Jamils in Carmarthenshire

Probably the tastiest chicken tikka and shish kebab ever had. Open kitchen, food cooked fresh while you wait. Delicious. Curries look great also.

We had a takeaway this evening (for mothers day ) the food was absolutely brilliant,mixed keebab, Goa chicken ( vindaloo hot) and chicken shakuti, mushroom rice, etc. Fantastic food to the spiciness we like. Thank you Jamil's Helen & Steve

Wow Jami’s, Jamils is a very good takeaway. The food quality is excellent, and the chicken they use is quite premium. They maintain high hygiene standards in their work. Considering the current market prices of products, their menu is quite affordable, which you won’t find anywhere else.

This is the worst curry I have had for over 30 years. No taste. Only small portions. Bad service. And the onion bahji were burnt and not edible. Avoid if you can

Paid £8 for a large mixed chicken kabab. The thing is tiny and only 1 set of chicken with it. I strongly advice not go to this place. #Carmarthenshirefoodcritics

Normally just have the Chicken Tikka kebab from here (which is very good) but as we had been left disappointed by the last order of our usual restaurant we thought 'Let's give them a try' ... My word it was delicious , my wife commented it was the tastiest Chicken Tikka and my Chicken Goa Cafreal was excellent. Good enough to keep my custom and I will be ordering again. Good portion size as well.

Ordered a takeaway, was ready on time before I reached there. Food tasted great. Will visit again.

Quite possibly the worst kebab I’ve ever had. £14 for this dry meat in a naan bread. With a small bag of salad from the fridge. No choice of salad or sauces…. Z just lobbed in a bag and off you go!! Don’t go anywhere near this place!!

not as tasty as I'd hoped. ... and their printed menus are almost impossible to read, poor contrast in colours. sorry guys

Dry chicken tikka Vindaloo sauce not like the normal sauce, funny taste. Onion bhaji s not fresh very dry Will not order again Very dissatisfied

I have given 1 star as its the least I could leave Rubbish Size portions they use to be very good but have gone down hill big time A large chicken tikka kebab was more like a small at best Avoid Avoid Avoid Get your act together....... They charge more but give you less !!

Ordered ahead on food hub app for collection (they do not deliver to llwynhendy) We waited over an hour for the app to change from cooking to ready. Eventually we gave up waiting and went in, only to be told that we shouldn't listen to the app and our food had been ready for an hour. We should have come to collect 20 mins after ordering. So we ended up with cold food, as they wouldn't recook because it was considered our mistake. Would not recommend the collection option via food hub.

I'd give less than one star if I could. Food was cold, we had to microwave it to actually eat it because it wasn't even slightly warm, and the attitude of the staff was terrible. Generally just an awful service! I strongly advise going absolutely anywhere else!

I love their chicken chat garlic nan kebab 🥙. I order online and its with me in half hr. Food is always hot and very tasty.

This may only have three stars hygiene rating. But the best mixed meat kebab in Llanelli. I've tried everywhere, and the kebabs here are bang on

I’ve tried a few others but this was hands down the best I’ve had. Now I will always order from Jamil’s. I even phoned the boss to say how nice the food was. Onion bhajis was amazing. Thanks

Just bought 2 madras 2 keema Rice 1 chips and popadams if I was to say it was cracking meal I would be lieing the madras sauce was more than less tasteless chicken just had funny taste to it chips was okay popadams are tasting like they are Damp not crispy been looking forward to meal last few hours turned out Disappointment be Deleting number no more custom only bought due to previous previews better say the truth rather than Lie

Poor food, chicken tikka kebab not very nice

Madras was just sauce and bit of lamb no chilies tomatoes very bland tastless never again. 1 star only.

Dry chicken, tasteless food, poor service

Not good. First night in new house and been busy all day. Thought we would try a local takeaway. Went to Jamil's, won't bother again. Wife's korma was thin and tasteless, with overcooked chicken. I had a. Madras, I think the korma would have been as hot. Very poor Indian takeaway. If you are hungry, try somewhere else

Food was excellent. All freshly cooked and so flavourful. As I am allergic to chillies I requested my meal be free from them and they obliged without any fuss. Most definitely be ordering from here again. Many thanks for great food.

Very unhappy with the service today. They had sold me a dish that has been advertised as an English chicken and chips but I had in return a cantonese stir fried chicken and mixed herbs. They wouldn't let me change the dish or have a refund or voucher as compensation.
