I’ve ordered a takeaway well in the time of delivery’s actually nearly 2 hours before it closes, they decided to cancel the order 10 minutes after I ordered

This is by far the best takeaway Indian in this area.the food is plentiful, delicious,and hot. Friendly staff who are so helpful with delivery prompt and efficient. Thank you.

Awful awful. Never again. Chicken Tikka was so hard and dried couldn’t even cut with a knife. Absolutely shocking food. Our dog refused to eat the chicken Tikka.

Ordered for collection. Waited 30 minutes and as I was about to leave they cancelled the order without giving me a reason. Now I've got to order from somewhere else and wait all over again. Plus they've taken the money out of my account and no doubt I'll have to wait 3-5 days for a refund. Terrible way to run a business

WORST TAKEAWAY IVE EVER HAD. People who love Indian food need to avoid this place, I can’t even give it one star it really was terrible, I felt ripped off with the food I was given.

I placed an order on their website which is managed by Food Hub and my money was taken. I went to collect my food and was told that they didn’t have my order and couldn’t do anything about the money. The guy then walked off and carried on cooking. I had to go through food hub who then phoned them to get a refund. Something isn’t right with this place, I’m really dubious and the website that they advertise in the store doesn’t exist. I was going to let the 2 star hygiene rating go but with this as well genuinely avoid at all costs and go across the road.

Good food and excellent service

Food arrived hours after ordering and is cold. My advice is not to take on orders you clearly cant deliver on busy nights. Know when your to busy so you only deliver excellent service rather than going for the most money and delivering poor quality hours later.. you have just lost 3 customers through this! There is huge competition out there..how silly

Ordered using their website.. had text message stating that I had received a refund. Thought that they had possibly overcharged me so waited over the stated 45 minutes for the food. Phoned them and was told that they wouldn’t be delivering as they had only one driver. I asked why the text didn’t explain and was told it was automatically generated. I have an account with them so they have my phone number and it would have taken one minute to let me know. Good food - lousy service. Will not be back.

Taj Mahal Spice has been my place to go for a long time. However placed an order lsat night and was quite disappointed. The delivery was only 20 minutes late but when it did arrive it was luke warm, I had to reheat it in the microwave. Although the food was tasty I was somewhat disappointed as I ordered a vindaloo that was not spicy at all in fact the vegetable curry was spicier. There were no signs of any chillies and no potato at all. This has put me off slightly and am concidering ordering elsewhere in future.

We ordered food from them via just eat and were told it would take 35-50 minutes. After ordering the time jumped to an hour and a half. After two hours the food had still not arrived and the phone simply rung out (though the website said they were still open). Incredibly unhappy with the lack of service.

Took the order knowing the address and accepted payment for the food and delivery Then an hour later calls to say they can't deliver as too far (8 miles)

1 star on customer service, I phoned for a delivery, 45 minutes later I'm still waiting so rung the restaurant to see if everything was OK The man who answered the phone the 2 time's I phoned was not very polite and put the phone down on me before I'd finished speaking. . Will review food if it arrives

Not the cleanest around the back is not good I would never eat food for there

I am disgusted with my order! Received my food and had a rediculously salty korma and ended up having to complain. After being told I would have a replacement delivered to me within half an hour, for it to be another half hour late! I requested to have a replacement garlic rice too as it was ruined by the curry. They replaced it with boiled plain rice and a watery disgusting korma that has little to no taste. Fuming isn’t the world as it was a treat I was well looking forward to. Safe to say I will never be ordering from Taj Mahal spice ever again.

First time for us. Absolutely excellent. Is now our regular go to take away.

Waiting 2 hours for food. They forgot the bombay aloo and the popadoms. Food that did arrive, chicken tikka was burnt. No apology from the delivery girl. Really disappointed as we have been a loyal customer for years. If this was a one-off, we woulf have let it go, but over the passed couple of months, they are constantly late and forget our food.

Worst food i have ever had....it was cold and everything tasted stale..i would never order from here again 🤢🤢

After waiting over an hour and a half on a Tuesday evening for this meal, it arrived cold. The nan bread was cold and soggy and the rest was inedible unless microwaved. I immediately contacted the restaurant and was faced with the pointless task of explaining that it was cold. The response from the restaurant was, "what do you want me to do about it, I'm in work". I asked if this was normal practice to warm your own food up as it gets to the house, to which the reply was the same. "what do you want me to do about it". Following that the man put the phone down on me. Food cold and bland , customer service shocking, waiting time not acceptable. We will not recommend.

Every Saturday with out fail life needs a BIG JA special Lal and the boys always look after me there top food stunning every week without fail

What a vile, rude man taking your order! They got the wrong house number, 1.5 hours later no food. My husband rang to see where the food was to be abused and told their new colleague had got the house number wrong and and he slammed the phone down! Calling back he was then told "Your food may be a bit cold". We advised we would not be paying nearly 40 pounds for cold food and this vile man then blamed my husband for getting the address house number wrong! Not recommended and never using again!

Ordered a large order to be delivered. Provided all details. After 1 and a half hours order didnt arrive. Rang restaurant and the waiter was extremely rude saying that the driver got address wrong. Food was cold and would never use again. Shame it could have been a good experience I am sure if they handled it better. Customer service 0/10

We get the meal for one and get 4 plates of food from it. Serves 4 that's the potion size here guys. Bloody lush 😍😍😍

I ordered food last night and found what looked like an inch long piece of plastic. When I contacted them I had no apology they sent a driver round to refund me but they also wanted our whole order returning. I didn't even get the full refund absolutely disgusting. I wouldn't have even given 1 star but it wouldn't allow me to remove it.

Been going here for at least 20 years. I think the fact that I've been using this takeaway that long says it all. Tried others but the service and quality of food is outstanding. 👍

Great food and great value. Highly recommend anyone that uses the other more established takeaways in Neath to give this one a go! Quality is very good, portions are bigger and service is always good. Only thing to be aware of is that they accept cash only in the shop.

We have been visiting the area regularly since 2009 for mountain biking. Every trip we make sure to have a meal from here. The quality, quantity and price is fantastic. For a group of up to 13 people we have never paid more than £100, and have never had a disappointing meal. Highly recommended.

I'm a Local near this Indian Takeaway and i have to say since i moved back to Neath. I found a GEM will always order from here while i am living in Neath. again today had a Rogan josh and it was Fantastic", i think the Kochi Dish is probably still best one they have too offer. Also the Cook here always matches every dish right exactly to the Description & the meat is extremely succulent!, 5 Stars from me. Daniel
