They should be ashamed for what they done I have wasted 20 minutes of my precious life and I’m the last 10 days of Ramadan which is very important and was hoping to get my mojito and I seen at least 10 people order after me and they still received their order before mine

Fantastic food and place, and is always the spot to go to for us.

Simple and effective desserts but nothing amazing. That's not me complaining at all, just there are lots of dessert places nearby so plenty of choices available.

this place is AMAZING!! 10/10 service and food. the brothers are always very polite and always accommodate to your needs. the people who leave bad reviews about the customer service must be really miserable and salty because the brothers are always so welcoming and always provide the best desserts. I've been coming here for a while and the desserts never disappoint. I recommend the banoffee crepe and brownie sundae. also their Madagascan vanilla icecream is delicious. definitely the best dessert place.

THE place to go for waffles! Such generous helpings, and they literally melt in your mouth. They allow you to fully customise what you want, in terms of sauces and ice-creams and they have such weird and wonderful flavours (my favourite are the mojito and forest berries flavour). You can also ask them to give you the sauces separate so you can put how much you want on the waffles yourself. For a different experience, try their cinnamon and maple syrup waffles - delicious! Oh, and they also give free tap water. The seating space is generous, downstairs and upstairs, very relaxed atmosphere. All in all, this is our favourite dessert place in all of Birmingham. Forgot to mention, prices are very reasonable and customer service is excellent.

Ordered a mojito, didn’t tasted a bit like it , so thick and only tasting like a slush. For £5.50 its not worth it at all.

I recently came here with my family this week Monday evening after a very long while. I usually get waffles if it’s a dessert place and so I ordered the bonaffee peanut waffles…it came much better than I expected and really filling which is what I like or how it should be💯. Along with that, the cookie dough and ice cream was the best. Appreciate the service always🤝

Amazing desserts and a very cozy and welcoming environment, the customer service is spot on and its perfect for big families as they have upstairs seating, private booths and baby chairs. I have been coming here for years and each time i come im treated with upmost respect the deserts are spot on and their mock-tails are refreshing and everything here is very affordable and would highly recommend you pay them a visit, you wont be disappointed.

I am quite disappointed at the man who had served me alongside the quality of the cake that he had given me. I asked him what flavour the cake was and he said 'ferrero rocher' which is why I bought it. When I tried the cake at home, it had a plastic-like smell to it and it also tasted the same. The flavour was not ferrero rocher and on top of that, the taste was really off. It didn't taste chocolate-like, it was such an odd taste and smell that I had to throw it away. I have tried to call them but they don't answer. I won't be going back as I don't like to feel deceived.

I came here with my wife and son and we had a lovely experience. The apple crumble and crepes were just so lovely. The only thing I would say is it would be nice if the apple had abit more cinnamon flavour but otherwise it was 10/10 for us. Best crepes I have ever had

I usually love coming here but I’ve asked for toppings this time of Ferrero Roche on my cookie dough and they’re telling me I can only have 1 Ferrero roche even though I’m paying about £1 for it. Who the hell only gives one ferreror Roche as extra topping!! I’ve never known a dessert place to do this. Appalling! He said it’s too expensive that’s why?! Tf

Watery chocolate milkshake. Did you use any icecream in this at all? Not enjoyable so very disappointed.

Great dessert shop that is quality and affordable. Service needs improving as there is limited staff. Place is nice and cosy, cookie dough and ice creams are great. Could do with some alternative non dairy options and milks.

My new friend from dubai first time trying this waffle they're absolutely love it.

Visited here as it's supposed to be the go to place in Brum for desserts allegedly. Upon arrival I could see it was busy, mainly with youths of the female persuasion. The waiting system could do with an upgrade. Maybe hire a greeter and not solely depend on the waiter to do it all? After being shown our seats we were told to go to the till to place our order. It would've been better to place the order whilst waiting for a table to be vacant. I was told to pay up front which is fair enough but apparently they only accept cash. When I threatened to leave, a card machine had magically appeared from under the till. The desserts were ok, the Waffles were the highlight. Very filling and delicious. The Milkshake and other desserts are standard.

After long time the open jam jar dessert shop dessert are cold and test less and terrible drinks just water so bad experience about desserts in Coventry Road always better Ladypool Road .

Great dessert shop, good prices and there is a lot of variety on the menu. Its on Coventry Road so there is parking available on side roads. Been here many times and will continue to do so. It can get busy on Friday and Saturday nights so be warned

Jamjar used to be AMAZING a fee years ago and jam-packed pardon the pun. We got there at 21:00 so it wasn't late and it was empty. Service was good and desserts arrived in a timely manner. Chai Latte was average. The cookie dough, brownie and mint choc chip ice cream was agreeable but the Biscoff cheesecake left a lot to be desired and wasn't what we expected. OWNERS of JamJar please read this review and make immediate changes or it could spell trouble. 😉

Brilliant customer service was excellent

Favorite place for Milkshakes. I come here almost once a week or once every 2 weeks because I love their milkshakes. If they ever close down I'll be very sad because this is the best place for it. Their milkshakes are in jars hence the name. The jars look very unique. It's filling.

