I normally like Itsu - it’s a treat. But the breakfast bacon & miso egg bao at Stansted is one of the worst things I have ever eaten. Almost completely tasteless, just an odd tang to the egg that must have been the ‘miso’ bit (didn’t taste of miso, though). Bacon looked boiled and was leathery. Eggs were runny. Bao bun had the texture of damp cardboard. Simultaneously chewy and runny. Ugh.

Horrible company, offered my son a trial shift, kept postponing, he even showed up for 1, and they said manager was off, he doesn't have petrol to waste!! Filling the position before honoring all trials! Nasty

Do not ever buy matcha latte from this place , it’s like green water with a little drop of milk, and they say it should be like that ! Shame !! £4 just went to the bin .

That this store is listed as 'itsu - stanstead' sums up the lack of effort and care. (Stanstead is a small village in Suffolk, Stansted is the airport where this counter is). The same basic level of focus carries through to the quality of the food. Portions are minimal, the taste and flavours are chaotic. Of course I'm not expecting an outstanding meal, I do know I'm ordering from an Itsu(!), but this is a store that could improve. Positives were that the staff were polite, and the environment clean and hygienic.

Breakfast miso egg bao with bacon was rather small and underwhelming for the price. Coffee ☕️ (illy) was awful! Weak and tasteless. I asked for a flat white but frankly it could have been anything. Comes from the machine so don’t get your hopes high. Service was good and polite. The lady was cleaning tables as well as guarding the seating area only for Itsu customers 👍 (I am looking at you Pret!)

I got the spicy chicken teriyaki bowl which was only half full. For £10 you’d expect more than a snack why not just put more rice in? Flavour wasn’t great didn’t taste very Japanese.

Sushi was nice but all of the nigiri tasted like wasabi which completely ruined it for me as I don't like wasabi

We went there in the very early morning and the service we had was amazing. Aleksandra the manager was very friendly, and she was very smily as well. The bao I had was amazing . Anytime I’m going back I will definitely have food there. Raccomanded for a very tasty and bit different breakfast.

The best coffee at the airport!

Like a normal Itsu, but with Lukewarm drinks, no chopsticks, no wasabi. Nice staff can only go so far.

Before my flight to Istanbul I visited Itsu and was pleasantly surprised by the choices ! I had to take a good few minutes to choose between the sushi and hot food but I ultimately chose the miso detox, super healthy and the girl that served me (blueish hair with a big black ribbon) was friendly and fantastic at suggesting me dishes and I’m glad I chose this dish with her great help! Will come back again

Way too pricey for what it is. Overcooked tasteless rice and bland chicken. 8 pounds worth of disappointment called "chicken teriyaki".

Recommended for those who love sushi and oriental cuisine. The food is good and is freshly made. I bought a pack of prawn gyoza, a large pack of mixed sushi and a pack of mochi and spent around 25 pounds, which is okay for the sushi and the fact that we are at the airport. It's a self-service restaurant, you choose the product (it's canned obviously) and go to the cashier, so no service. Furthermore, during the busiest hours it is a bit difficult to find a place to have a meal. But despite this, when I come back through here I will stop again to enjoy the gyoza and sushi!

Don’t know the girls name but this morning she was working ( wears glasses, blond hair in a bun). She is super professional. Wanted to leave the best review and a massive thank You.

Very average gyoza,the wrapper was quite hard and the filling had a weird texture plus my tummy hurt really bad after eating the gyoza.

Nelle panchine sia fuori che dopo il check in ci sono USB per ricaricare cellulare. Sempre dopo check in centro c'è un centro commerciale enorme che camminando senza fermarsi ci si impiegano 5 minuti per arrivare alla sala aspetto. Con circa 93 gate è uno tra i più grandi aereoporti. Ci arriva il treno dal centro di Londra fermata di Liverpool.

Great experience, me and my girlfriend had 2 different kind of bowls, both with special requests, and it only took 2 minutes to have our delicious food ready. Service was great and I want to give a big congratulations to Nicole, who took our order, for being so kind to us. Whenever I get back to Stansted Airport, I will go to Itsu!

