Jade Chinese in Bridgend

Worst chineese iv had in a long time. Called to order for collection definitely asked for salt & chilli Chicken I was sat with my partner as I called my order out he would have said if got it wrong. Got home to a tray of DRY salt & chilli chips not chicken. Called to check I wasn't charged for the chicken wasn't given any apology they didn't care. Rice was soooo dry I couldn't eat it. Chicken balls were lovely I guess

The second visit is very disappointing, not much substance to the dishes ( mostly sauce) and not very warm.

Omg it was soo good this is the best chinese in the area and its always spot on. Staff are polite food is amazing

Tom yum soup is far too sickly, no balance at all. Singapore vermicelli is top notch though.

Until last night this was our favourite Chinese takeaway. We were told meal would be delivered approximately 45 minutes. It arrived less than 10 minutes. Unfortunately,the meal,which is normally delivered pipping hot, I ordered crispy chicken in Cantonese sauce with plain noodles, The chicken just had onions, no peppers, and the noodles were cold. I don't think we will order from them again.

Best Chinese I've had for a long time used three different ones in the Bridgend area started off good and then rubbish will definitely use this takeaway again good portions nice and hot

Nice duck with pancakes, lovely crisp salt and pepper pork ribs and good special fried rice.

Placing our order via Food Hub was super easy. Delicious food, arrived on time and hot. Very generous portions. We will order from here again!

Food is amazing staff are helpful and polite and amazing. delivery is quick, this Chinese is one of the best in Bridgend only reason it’s not a 5 star is because actual store is looking a little dated and needs to be refurbished but that’s just me trying to find something wrong with the place to give a balanced review

I've ordered food on a weekly from this place for about 6/7 months and have never been let down. Foods always nicer on week days, seems to be fresher but still one of the best in bridgend.

Lovely Chinese curry sauce is delicious not too hot. Only downfall is the chicken omelette isn't like it use to be it's a shame the portion size is so small gone but still same price.

never had a problem with jades Chinese, have been a good customer for many of years, tonight's food was absolutely rank the chips were hard and tasted gone off the rice was stone cold along with the egg frozen or something😓 wasnt atall pleasing didn't feel right to even eat it , totally shocked as I've never had bad food from there before!!!! don't think I'll be ordering ever again 😷

Usually jade's is awesome but unfortunately lastnight Chinese was disgusting came absolutely cold says it all from that point who wants cold food. Will have to try somewhere else now.as the misses don't want want order from here again we was top customers up until lastnight. Only place we ever ordered our Chinese from disappointed jade's.

OK chinese meal. Not great, I tend to expect a but more flavour from my takeaway measl these days.

I really enjoyed what I had, however as a vegan there wasn't much to choose from and that's why I'm giving 3 stars and NOT because of the food.

This is the second time we have tried Jade's chinese. The first time was mediocre but gave it another go none the less. The second time was even more dissapointing. The food is completely bland and tasteless with a hint of plastic after taste. The peking sauce is the worst thing I have ever tasted. Its thick, gloopy and sweet, nothing like a peking sauce should be! We were advised that the food would take an hour to deliver but took 2 hours with no call or update. Would not reccomend! Definitely not worth the money or the wait. Will NEVER order from here again!

Excellent service as always. Food is always piping hot. If you haven't tried the Mongolian beef, then try it, it's one of my favourite dishes and the reason I keep going back to Jade.

We were staying in a local hotel and came here after go googling a local chinese take away. There was a rule of one customer at a time and hand sanitizer available (visited during covid 19 restrictions) The lady in the front was very polite and helpful. We ordered and waited roughly 10 maybe 15 minutes for the food. We ordered a variety and all the food was amazing. All hot and well packaged. The portions were huge and very well priced. The only thing we wasn't keen on was the curry sauce as was a little sweet for our liking. (may of ordered the wrong thing). Chicken was all nice white breast. Prawn toast was lovely. We recieved free prawn crackers. Would visit again if we visited Wales.

Called 50+ times over the course of 20-25 minutes, no pickup at all. Only difference is the occasional “Call Busy” where someone else’s order had been taken. Shame as this Chinese is usually a household favourite.

This used to be my go to takeaway in Bridgend for Chinese food. But I am sorry to say who ever is cooking in the restaurant needs to rethink their style of cooking. .cut out the salt , your killing the meal. .taste what you are cooking, there is no appetite for more it heads for the bin. . Good cooking makes you want to eat more, but not now . This is the third meal I had here which has ended in the bin , which is a real disappointing as I enjoy their former style of cooking.

