Island spice in East Lindsey

Really bad service and the food was discusting even my dog refused to eat the meat, don’t know how this shop is still open!!! The food tasted water down and not fresh,

Food was very nice also the serving was amazing and friendly

Ordered on way home from work chicken burger was not what it usually taste like also chips were under cooked and raw and hard this is the 1st time any issue even wen ordering late

First the positive - the guy who seated us (although clearly stessed) was very polite. Now the rest - we waited a fair while to place our order despite there being very few other people in the restaurant. The person who seated us was not the one who took our order and the young guy who served us was different again. This wouldn't have been a problem if not for the fact after every interaction we appeared to have been forgotton. After a long while (people who'd arrived after us had been served), my mother was given half a tepid OAP dinner (no accompaniments). We expected the rest would follow quickly but buy the time they did, she'd finished hers (still no accompaniments). We pointed out that my father (who had ordered the same thing) was missing his extras which never did materialise. The 'large' fish ordered wasn't even OAP sized, let alone small. Poor food. Not hot. The guy who had seated us was running about, shaking his head at the young server. Clearly chaos. We should have realised by the number of vacancies advertised on the door when we went in. Lesson learned. Too many chip restaurants in Skeg to waste your time and money in this one. Avoid.
