Istanbul Restautant, Oldham in Oldham

I visited this restaurant for the first time for a catch up lunch with a group of old friends. Between us we have quite a few special dietary requirements which were catered for with aplomb. All the food was freshly prepared and delicious and the service was excellent. The food was authentically Turkish and the Baklava was the best I've ever tasted, including in Turkey! It had been freshly made that morning. Up to Christmas they are giving a 20% discount but we decided to pay that as a service charge because the staff were so brilliant. I normally go to Manchester when I want Turkish food and its wonderful to now have this place in Oldham.
