IRO Sushi in Bexley

I visited with 2 of my friends for dine in, the service was fast but it wasn’t catered towards dining in. It seemed more like a takeaway. However, the food was tasty. The portion sizes are small so we did have to order extra but it came very quickly so it was still nice to have with the rest of our food. We were also given free chocolate mochi as the workers were also Nepali which was the best possible dessert.

Did not order in person so cannot comment on the atmosphere, but food was delivered on time and was still very warm! All food was absolutely delicious. Will be ordering again!

First order tonight, will definitely use again! Food was delicious and fresh, packaging was great. We had selection of starters and katsu curry, really good! Highly recommend

Ordered on Uber eats many times and the sushi is always so good and fresh. Ordered in person for the first time, cashier was so sweet and accommodating. It’s great to put a face to my favourite place to order, will be ordering again soon!

Not sure how many times I have come to IRO Sushi Welling, but it is nice to know that they take notice of regular costumers. Always great service and chill atmosphere. The food is always amazing and great tasting. Can't wait to come back again, and again! P.S Can't get enough of the Takoyaki! Update - 12/01/24 They're still on point with the food and care for customers. Number 1! Update - 18/12/24 Still the best!

love this place and the owners are very nice 10/10 recommend but it can be a bit expensive

I had the dynamite crunchy salmon rolls which were incredible 10/10. However, the chicken katsu noodles were disappointing. It looked like it had been prepared a long time ago and the quality of the ingredients was poor. There was also a lack of care that had been taken with this dish. I think this place is brilliant for sushi but they don't really know what they're doing when it comes to hot dishes.

the noodles are just boiled noodles with chicken and spinach!!!!!? I have ordered the same item and before and this is the first time I'm receiving rubbish ... if I wanted plain noodles I would make it myself...

Delicious! Everything was cooked perfectly, and was perfectly portioned. Never tried Japanese pancakes before, so so nice.

I’ve ordered at least 40 times from here. The tuna was a light pink and not red tonight and smelt weird. Sort it out! I had to throw all the tuna maki

Driver, took on too many orders so my order was completely wrong, there’s no point in giving orders codes if the drivers aren’t going to use them! Now me and my toddler don’t have a dinner and I’ve got a very tired a whingey baby

The delivery driver took so long to deliver my food, and kept saying he couldn’t come. He also didn’t understand English which made it really hard. The food is now cold.

Ordered through uber eats, it came early and exceeded all expectations! I didn’t even get to take a picture because we just dug in! I haven’t even finished and I just HAD to write this review. The salmon boxes were SO perfect, the rice to fish ratio is perfect, the fish is so fresh and tasty. The portion sizes are fantastic value. Please keep doing what you’re doing!! After coming back from Japan I keep getting upset that the sushi restaurants/takeaways here aren’t great. But Iro Sushi Welling is carryinnggggggg!

Poke bowl very disappointing, nothing like the bowls served at the Lewisham or Eltham branch. Filled with lettuce for some odd reason and barely any rice, also served in a much smaller bowl.

It's a 5 min drive from the eatery to our house and I could see the driver dropping another order on the other side of town. Some of the food was lukewarm and soggy by the time it reached us.

Driver clearly has no concept of addresses....ordered to my shop as always with no issue and this time driver is sitting in his car at the back of my shop...I had to go looking for him

usually order from a different branch of this chain and the difference is night and day. poorer packaging, even. the poke bowl is smaller and padded with salad leaves which aren't even in it from the other branch. feels like a rip off in comparison. sauce was also poured all over instead of in a pot so I could decide how much to put on. won't be ordering again, even if the other branch is closed like today, I'll get something different

I asked for the delivery at 4 when I would be ready for it. At 5 to 4 the delivery person banged on the door and left the food on the ground outside the house. I ran downstairs as soon as I heard the knocks. He was walking away and made a gesture with his hand. I found all this unnecessary and rude. Although the food was nice to taste it was not as well delivered and this means I will not buy from iro sushi again.

Our go to for sushi. Has never let us down. Always have quick delivery. The Katsu curry is consistently delicious and delivered hot too. Highly recommend.

Noodles were supposed to be stir fried, but they were just boiled and completely dry

Have been trying to find a halal replacement of wasabi that I really like, and this was absolutely spot on.

I ordered a few times and am really satisfied. After getting tired of mcd and Dominos, I order from here. Very homely and comforting food consistent on each occasion. I wish they could add more curry sauce on their chicken katsu curry. I always run out of curry with half of the rice still to finish. Packaging is excellent. Thank you for such a great meal delivery.

