop it up.

We stopped for breakfast and had a great meal. It's hard to write 100 words when I don't say allot but we enjoyed our breakfast.

We had breakfast at the restaurant on a busy Friday morning. The standard of the food was very good, cleanliness and staff were very good. As it was nearly mid-day when we arrived they had also set up for lunch and the fair on offer looked great.

Im in every day been doing so for the last few years now and if it wasn't for covid I'd been up still hope to see all of yours soon

Great quality of meals served here at very reasonable prices, the variety from is very good and always busy.

I have been in JAMMS many times its just GREAT, lovely friendly staff and so helpful the dinners are all 5 95 good food and great value, clean and bright, so this morning I went for my first breakfast 5 piece fry with coffee and toast very good as you can see in photos, I must say the owner CONNER is a great guy makes you feel welcome and nothing is to much trouble for him helpful and friendly , so thank you to all staff you are just fab. Will see you again and again.

Brilliant restaurant for home cooked food and dinner with no frills their breakfast bap is very tasty and their home made soup is just like mums.

Been to Jamm again on Saturday 14th.just love it here food lovely staff great, they are friendly and helpful and the boss A GENTLEMAN,the portions are VERY good the price VERY good and thats why lots of people love it here ,A good Christmas dinner for 5.95 and all the other dinners are the same price I have no hesitation in recommending JAMM to anyone which I have and the word back was very good will be back .hope to see you all again soon HAPPY CHRISTMAS TO ALL OF YOU.

Really well ran, fantastic food and wonderful staff. Every time I eat in here I am never disappointed. It is busy every time we eat here but you will consistently get great food and service, would recommend to anyone looking for a great place to eat.

The choice is vast and all good home cooked food - spoiled for choice. The staff are very helpful and nothing is too much trouble for them. I had the lasagna which was lovely and the portion was very good size .

Jamm not only do fantastic sit in lunches but for those of us who don't have the time to enjoy a sit in meal. Jamm offer the same quality as a take away. We stopped for lunch here on a busy Saturday. We were able to choose from a wide selection of hot food all fresh and appealing. There was something to suit every taste salads curry vegetarian it was all there. Staff were happy to explain what was available and help with making a choice. I was well pleased with my choice and I would have no hesitation in recommending Jamm to anyone looking for good fast food at reasonable prices.

If you want to feast on carbs, then this is the place to go to. The staff is friendly but the food is aimed to satisfy those who love stodge.

Ate here while in Derry on Nov 3rd, we had turkey and ham and spuds and gravy, a bargain for under 6 quid each and my partner also had a lovely slice of fresh angel cake with cream, will definately eat here again

Cheap and convenient cafe in Richmond centre. Good variety of lots of different foods, hot and cold and snacks. Staff pleasant. Love a cuppa and bun or scone here and sitting at the entrance to watch everyone going by. Good friendly cafe.

Food was okay, customer service was atrocious. The server started chatting to the person behind me about holidays and the weekend while I was halfway through giving my order. This has happened at least twice in the last couple of months. Very disappointed.

Scones here are ok but the vol au vents , pies sausage rolls etc are awfiul heated up in the microwave with tough pastry. Lots of nicer places nearby
