Beef in black bean sauce .This was poor . Beef was chewy ,tasteless, and luke warm. Didn't finish it. Won't be going back

I love their 1/4 duck ! delicious !!! My wife love King Prawn & Chicken Chow Mein it was so tasty ! My Children love their Dim Sum Siu Mai ,Har Gao , Soup Dumpling & Pork Dumplings recently try their "New items " just order last Week .I recommend all of you should try ! Will be order again , one of my favourite Takeaway Chinese Jade City ! Very Friendly Boss & Staff !

Not sure if it has changed hands but so disappointed with our meals tonight. Had Chicken fried noodles and King Prawn fried noodles. The mushrooms were vile slimy and tasted like TCP. The chicken consistency was weird and tasteless. It all was so salty. Will not be ordering again though hubby did say his prawns were nice.

Singapore Noodles was excellent as usual

I love their Singapore noodles very much 😋They do with Char Siu, chicken, shrimp, green pepper, onion and curry sauce as well. The most important thing is “Wok Hei”. That’s exactly what I prefer, Awesome😍

In the past the food has been nice, what rhas happened. Tonight we left over half and are still hungry of it it was inedible. It tasted like dry and greasy reheated leftovers from a week ago. Shame

Chicken fried rice was as white as boiled rice no taste and bland and chicken was rubbery. Chicken curry had no taste, rubbery chicken and slimey sauce. Will not be using again!!! Clearly microwaved

Food bland taste less and not cheap staff not very helpful or sociable

The dishes are a bit hit and miss. The chicken is a bit slimy and rubbery. Always enjoyed the char sui pork though and their chips are very nice.

Always love this chinese takeaway, since it has been redone it isn’t quite as good but still good quality, noodles were a bit dry but overall very good

This food is really bad, it’s changed, maybe a different chef but all we tasted was sugar the bbq ribs now come in a sauce the dish I had the chicken was totally uncooked, the noodle stir fry tasted really sweet, the chips were cold and not good at all, will not be going back again ,

Always loved jade city dodworth but recently rice very tacky was a big disappointment not sure if it’s changed owner x

The last twice I have had food from this place I've spent most of next day on toilet, different dishes so can't blame 1 type. Sorry but will never ever go here again

Been many times before and have always been impressed, but the last few times it has been dreadful. Last night took things to a new level. I have never eaten anything as salty in my life, It was painful and an assault on the taste buds. Found some bits of plastic in one of the dishes as well. This is the least of my concerns though, as immediately after eating it I was left with violent stomach cramps and the rest… And to add insult they’ve put the prices up! Definitely not going back after this attempt.

Weird. The food we were given only vaguely resembled what we ordered. The starter they gave me wasn’t even on the menu and had bits of tooth-breaking bone (I think) in it. Chicken was floppy and spongy (as someone else says) and the char siu pork was…. Duck. Badly cooked duck. Fried rice wasn’t fried and all the veg tasted odd. It’s just weird. And they don’t take card.

Avoid. Whole family down with food poisoning today. Normally pretty good from here but won't be using again.

Best Chinese takeaway in Yorkshire!

Been ordering from jade city for a few months food not bad but its not brilliant either, had it tonight and the chicken in the chow main wasn't cooked properly and the rice was too oily, and the prawn crackers was stail, and the lady at the counter either over charges or don't give the correct change, think I'll stick to pecking Chef as you can't fault them at all there food is really nice and at a cheaper price also with pecking Chef on Mondays and Wednesdays they do brilliant deals too

Rang an order in on Christmas Eve and was told it would be ready in half an hour. Got to the shop, which was full of people waiting. I gave my name and was told there wasn’t a ticket for my order. I was then left to stand there for another 5 minutes until I asked what was happening. I wax then told I would have to re-order my food. I believe I would have been left standing there if I didn’t say something. Every person waiting for food had been told it would be half an hour. Some had been waiting for an hour. I had no apology and even had to pay for my prawn crackers after their mistake. Beef in chow mein was awful. Very average food and bad service.

The worst beef curry ever, the meat was a fatty substance which i didn’t recognise as Beef. The curry sauce had no taste , Also had 4 small spring rolls, when i was expecting one large spring roll, which contained no beansprouts. The whole experience was very disappointing. Sadly at my expense , the meal ended up in the bin.

Nice tasty oriental food at reasonable cost. Been a customer for years. Vast menus. A Dodworth landmark.

Waited over an hour for very average food. They forgot my order (which happens) so had to wait one hour five mins for food. No apology and charged for prawn crackers even though they should be free over £40. The food was poor and most of it ended up in the bin. Will never go again and since this has happened found out that most of the local people avoid the shop and travel to another take away.

Don't go when they say at 5.30.on Saturday as there is no sign of them being open until after 6pm

Never fails to please my taste buds. Highly recommended.

Lovely food, large menu and all the veg looks and tastes fresh unlike a lot of takeaways. Never been disappointed.

Nice take away, with good tasty food. Good prices, quick and friendly service. Good choice on the menu. Everything you would expect from a Chinese takeaway. Parking just around the corner at the supermarket.

Good Chinese/Cantonese take away using better ingredients but they only accept cash and don't deliver
