Update! It wasn’t too long after my review that this place actually closed! I can’t be totally surprised at that. They had no idea how to cook ‘Belgian Fries’…. And I never got to check out a couple of other menu items. ☹️ I visited recently based on the reviews. However, despite the impressive portion size and the excellent value this represents, I was very disappointed with the so called Belgian Fries. I think it’s safe to say only the size bore any relation to them being ‘Belgian’. The problem was that these fries were soft and as a result, the texture was not great. They should be crispy. Also, traditional Belgian fries are cooked in a combo of cow and horse fat. I didn’t get the impression from the taste they were cooked this way here. I will visit again as I want to try a couple of other menu options and to see that the poor cooking of the fries was a one off.

Very pricey, the same price I’d rather pay Wendy’s, KFC or McDonald’s. Burgers are very dry, chicken over-fried but fries was soggy , not even crispy. Won’t visit again, the customer service is not good at all.

Not even all the hype! , no taste in the food at all

My first visit to Jack and Jill's and was extremely disappointed. The place was filthy, floor so sticky my shoes stuck to the ground. Tables unwiped and chips over the floor. Definitely Over priced for luke warm chips even though portions were big however the chips clearly hadn't been fried properly let alone double fried. Woman who served us was on her phone the entire time we were there from prepping our food until we left. Do not waste your precious time or money!!!

The owner made vegan loaded fries to my spec. Really good... would recommend. More vegan options coming there soon. Amazing customer service 👏🏽 👌🏼

Great churros made freshly and amazing chicken burgers

Came here with my wife today. Flavour, texture and freshness of the food were absolutely amazing. Can't believe how spot on it was. Staff were friendly and helpful. This was our second visit within a few days. This is our new spot.

NICE lady helped me out with my order..... 5 ChickenWings with Buffalo Sauce Small Portion of CHIPS (not them rubbish fries you get most places) Tropical Slushy Superb !! The staff was very friendly and it was quiet when we came in. The interior is nicely decorated and clean. But that's about it. The food esp. the chips and sauces were plain, the burger buns were dry, the chicken patty was kind of ok but definitely not worth the price. Given the lots of positive reviews, maybe we have had a bad day but not to be recommended with our experience.

Fabulous customer service and the food in very well positioned and tasty and freshly cooked right in from of you if you haven’t been yet it is a must

Absolutely love Jack & Jils!! Been here around 5-6 times with my friends for small celebrations and they never fail to exceed the expectations! Their churros are perfect to a T, with many dipping sauce options to choose from! Would definitely recommend for all ages!

Had to wait ages for some expensive churros which seemed burnt. And the portion of chocolate sauce that came with it was minuscule. Doubt we’ll return.

Went in asked about the milkshakes and I got told to order the churro one by a member of staff. She asked what sauces I wanted. Ended up paying 6 for some extras sauces I didn't ask for and wasn't told would cost more. For a product I didn't even want. Didn't even get a churro milkshake I got some horrible frozen churros with cheap Nutella sauce on the side

The nacho burger and chips are excellent and the churros are very tasty. Everything is freshly made and the place is very friendly.

Ordered full loaded fries. Amazing taste, costumer service is top notch as well and the burgers look and taste really good too. Students can get a discount card after ordering for the first time. Delicious food and good service, definitely recommend.

Had this place in mind to visit, I tried the Nacho fries option. It was such a treat that I would only expect in America or so. Basically nacho fries with salsa, guacamole and jalapenos. I'm really satisfied, a heartwarming meal in this weather, reasonably priced, a large portion easily sharable! Would be a great treat to have with a movie and to share!!! I would definitely recommend this place! The owners are great too!!!

This has to be my new favourite place to eat. For something quick and easy, I love the loaded boxes. I have tried the chinese loaded box and the gravy loaded box. Both were amazing. Double fried chips made fresh there and then are fantastic. The staff are great and go out of their way to make sure your experience is excellent. I can't wait until I can order this through delivery services. Highly recommended.

Just Can’t Get Enough!! This brilliant new independent business is a much needed addition to the influx of big corporate fast food places in Uxbridge. The relaxed and appealing environment is the first thing you notice when you walk in. Bright, vibrant and spacious with staff who are more than willing to serve you - unlike most places these days. The wide choice of toppings and sauces on twice cooked chips is displayed on bright screens and I chose the “spicy jacks” loaded box and what an explosion of flavours in your mouth! Generously coated, well sauced but not too much so the freshly cooked chips don’t get soggy. A wide range of colourful slushies, milkshakes and coffees are available and the meal deals are very affordable - they even do fresh churros! Managed to have a quick chat with the owners who told me that they will be introducing more variation to the menu in the new year that will include great accompaniments to the ‘always fresh, never frozen’ chips. I will be returning and may even become a regular.

Just walked in today, and tried churros with hot chocolate sauce, it was delicious

Walked in to get a quick snack after seeing a promo deal on the board outside the shop, walked in to find out no such deal existed and had to order items separately. Ok, whatever. Strike one. Got large chips with a dip and churros with a sauce. First staff member seemed quite oblivious, like he had no idea how to do his job or what was on the menu. His supervisor had to intervene. Strike two. Chips were ok but severely underseasoned (we asked for Cajun seasoning but got none of anything, not even salt). Instead it was all at the bottom, making those in contact with so called “seasoning” inedible. Not very crispy either. Bland and soggy. Yikes. Hot sauce was too acidic to be nice. The “churros” were too soft and not at all crunchy, more like log-shaped doughnuts. Chocolate sauce was nice tho. Overall good value for money but quality is not there. Will not come back.

I try for the first time this fast food shop. When we visit this place near Uxbridge station, the shop was empty. We order churros and waffle bites, tea, and coffee but we were not satisfied with the quality of the products. The churros and waffles were frozen and the taste was like we ate a rubber. If this is the future to have coffee and tea from a robot machine where only pressing one button and the drink is come out, I will stick with drinks made by humans. There have as well chips, ice cream, and slush. Definitely, we will not visit this place again.

Good chips, crispy on the outside but fluffy on the inside. pricing is reasonable. Dips are good but mayonnaise is not like you find in Belgium. Missing dishes like Frikandel and other meat options. Which is a shame as it stops me from visiting if I'm looking for a meal. Lots of deserts options too.

Really great new chips and dessert joint off the high street! Loaded chips were amazing and super filling and the desserts were out of this world especially the churros - try out the white chocolate and hazelnut sauce! Amazing to see that it is family run - even has a seperate kids area with a chalk wall! Highly recommend