Tasty food delivered quickly - can't recommend eniugh

I ordered delivery. The food arrived hot and on time. The quality was excellent. I would try another dish next time though as I found the noodles a little bland. I ended up just eating the chicken and vegetables. Good portion size. I had for 2 meals.

Very disappointed. Miso was way too salty and prawns in sushi were not cleaned at all. It was wrapped with all shells. Everything went to the bin. What a waste of money.

Orders tonight chicken ramen x2 hardly any chicken we’ve used before used to be good we called to tell them no chicken hardly . They said that’s portion size . What would you like us to do . No help won’t be using again awful service. Other s nearby much better .

Chicken Katsu Curry was really tasty, good portions to. Spring rolls were nice and crispy, not greasy. Would definitely order again.

Wow ! I found my new favourite sushi takeaway! I'm impressed with the quality of the food! I recommend the chicken katsu salad - it was super fresh, crispy, crunchy and tasty.The vegetable spring rolls and veggie sushi were really yummy too. Great portions as well. Thank you !!

The seaweed wrapping was very chewy and the spicy tuna was incredibly hot.

Food was nice as always.. but.. literally it was salmon and rice and very LITTLE sauce, and one tomato, and a few bits of pickled ginger.. I was expecting more vegetables .. not a slither

Food is really good, but very poor service for a couple of reasons 1) they were running a promotion where the 7th order was meant to be 50% off. Today when I contact them to say my 7th order has no discount applied they tell me this has been pulled at the end of June. There was no mention of a timeline ever, on the app or on the text messages. I feel totally misled as a customer. When I contacted their manager, he said the terms were provided in June last year - so, all the customers using the app and calling on the phone have no clue about these terms (neither did the branch) 2) most of the staff struggle to comprehend and converse in English appropriately. While they are courteous in person, they can be quite curt over the phone. Such a shame that I won't be ordering from here again, as we really liked the food

Ordered delivery through deliveroo. Came on time, no issues. Great prawn tempura 😋🍤 was still a bit warm when it arrived. The batter was light and crispy. Good & tasty sushi and sashimi. I will order from here again when I crave sushi ☺️ maybe I will try more hot food options Cant comment on atmosphere as I didn't go to the shop.

The pictures do not represent what you actually get. I ordered the spicy Raman which shows a chicken fillet on top of the soup. However the actual meal consisted of a lot of soup and just 4 tiny pieces of cut up chicken. Would never order again.

The service is appalling! Two days in a row that i ordered dinner and both got cancelled. The first order was given to the wrong delivery guy who ended up eating my food and today they cancelled the order at the last minute because they were “too busy”!!! IRO Sushi, i suggest you get better staff and management. Unfortunately i can’t give it 0 stars!

We've been visiting IRO since they opened their Welling branch and experienced both, eat-in & take-away services. Do not expect fancy dining as this very much take-away oriented establishment. BUT they more than make up for the lack of "fanciness" - their food is amazingly tasty & always fresh & well prepared. If you cannot put up with a constant stream of couriers collecting food, have a take-away. This is a little gem & people running it are REALLY nice. Give this place a try if you haven't been yet 😊

I ordered the salmon selection box and for the price it was great value for money. Salmon was extremely fresh and tasteful and the salmon avacado rolls were delicious. The thing that took me by surprise the most was how fresh the rice tasted and wasnt dry like other sushi chains. Definitely looking forward to ordering from here again

Fish was not fresh especially tuna . It was impossible le to eat so I had to throw this away . Very dissapointed 😞

I have ordered the spicy chicken ramen a few times and every time the dish although fantastic in itself, the chicken bits in the dish have smelled funny, and definitely not fresh. Needs a check from the restaurant.

Food is always excellent from Iro Sushi and the portion sizes are good. The noodles were very tasty and filling.

Ordered the 20 maki mix and the tuna maki has a bad smell and bad taste to it, phoned the store and they apologised, it looks like the tuna is already spoiled.

This time was mostly rice. there were no ingredients inside. The deep dry was fully burned, diff to eat. No refund was provided, I sent a picture of the food, and no one contacted me as well. I was very disappointed as the order was over over £74. The big part of the food went to the bin. I do like sushi, and previously, i both from them many times (once a week), and there were no issues. But to not contact the customer after complaint it is very disappointing 😕!!!!
