Izza Pizza in Birmingham

Myself and my boyfriend are strict vegeterian and were very dissapointed with the lack of care with vegeterian meals at this restaurant. We were excited to try the pizzas as they looked lovely but after a close look at the menu we noticed all pizzas, even ones which would usually be vegeterian (magherita) was labelled as MF (meat free) which claimed to be free of meat but a chance of rennett in the cheese, rennett being the enzymes from a calves stomach. So we politely asked the waiter to clarify about what was truely vegeterian on the menu and he proceeded to tell us that all the pizzas marked as MF were fine for us to eat, when I explained that we coud not eat animal rennett in the cheese, he said "Oh, I'm sure you will be fine" in a very patronising tone. I wonder if he would say this to someone with a nut allergy with a dish containing nuts? We were not happy with this response and did not want to risk eating here so we asked if we could just pay for out drinks and leave. The staff continued to be rude about us not ordering any food and made us feel very uncomfortable. Its a shame but this experience has put us off returning to this chain of restaurants again.

Our meal was great. The pizzas are really good. Surprisingly good. The garlic bread is a bit weird, I'd avoid it. The service was good and the food was out quickly. It's in the middle of a busy area, but it takes you out of that atmosphere, and it's nice to sit and relax whilst shopping.

Visited 10/01/18 with my 2 sisters & baby niece. Was shown to our table straightaway & was offered a high-chair which was really nice because a lot of places especially in the bullring do not offer them. Orders were taken & we were served our tasty, thin crust & delicious pizzas fresh out the Wood fire oven in about 20/25 mins. One of the best authentic Italian style pizzas iv had in a while with great service. Can’t wait to go back. (Just a heads up we stupidly ordered 3 pizzas (a pizza each) plus sides & we were full to the brim & ended up having 1 & half pizzas packed🤭)

I am really disappointed with their service. We have ordered & waited about 45 mins; Pizza didn’t appear. We asked from a member staff who it will be in 5 minuets. We had 3 kids with us who were starving. Asked about 3 times and finally got reply the order was misplaced. We were so disgusted and about to leave the place. After 1 hour & 10 minuets the food has arrived but no apology. Should learn some behaviour.

Comer bastante a menudo nos aquí. La pizza es deliciosa y el servicio es rápido. Debido a que normalmente viene a la hora del almuerzo, solemos compartir una pizza, aunque la mayoría de la gente probablemente desea uno cada uno.