Amazing food with a healthy options.

I didn't think food offered could ever be this bad. Place looks pleasant enough for an airport, but the thai udon and sushi were really bad. Cutting corners with ingredients, fried onion on everything. Maybe the ginger kombucha wasn't to my personal taste, but we make kombucha at home and it was really bad imo. I'm sorry, but i will never be returning.

I always eat in itsu when I fly out.I feel like itsu it's the perfect place to grab a bite and they have the breakfast bao bans that are just excelent.

Buona la qualità ed il sapore. Prezzi nella media considerando che siamo in un aeroporto di Londra.

They provided the smallest bacon roll that I've ever eaten. It took 12 minutes to make too! Laughable offering when there's so many other options available in the place.

I went there for coffee, unfortunately they don't accept cash which was embarrassing to have some really nice paid for you coffee..

Standard Itsu food which compared to other restaurants at Stansted means it’s a great option and good value for lunch etc. We came here around 9am on a weekday and it was empty compared to Pret/Leon a maybe because it’s more of a lunch place. We bought an Itsu Classic Box (Salmon Sushi) for the journey - cost £9.99 (and was £2 cheaper than to eat in). Didn’t try any but they had some nice looking smoothies since I last came here (see photos). I also bought a pink refill flask which is full of sparkling water but intended as a refillable bottle - really like it. Plenty of seating and situated near the shuttle train.

My partner ordered a korean bbq rice bowl and got a bug in the food with it. Disgusting.

Let me start with a shout out to the staff. Very nice and polite. I ate a box of sushi based on salmon pieces. The salmon itself: not bad. The rice: tasteless. Pure grains cooked in water Avocado: super hard and not ready to be eaten The soy sauce in the tine bottle that came in the box: SUPER SALTY. Sea water with soya taste. Tried the one in the big bottle that says less 45% salt.. still salty and looked like it has been sitting in there open, since before covid. Its just pure vinegar with soy taste. Do not recomend

Очень неплохой суши-бар, частично по системе самообслуживания. Выбираешь набор суши на витрине, либо горячие пельмени, берёшь напиток, и у стойки оплачиваешь и можешь заказать горячие напитки. Можно еду съесть на месте, а можно взять с собой. Мы съели в кафе, суши были свежие и вполне приличные. Все ок.

Itsu mi fa ricordare sempre piacevoli ricordi di Londra, quindi diciamo che sono un po' di parte ma obiettivamente itsu offre una buona qualità di sushi a un prezzo molto competitivo, soprattutto se consideriamo che quest'ultimo si trova in aeroporto. I usually eat at Pret at Stansted but on this occasion decided to try itsu. Getting served there is like going to Macdonald's: the staff offers you "meal options". Had some sashimi and a miso soup. Neither was tasty or fresh. The miso had large slimy lumps of tofu which I were not listed and I did not ask for them. Disgusting! The whole place did not look clean, let alone disinfected. The final horrible experience was when I cleared my table and took the rubbish to the "recycling area". This consisted of a large open slop bucket where you could see the festering remains of hundreds of meals not obviously not enjoyed by patrons. The slop was floating in a rotting sewage lake. I nearly threw up.

Cosy location and amazing quality and low prices counting that you are in airport 6-12£ for a nice meal. I'd say best go-to for a quick and healthy meal they have sushi, noodles, soups. I have said it already but highly consider going here ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

I had the Garden of Vegan and it was pretty good considering location, price and quality. I’d definitely have it again. If you’re looking for a fast and cheap vegan meal, go for this one. They also have a good variety of Kombucha drinks.

Tried this place while passing through Stansted. I had the I'thai Udon. This was noodles with vegetables, particularly peas and beans, peppers and corrianda, in rich, slightly spicy sauce with coconut milk. Really tasty, and the service was fast and friendly. For me, I would say perfect airport lunch.

