Amazing flavors and very kind server.

I went with my family for lunch on Eid's day and the experience was so disappointing. First of all, I don't know what the food is but for sure it is not Lebanese and they shouldn't call themselves a Lebanese restaurant. The taste and quality of food was not good and we all suffered form stomach upset afterwards, and some of us got food poisoned. We sent back some dishes as they didn't taste good, but they still charged us for them. Overall all, highly overpriced for the taste a d quality of food. Never again

This was our first time eating Lebanese food. The service and food are second to none!! A flavor explosion beyond compare. Esther, uncle and the rest of the family who run the restaurant are all very accommodating, helpful, friendly and taught us Lebanese cuisine and its customs with a lot of heart and humor. Despite the many guests they expected for dinner (Ramadan), they were always attentive and helpful!! If you were in Germany, we could imagine becoming regular guests. Thank you very much and all the best to the whole family!!

Always very fresh food Good service

On March 27 I visited Ishbilia for iftar to break my fast. Four hours after I ate I started to feel food poisoning symptoms and it couldn’t have been anything else as I had not eaten anything else the entire day. I’m very disappointed with the outcome as I expected this restaurant to have high quality food especially considering it’s not cheap at all. I was then sick for two days.

This was stunning, from the way they give the bread and dips to the succulent chicken shish and salad. They lay out the tables with white cloths and napkins and have immaculate service! I would recommend getting 2 portions for £25 each as 1 portion is quite small. Would also recommend the Virgin Mojito for only £19!

On Thursday night, my friends, wife, and I dined at this establishment to find the experience poor and expensive. We all suffered from upset stomachs, and I contracted gastroenteritis. The restaurant caters mainly to affluent patrons who must be unfamiliar with authentic Lebanese cuisine. I say this as someone married to a Lebanese. Despite our efforts to inform them of our dissatisfaction, they staunchly defended their food and service. Typical. Save your money and avoid. While I acknowledge your reply, as the proprietor, it's only natural for me to disassociate myself from any culpability regarding the severe gastroenteritis I suffered and your tendency towards argumentation during the phone conversation you had with my wife. You're inclined to portray us as the antagonists while positioning yourself as the virtuous figure. Merely having a 25-year running history doesn't guarantee the quality of the food is 100% every time. Isn't it curious that all of us fell ill that evening? Cease your attempts to curry favour with your patrons. It's embarrassing.

Excellent iftar meal. Even though the restaurant was full the service was very efficient. Fatteh makdoos is amazing.

Best Lebanese restaurant in London

This restaurant is simply amazing. The food is clearly made by a family of home cooks who reallly know how to make the perfect dish every time. I have been here every time I visit London. My advice is to get the humus and the halloumi. Do not skip on dessert! Thank me later. Nwor was our waiter, he was amazing as well. 10/10 experience.❤️

A highly praised restaurant. We tried it, but it was not that well furnished, but the service was less than good, but they were subjected to what I thought was crowded, because the restaurant was normal, but the food was good and nice, and the prices were high.

The manager made me feel very unwelcome at the end of the meal, his attitude changed because we did not tip extra after already paying service charge. This begging attitude is pathetic. I will stick to em sherif

Had heard about Ishbilia a while back but didn't get the chance until last weekend went with a couple of of friends. It was packed on a Saturday and had a lovely buzzing atmosphere. The waiters are extremely attentive and service very efficient. We had shish tawook which was succulent, koussa bil laban as a main too and a few starters, hummus Beiruty, foul, falafel, grille halloumi cheese and tabbouleh. All delicious! We also had knafe for dessert. We're ordered two as it was amazing.. Will definitely go again.

We had our engagement dinner at Ishbilia and we couldn’t be happier with choosing this restaurant. We hired out the private dining area and everything exceeded our expectations from the service to the food. Our waiters, namely Zjolti, were diligent and attentive. I was also liaising with Mahmoud, the manager, in preparation for the dinner and he was always so helpful and accommodating throughout the process. Thank you! Ishbilia will always have a special place in my heart!

We have popped into the White Horse in Sutton for a bracing drink after a dog walk or a chill down with a decent glass of wine a number of times. The atmosphere, the service and the team created by Emma and Billy are exceptional. Today we eventually got round to dining. In short - fabulous. Superb cuisine - the best I have tasted in West Sussex for a long while, service that manages to be both friendly, professional and unobtrusive. It was a really really lovely lunch.