We had a lovely experience at jam jar, stuff was very helpful and attentive. We ordered apple crumble and custard for big sis it come piping hot tasted great, my little sister and I shared a flake waffle with vanilla ice cream we both enjoyed it. It was yummers 😋

Went here with my husband to have dessert 🍨and coffee. Person who's name I didn't fully get, I think he said Ahmed, made us the best dessert ever. I had such a nice waffle after a very long time. Wasn't soaked in chocolate and was perfect with my perfect cup of latte. Very much appreciated. Will defo recommend. Thankyou Ahmed

First time for everything. I come Birmingham to see some family and they recommended me to go JamJars. The desserts and service was 10/10. Highly recommended they have private booths and an upstairs. Very family friendly.

Went in as a group of 3 around 10pm and the place did not look busy with empty tables around. We were asked to sit by the waiter and had to wait around 10 minutes for him to come back. I believe he forgot about us. Once seated we had to go up to the froshnt ourselves to order and waited around 20 minutes for 2x waffles and 1x crepe. Food was nice and filling. Payment by cash only. Floor was a little slippy which is a health hazard. Personally think it was not as good as the previous times I have been, would give 3.5 stars if I could. Will give benefit of doubt this time and will try again in future.

New ice rink in small heath. Required footwear suitable for icy conditions. Food was lovely but took a while.

I will give this place a fair 5*. Decent menu, Nice layout and nice private seating to take your partner for dessert and a quickie cuddle, Even sniffing a cheeky line of coke without anyone spotting you😉

I did enjoy my dessert here, however the chai latte tasted like warm milk.

Went here with the family can't say I'm surprised it's the 5th time I've been here and every time i come it is delightful. Food was just amazing ,can't really complain. Best shop in Birmingham and the customer service is just brilliant.

Cant complain one of the beat dessert shops in the UK been about everywhere but only a few come close to it. The banana bery Crepe with a strawbery Jamjar premium shake what a combo 👌

With out no doubt one of the best dessert places in Birmingham. Always bring my family here waiters are always very friendly and desserts are always 10/10 allhumabarik. Highly recommended.

Rowdy. Used to be a frontrunner. Now feels tired every time I come and when we came this time there were a large number of teens hollering and running around. A bit of a joke really- we decided not to stay.

Very poor service, untidy tables with 60th mentality not excepting card payment i think the place is useless no quality at all!

Still living in the 90s by not accepting card payments. Walked out total waste of time.

Jam jars is like many of the desert shops out there they do cookie dough, crepes, waffle sundaes but they are great tasting and fresh with excellent customer service, I have only ever tried the cakes(strawberry and rocher cakes) and concrete cake with custard never disappointed best in brum in my opinion imly downside is they only take cash.

We ordered desserts we did enjoy them unfortunately the service was poor this was due to them being busy hence they should have more staff onboard to manage the rush

A very gooe place, I always bring my families and friends here. The stuff and and atmosphere are excellent.

It was a really nice place, we actually only went in there to use the toilet but then i bought cake and ice cream for my brother and it was delicious. And the service was really good and prices were not too high, would be better if they had menus on the tables though.

The mango mojito was lovely and was the perfect size. However, cash only??? With the prices you charge how do you expect someone to carry cash around just like that?

Good layout and has separate family/private booths. Plenty of space and friendly service. Only downside is that they don't sell ice cream cones for children to enjoy. Parking only on side roads. Recommended for family and friends.

Went yesterday with great expectations after researching dessert places in Birmingham. Lazy service. Was seated and then ignored and ended up leaving without ordering

A lovely 1st time experience in Brum! This place is good, I enjoyed my soft lotus cheesecake with Latte. Others had Sundaes & cookie dough and they all enjoyed their desserts.

Another dessert shop on Coventry Road that seems awfully narrow. Seating area is cramped however the interior decor is nice and homely. But a dessert parlour that is narrow and instructs you to order at the till rather than at your given table is a bit of a disaster logistically. Having said all that, the actual desserts are actually really nice and tasty, not too pricy and the customer service is also nice and warm. For that reason Jam Jar Desserts gets 4 stars.

Average food and very slow service

This place has gone downhill, the original staff were better. Staff are rude and can’t keep up with orders. Got our order wrong and tried to blame us for it. When the correct order finally came, the drink we ordered was missing, it never came that whole time and because it was so busy we didnt bother asking for it and just got a refund. Better off going elsewhere.

The deserts are always nice and the service is very good the guys that work here, are very friendly and helpful.

The service was incredibly slow and the staff were incompetent and rude. There was one person on till and they were very slow moving. The guy with the curly hair had no manners what so ever and told us to “pick the menus up” no please or thank you! In addition to this they tried to sit us on a table that had not been cleaned! The food was average and nothing special, please avoid this place !

Have been going to Jamjars since it opened. Great service. Boys who work there are very nice and desserts are much nicer then other pricier places. Hope it stays like that.
