Iroko Restaurant Bar & Lounge in Barnet

Ordered on uber eats and paid £19 to get TWO tiny pieces of beef. I thought it was a mistake at first. The Jollof rice and plantain were also burned (you can see it a bit on the side). The rice from the Jollof was from the bottom of the pot and had black burnt grains of rice mixed in and tasted completely burnt. Absolutely disgusting. Whoever dished out this food should be ashamed. I have never experienced this at Demi’s, Enish, or any other Nigerian Restaurant in London. Especially with the portions.

Proper Nigerian food. Very delicious I could eat here everyday.

Whenever I order Nigerian food I am often reminded that homemade cooking is far more superior and not to (on the rare occasions that I do) order Nigerian take out again. Authentic, fresh tasting food cooked with love is what one would expect. Instead I was delivered a small portion size of Egusi Stew with little taste. I sought to change an item on the order 5 mins after placing it via phone but was rudely shut down. Unsure if the rudeness was deliberate or if that's just how staff communicate but what was made clear is that they could not be bothered and had better things to do with their time. The main number on their website does not go through at all...first and last time for me.

Food is good! Authentic taste!!! Portions are large Service though, not so great. They’re also difficult to get through to, the number on google doesn’t connect, I suggest trying the mobile on their website

Exceeded my expectations. You delivered to me in watford and the food was still piping hot & delicious. First time order and I will definitely order again.

The same spirit of uselessness that followed them from the days of mama Cass has now followed them into Iroko. Can’t stick to opening times, can’t answer phone, forever working extremely hard to lose customers.

Good luck trying to get through. Staff don’t answer phone no one cares.was going to book for 50 guests now I will look for somewhere else. As you can see no one cares about the reviews.

Inconsiderate unprofessional noisy place

Restaurant was quite noisy, if your clientele are over 40s, why such loud music. Loud music and eating don’t go together, this is why 5* restaurants play mellow tunes but my Nigerians may disagree. It was giving beer parlour in Edgware vibe. Hire a professional manager. I was given fried lamb cutlets with a side of dried pepper as Asun. 1. Pepper, onions and seasoning are the basics for making an Asun sauce for stewing the meat. 2. Not everyone likes lamb, let people know of menu substitutions. This can cause problems.

Good food. All Nigerian drinks sold. Parking is a bit scanty. Parking on road at your own risk

Tasty food, lovely ambience, and good customer service. Except, the time it takes from placing your order to being served ........ order a drink and be patient ☺️

Disrespectful and disgusting behaviour. Especially my friend used to live there he said he was always annoyed and disturbed by them and their loud music when he had to get up at 6am for work and they don’t even care.