Itsu is probably one of the better choices for travellers who a) don't want to spent a million pounds for a subpar meal, and b) are trying to watch their calorie consumption. However: nearly everything contains the devil's lettuce (that is to say, corriander), and the seating is remarkably uncomfortable. But tgen, you win some and lose some.

One of the healthier options at stansted airport. Freshly made sushi and a good variety. Fruit pots are yummy too. Fairly priced for airport food and personally prefer to other more fast food venues or inflight junk. Def worth a stop on the way past

Staff talking in Czech about customers in front of them, not knowing some might actually understand... very off putting. Even asking to refill a water bottle with the other was met with with 'swear words' in Czech.. sad.

I have been an Itsu fan for years - super affordable tasty healthy food! Great for when you want something on the go but don't want something greasy Being an airport site you wouldn't expect high standards of customer service as everyone is in a rush - but the staff were super awesome and helpful with my fuzzy requests Love they do a carb free option of their hot dishes packed with lovely veggies upon request too

Just had the most delicious, fresh food. But more importantly, the staff here are 100% friendly. They're doing 99p miso ATM with a meal from the cooler...

Ok, be honest, the place it good located, makes me feel like the food should be good, at least eatable, but, I brought set with salmon sushi & maki + some salmon california maki, but that was awfull. The rice was hard, tastless, fish is very thin sliced, no ginger or wasabi was in the box, sesame seed was not roasted, so tasts really bad, generally, I will never buy it from itsu anymore, the first time and the last time, rather take some burger or even sandwich.

At 4:30 today I ordered with the guy on the middle till. My food was on a tray as I paid, I finished paying and went to pick the tray up and he told me the tray was for the service station only. Which clearly wasn’t true because I turned around and every other customer eating had the same tray, then he watched me struggle to hold hot food and bring it over to my table. what was the reason for that, I felt singled out, servers are supposed to help customers not make them upset and struggle, very annoyed. this man is in the wrong job he shouldn’t work with people at all.

Always love to have breakfast in Itsu before my flight, however I am really disappointed with the new version of Ham Egg breakfast bowl. Won’t be buying it any longer.

The sushi is Ok, don't expect the best sushi in the world, it's a fast food chain, but for the price is not too bad. The Gyozas are horrible, don't buy them.

Jag älskar ramen, dumplings, nudlar och varm mat så maten på itsu passade mig perfekt. Det var lagom kryddat och väldigt varmt. Fler flygplatser borde ha asiatiskt snabbmat istället för amerikansk!

Ordered a teriyaki chicken n rice ball. Expected somthing like wasabi does. Forget it!!! A bowl of rice with loads of spring onions 8 small pieves of chicken strips and 3 drops of teriyaki sauce. Sounds dry? Yes it was dry and all i could taste is onion. The rice is nice tho

Good food and drinks selection. Tried a salad, sashimi and cucumber water and they were fresh and tasty.

The spicy chicken udon soup was enjoyable. Quite spicy and with a nice poached egg and fresh vegetables. A little on the citric acid side flavour wise, but I didn't exactly expect 24 hour chicken broth. It definitely didn't lack flavour.

A little pricey but I always enjoy the food. Shame USB charging, becau points never seem to work. Also 2018, get your receipt because they sometimes charge VAT, even when you state you are not eating in. Not cool. 2019.will never eat there again... They continue to charge VAT on takeaway...

Good sushi. Shame I found a bone in my spicy chicken soup. Nearly broke a tooth. Complained to staff, filled out a complaint form and I still have not received any further contact from the company. Seems to me that just because you have a niche in an airport, customers aren't that important!

Always like the simple non heavy tasty food from itsu. Decent coffee also. Have been there twice in the last couple of week Served by the same girl with green highlights in here hair. She has an unusually pleasant way and it is a pleasure to be served by her!!

Awful service. Recently traveled from STN airport, early hours flight with child and baby. Was gonna purchase food and hot drinks for adults. When I asked for cup of hot water for baby's porridge which I was gonna pay for, rude shop assistant told me, she's not allowed to do that. Avoid if u expect some standard !
