Grants Fish Bar in Hillingdon

Went here to buy fish and chips and was met by an elderly indian chap who was rude and crass and came across pretty arrogant for no reason. "What you want" was the first thing he said. Anyway I ordered the food and asked for large fish and chips. The fish was large but the portion of chips were incredibly small. The attitude and service from the elderly chap was disgusting. Never again will I step foot in this place again!

A fish and chop shop that offers just that plus a rack of ribs and Doner Kebabs There is no dine in just takeaway but there is parking outside

We tried them not to put salad in the burger because we are allergic to tomatoes they didn’t listen put it in the burger

Fast, efficient service. Decent cod and huge portions of chips. Great value for money.

Been buying food from here for a few years now and with the exception of one hiccup the food has always hit the spot! The chips here are like how the old school chippys used to do them. The service is always with a smile. Overall a great place to get your Friday fix any day of the week... bar Sundays.

I’ve been going here for more than 20 years, although I don’t get to visit as much as I’d like as I’ve moved away. Still always a warm welcome when I do pop in. They still serve the best ribs I’ve ever tasted so every now and then I just have to make the trip especially to get them! Was in the area yesterday so I couldn’t resist popping by my favourite chip shop!

Great place been here for years old school fish and chips owner with more on the menu you've got to Try I used to be a customer after 4 years of me and my gf coming here the owners are family friends. Top notch service never usually leave reviews but recommended a lot of people to this place and they have never been let down! Friendly staff and helpful good food

Tried the cod fish and chips there. It's truly bad. The cod fish does not taste like a fish, but it is not fishy. The chips are also terrible. The outer layer is hard and very difficult to chew. I only took a few and dumb all chips in the bin. Strongly not recommended for this.

Been coming here on & off for years, Its convenient for me. The fish & chips are not always very good ,but value for money compared to other places. Popped in today on the way home from Hillingdon hospital, I ordered cod & chips they always give you a large cod & chips for £8.60 this was 4.30pm & without doubt the best I have had for many many years, the chips were how they were years ago very moreish & the fish was chunky & fresh ( yummy )

The chips are good, the fish is good and most importantly they don't leave the saveloys in water to get soft and mushy. Theirs are crispy on the outside and actually taste od something. I travel for miles to get here sometimes.

There two places grants Atlanta fish shop. It said on the website open at half 4. When I go there there never open. So I went to the other chip shop. One day there chip where good but cold and when I went there again the chip was good but hot. Yesterday I went there the chip where hard and someone order the fish and it was two greasess and the luchmeat fritter was fine

I like supporting local shops. But this time I'm very disappointed. The best thing was the chips and quick service. But the food wasn't great, the fish was soaked in oil, double fried? Idk. I've never seen the oil solidify from fish when its left. I hope you take this critique and improve, would like to keep on supporting the local chippy.

Service is always very good with a broad selection of foods. The chips are always enjoyable according to my taste, cooked the good old fashioned way.

We have been using Grants Fish Bar on and off for the last 28 years and would highly recomend it to friends and family ! I would give it a 5 Star rating for food and a 5 Star rating for service .

Great food, freshly prepared and packed with flavour! They do a very nice home made chilli sauce definitely worth checking out. Always a warm friendly welcome from the guys in the shop and a lovely service. Great overall takeaway