Absolutely wonderful food. As a vegetarian , it isn’t always easy to find decent Chinese food , but there is never any problem subsisting any of the meat dishes for a vegetarian option on the menu. I Have tried many of the Chinese’s in Bridgend , but this is by far the best. The food is always fresh and hot when delivered. I highly recommend the chilli chips and Thai green curry.

Absolutely disgusting customer service..been going here for a while..owner hung up on me 3 times.. got our order wrong said they would refund me on our next order..went to make a order and got refused..owner of the takeaway shouting at me and was saying I was in the wrong.. will never be spending another penny at jades Chinese takeaway Bridgend..

Girl put me on hold for 17 minute before I hang up. Tried calling back for the next half hour and nothing just engaged because she left the phone off the hook. Dread to think how much money she cost the business by loosing so many food orders. Disgusting!!

My first order from Jade. Food arrived hot, which was good. A nice tasting beef in black bean sauce, the mini spring rolls were definitely home made and tasty. Recently changed my review to five stars, I had a lovely chicken chop suey meal - with 8 different vegetables in the sauce and tender chicken. Pleasant young woman on the phone also. To Rhys who had problems getting through, they do have a mobile number now also on Bridgend Biz.

Often visit here when staying in the Best Western. Service is quick- within 5 minutes and efficient. You can get a receipt which is always a bonus lol! Always have the chow mein and it is very good- need to try something different one day but until then will enjoy the same same lol

We order chinese regularly. The food arrives hot. and reaches a good standard We do not like the prawn crackers so have an alternative spring rolls. Can recomend the Lemon Chicken, Crispy Beef ,Crispy Duck Chow Mein.

We rarely have takeout food in Bridgend - after many years of disappointment with the quality of Chinese food in the area, I saw favourable reviews of Jade on Trip Advisor, and, decided to give it a go. The food from Jade was excellent, even the left-overs for breakfast the next day. Finally, a great Chinese take-out in Bridgend!

Staying overnight in Bridgend, I opted for a takeaway from here. There were quite a few people in which usually means the food is good. Not so on this occasion. I had a chicken curry and fried rice, the best that can be said is that it was piping hot. The curry was sweet, there was very little spice to it; the overwhelming taste was sweet - it was sweeter than many desserts- and gloopy. The taste was foul, the rice didn’t taste right either. The whole thing was disgusting. It was very disappointing. It was the worst Chinese I have ever had. On the upside the service was very pleasant and fast.

Their food is so tasty, staff friendly and very efficient! You cannot go wrong with Jade chinese takeaway. I am now addicted to them.😊

this Chinese is absolutely the best place I have ever tried for a delivery or take take away it has very well mannered staff and the delivery drivers are also lovely the taste and quality of food was amazing they even do the prawn crackers like they supposed to be made not the ones that don’t even taste nice which are at most Chinese take always these purely best I’ve tried and tasted you get the food made from the best top quality and can tell a lot of effort goes into it we will truly recommend 100%

I have ordered a take away three times now and have thoroughly enjoyed the food BUT on 2 occasions they have got my address wrong and my food went to the wrong address so unfortunately I will not be ordering from them again, if they cannot get my address correct then they do not deserve my custom and I have found another Chinese just as good . It is such a shame but there we are. The person who took my order read my address back to myself but gave the driver the wrong address so hey

Literally just been to the Jade chinese. If you ignore the 3 star food rating the food is still absolutely shocking. I ordered food, got straight in a taxi and went home and then realise the order was completly wrong. Phoned the store, but other than im sorry over the phone they said they would do nothing about it. Discusting, AVOID!!!

Always used jade until tonight huge order to be placed and would not stick to what I ordered always had normal portion of ribs in the 3 for 12 then called a lier ordered from opal den aberkenfig worked out cheaper and much bigger portions they even gave extra glad I didn't book for extra occasions this year

El resto de los platos eran preciosas también. La única crítica es que la carne no era muy crujientes crujientes. Sin embargo, en general una gran comida.

Telephone ordered for delivery. The time estimated was extended which was a bit disappointing. When the food arrived the Hot and Sour Soup was excellent but the Singapore noodles/ sweet and sour chicken cantonese style/ chicken pepper and garlic and chips were just ok. With so many takeaways to choose from I probably wouldn't purchase here again
