Big sign that says 2 for 1 but when you order they say not any more. £20 for 2 small pizzas

Disrespectful to the customer for calling and telling them it was a wrong order..but being defensive...biggest joke.

I am utterly disappointed with the recent experience I had at Italian Express, a pizza shop I have been a loyal customer of for the past 6 years. I hosted a gathering with friends and family and decided to place an order for food. Little did I know that this decision would lead to a series of frustrating events that left me both irritated and dissatisfied. Upon placing my order, I received a call informing me that one of the pizzas I had ordered couldn’t be fulfilled, despite having already paid for it. The only choice given to me was to either accept this incomplete order or cancel it altogether. The staff member handling my call displayed a shocking level of rudeness and disinterest. Subsequently, I was told that the delivery driver would arrive within 10 minutes. After waiting for 20 minutes without any sign of the food, I called back to inquire about the delay. The same unhelpful staff member informed me that I would just have to wait or cancel the order, which I found to be an extreme response. Upon speaking to the staff member for the second time, I realized that I was only being sent two pizzas instead of the four I had ordered. When I tried to address this mistake, the staff member abruptly hung up on me. After calling back, he proceeded to shout at me, making derogatory comments about my English comprehension, and even suggesting that I visit the shop if I had a problem – all in an aggressive manner. Despite my attempts to resolve the situation, I never received the missing food. The manager, who also happens to be the new owner, eventually contacted me. He promised to send a link from Food Hub for me to claim a refund since I had not received my complete order. However, even after 24 hours, I am yet to receive this link. As a result, I am now forced to initiate a refund request through my bank. It’s disheartening to recount such a distressing experience, especially after being a loyal customer for so long. I hope my feedback will prompt Italian Express to address the glaring issues with their service and customer support. This ordeal has left me deeply unsatisfied and inconvenienced, and I hope no other customer has to endure such a disappointing encounter.

Good atmosphere in the shop, customer service and decent delivery time , pizza and burgers are great.

Had the funghi pasta dish - on menu said fusilli but pasta served was penne; aside from that, food was tasty and hot, and service was fine; atmosphere was lacking but it was a takeaway so wasn't a problem; I would get food from here again

We have eaten from restaurant for the past 5 years and it is always delicious. The pizza is thin and stone baked and the toppings are always abundant. I could not recommend this place enough.

What an absolute joke!! Ordered food last night through just eat! Never received it, rang them twice when the food was late but no answer! Just spoke to them on the phone and they were so rude and unhelpful, said they rang me but I have no phone calls on my log, they waited outside apparently but I was looking out the window and nothing!! Disgraceful!!!

I ordered pizza and chips but only ate the chips. The next evening when I went to eat the pizza it had a piece of mold on it already! Fuzzy, grey, clearly mold. What a waste, I called and said there was a mold on it, offered to send a video and all he kept saying was that it was impossible for it to mold and next time I order just say they forgot a pizza or something. Ridiculous, I used to come here often, never again. I’m more disappointed in reaction I got rather then the fact there was mold. Terrible customer service. Wasted my money, wasted the food….. tried adding the video but it only allows photos

Would not recommend this place hardly any topping on the meat feast pizzas and very poor quality ingredients! This is just as bad as kebab rush don’t waste your money on either one!!!!

My lasagna felt like it had been cooked in microwave which spoiled the taste of it , also it seemed that the lasagna was dry. I enjoyed the kebab in pitta bread but have tasted better donner meat before.

Ordered Donna meat and chips from here, worst mistake ever. Chips turned out to be burnt and over cooked. Donna meat was very oily. Will definitely not be coming back

Ordered from Just Eat. Was told an hour max. 1.5 hours later, the food turns up. Restaurant offered really poor customer service and didn't seem bothered that I called on more than one occasion. When the Carbonara arrived, it was bland, tasteless and poorly presented. Italian? Barely. Express? Definitely not. A very rare 1* review from me.

Waited for my pizzas for 1hr 30 mins, phoned the restaurant and explained, they didn't seem interested. Poor customer service skills. Order elsewhere.

This food smells really bad. The meat is not fresh, I called the restaurant because I don't have bacon in carbonara pasta, and they told me it was turkey bacon 😂🤣😂, change your name from Italian Express and edit your menu because you sell poison.

Poor poor poor, staff very rude when I complained, never using again, the food is very bland and basic, Iv had better frozen pizza's, chips like rubber, don't waste your money people, very very poor, staff are horrible when u complain AVOID AVOID AVOID

Live above royal for 8 years old just tried them and I honestly think this is one of the best pizzas in Wolverhampton! Well done guys! legitimately stonebaked pizza!

AMAZING PIZZA.... ruined by the embarrassingly rude delivery driver. Refused to give my boyfriend the food (despite being told it would be him collecting from outside my flat). After going down myself he demanded to see my call log for his number... Which he denied was his. After showing him my order we eventually got our food. Put a negative vibe on the whole night. Will NOT be ordering from here again due to experience with driver.

Ordered a pizza because it was bbq base but asked for no beef. It come with beef and tomato base. And took forever to make.

Ordered food tonight at 8.30pm, rang them back at 9.45pm and they said that they will be half hour more Ridiculous

Small portions plus no understanding

Always order from this place they always forget my drink there's always something missing from what I order or something's wrong completely missed my order the other week and yday my food come it tasted vile could tell they just wanted to get home and didn't care about what I ordered yet again no drink and something wrong on my order last time I'll be going to this place only reason I've even gave it 2 stars is cause I was dumb enough to keep going

I asked for the chicken meat and chips with no salad and no sauce... it came with mayo and salad (im allergic to eggs) definately do not recoomend this restaurant! I wouldnt even feed this food to my dog!

My favourite takeaway in wolves! Putting the fast in fast food, the food is lovely and cooked just right, never seen them closed to date so very reliable! Chips are perfect for fries lovers, not fat like chippy and not too thin. I love them that much I had to review them cause I've been meaning to for the last 2 years of service and not once have they let me down either in store or delivery! Please keep up the good work guys!!

WORST PIZZA TAKEAWAY IN WOLVERHAMPTON. AWFUL FOOD PASTA IS NOT FRESH BUT PROCESSED MEAT USED SAME AS WHAT'S ON PIZZA. DISGUSTING FOOD HARDLY HAD TOPPINGS ON THE PIZZA, FOOD HAD NO TASTE. HAD ONE BITE ON PASTA AND PIZZA AND BINNED IT. THAT'S HOW BAD THIS PLACE IS! DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY ORDERING FROM THIS PLACE. I DONT SEE THE POINT COMPLAINING TO THEM!!
