Istanbul Kebab House in Neath Port Talbot

Not the nicest food anymore, was very disappointed.

Food arrives freezing cold, added instructions for the guy to knock quietly because it was night time, guy didn't even read it hammered the door basically woke my dad up who was sleeping. No sort of tracking, order showed preparing still when the guy was at my door. Upon opening kebab I could smell the amount of grease. The container was wet from the amount of grease. Some dumb fool placed the pitta bread at the bottom to get it soaked in all the orangish grease I couldn't eat the pitta due to the amount do grease, I tried to eat the meat just so it wouldnt be a waste of my money but I couldn't it was cold some bits warmer than others which leads me to believe it was improperly heated or cooked or whatever but what happend to me isn't okay I would strongly advise against ordering here.... Food used to be great severely gone down hill now

Worst kebab we've ever had. Do not order from here. I thought we'd order because they had 20% off orders on just eat! Don't fall into that trap! Absolutely no flavour to the kebab, best bit was the salad and bread...and it was cold on delivery.

Hanging.. tasteless full of grease and coleslaw like cheap bluestripe from tesco threw it in bin.total waste of £24.. had toast for supper instead..where can u go these days to get a genuine Turkish kebab?

Given a few chances ...not for me keebabs have a funny liquid on them, donner meat not grilled enough and pizza burnt

Food is absolutely disgusting 🤮 The place looks terrible inside! GO ELSEWHERE. Place was a tidy shop a few years back. Must be new owners or owner have just give up! Don't even know how it's still open. 0/10 !

Lg chicken shish, £11, tasteless chicken, salad not fresh, chilli sauce ok. Won't be returning.

My partner ordered a pizza. It took over an hout to arrive. When it was finally delivered it was freezing cold and tasted like soap. Will never order from there again.

Ordered 2 kababs went to take a bite and it was freezing cold and still raw nobody order from here I have ordered from here a couple of times and it’s the same thing everytime

It was one of my favourites with always tasty food. Then 2 weeks ago I ordered burger and chips which led to food poisoning for two days. So won’t be ordering again

I have been using Istanbul's for years but the last couple of weeks the kebab meat is over cooked and not very edible, I won't be using them again

Excellent food and great service

Go to Tesco's frozen food section, buy a frozen pizza, and bite into it; it's better than Istanbul kebab house. Undercooked is an understatement; raw is more accurate. Straight from the store to my house and into the bin, and I don’t even think the bin wanted it.

Bad place, put simply. Food is about as average as it gets, couple this with the owner actively encouraging customers and delivery drivers to utilise the taxi rank outside setting these poor, impressionable, not so clever people for a fine when the council does eventually pull its finger out and deal with the mess. They've had an ample chance to self police this issue particularly, so the fines and points incoming will be just deserts.

Had to walk on my own further than I should ever have to at night due to this place and its crusty, smelly drivers taking up all the taxi rank space.

Buisness actively engaging in the process of stopping people getting home safely. Absolutely would not purchase from here until the taxi rank is for taxis. The council will surely address this soon.

Decent food and good friendly staff.

Always have fantastic food from Istanbul. The staff are friendly and the food is hot, fresh and tasty. One of the best kebab shops on station road. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

So dissapointed with my order, paid over £18 for a large chicken shish, small chicken shish, cheese & chips with salad were the smallest kebabs ive ever had, the salad included...the coleslaw was less than a pinch and sauces a few drips...usually always get my kebabs from here but i dont know how its gone so bad. Will go somewhere else in future, left still hungry and not happy.

Tasty but lacking in portion size! Paid £8.50 for a large chicken shish but only got a fivers worth of food! Lacking in chicken and salad!! Disappointed

We went here yesterday evening,after a lovely stroll in Aberavon.The food was first-rate,and the coleslaw and spicy chillies really enhanced the kebab we shared.The chips were crispy and cooked just right.No complaints whatsoever.First class.

Last 2 orders from here have been cold by the time they are delivered. We encountered hostility from their staff/customer service, when we complained and even threatened with being barred due to the complaints. After returning the food ourselves, one of the staff placed his hand into the middle of the food and said it was warm, luke warm not hot like a kebab should be for health reasons. We were given our money back and won't be using this place again. Definitely would not reccommend!

I have ordered from here many times over the years but they have recently been declining with quality and tonight was the last straw. Ordered a 12" meat feast pizza, it came on time but that's the only good thing I can say about it. Ordered two extra toppings, only 1 was on it, hardly any xheese, all tomato sauce and a burnt base, the amount of topping was a joke. I will never order here again.

I called them up to make an order as my account was glitching up. The person in charge of the takeaway answered and at first took the order in a gentle manner but then started to become aggressive and angry when I placed a few more items to order. He became agitated quickly and told me to hurry up, I said to him not to speak to me in an aggressive tone as it made me uncomfortable however he does not care and would rather hang up than take my order. I was disgusted by his tone of voice and customer service. He abruptly cut the phone and when I called back he said he was very glad to not take my order and he is happy to lose a regular customer. (Ps whatever anger issues you have, do not take it out on your customers as I can see this has happened to others before. Learn how to upgrade your customer service please). Absolutely DISGUSTING behaviour.

Food was good , fried hot wings were a little bland , they were cooked well though , fast service

Normally really good service and excellent food. Dissapointed tonight, although staff was friendly, had to phone up 3 time as my order was wrong every time.

The food was wrong twice. plus it was raw because my burger went moooo.

rude staff couldnt be bothered with our order which would have been a family order so went elsewhere,if want to succeed in future as the competition is high in your area i would change your staff as they cant be bothered to take orders

Actually the worst pizza I have ever had. Ham tasted off and pizza was undercooked. Very disappointed. I will never order from here again. Such a lack of effort went into this pizza I would be surprised if the person washed his hands prior to insulting me. Not even the dog would eat it.

Stay away bought doner kebabs bread warmed 10secs hardly any fillings minute portions of salad not even remotely worth the price stay away and meat cold as soon as I left

Good food 95% of the time delivery is mostly on time

Had a grill combo had only about six little scrawny pieces of meat for 8 pound couldn't feed a child

The only place in Port Talbot that does decent kebabs.
