Very quiet for Sunday carvery, food was pretty average.

The food was good, service good and atmosphere good. Would recommend to anyone.

when i went there wasn't a lot of people there. nice a quirte and relaxing on a sunday.

The staff were the redeeming feature of this experience. Hard working friendly and attentive. Young lad on the bar worked his socks off!! Disapointed that no child's menu on offer was pointed out to us, we'd been told it was carvery only so we paid for a childs carvery that was barely touched. The food was OK nothing special, bog standard vegetables, medicore at best. Dispointed after hearing good reviews.

Beautiful pub. Lovely park for the kids. Friendly atmosphere.

Both the food and the staff are lovely here. I would definitely eat here again if visiting Marton. A well earned 5 stars

Nice little pub shame no fire was lit but it's nice drinks are not too expensive

Fantastic roast dinner (carvery) The meat just melted in your mouth, and the veg, potatoes, and gravy were so tasty. We will definitely be coming back.

Lovely setting great service. The food just let's the place down. For the prices I expected home made Yorkshire pudding but got a frozen shop bought. The meat wasn't nice at all. Bring back proper homemade food and a good cook then the place would be a 5 star.

Visited after a few years gap. Pub is looking shabby now especially outside area. Broken stuff everywhere. Food was nothing to write home about. Had fish and chips and the batter was horrendous. Very small menu too. What a shame, used to love this place

1st class quality meal & service for me and my good lady - i had sirloin steak with pepper sauce whilst she had chicken korma. Both dishes were excellent, better than expected really - nice pint of john smiths too finishing with 2 irish coffees - a good price overall and wouldnt hesitate to recommend to everyone.

Amazing food every time we go,relaxed atmosphere, lovely welcoming staff enjoyerable place to go definitely worth a visit even if only for a drink, lovely to sit in conservatory or outside. I would recommend there🙂

My wife and I called in to the Ingleby Arms last Thursday for a evening meal and we were not disappointed. The food was delicious, friendly staff and quick service. We will definitely be going again.

Always has and slways will be a great place for food. Been going every now and again for years now. Disappointed in the fact that Yorkshire puds were heated from frozen and the chicken wasn't its best but still overall good staple food and affordable.

Used many times before, always been a fantastic meal. First time being since before Covid. Meal quality is much reduced. Meat was a bit fatty, frozen Yorkshire pudding, slow service. Probably won’t go back again for a while.

Tho it is out of town, it is worth it ,..A good place to go for a very nice meal,veg etc is home cooked and well presented ,and while Clovid restrictions are in place, the staff go out their way to help, we have being their many times,and it has never disappointed us

Service was with a smile, even with face masks on. The place was clean and welcoming. Tables well spaced. Atmosphere was pleasant. A proper family pub environment. Food was great and the portion size was more than acceptable as was the price. Thanks for having us, even on short notice.

Excellent service and standard of hygiene First class

Visited 16/8/20 after a recommendation. Food was excellent Unfortunately service was very poor. We ordered 3 identical roast beef dinners and one turned up with no roast potatoes,and there was very little veg.we were then ignored for 30 minutes after we finished our main meal and had to eventually ask a waitress (who were all talking in a group around the corner) if we could order desert. The staff weren’t talkative or engaging to the point of rudeness. We also weren’t asked if we required anymore drinks (which we would have) or if we enjoyed our meal at the end. Won’t return which is a shame because the food was excellent.

We & friends had the carvery which was a choice of pie,chicken pork or beef.I had the steak pie with mash & veg .For afters I had the Roly poly dessert with custard .It was very reasonably priced, with friendly service.The pub looked nice with a child friendly play area

I haven't had a terrible in ages. I was told this place was excellent. Far from it, over cooked everything is except the salad. I wouldn't travel to far for this restaurant.

Food was amazing. Think me n my friend got forgotten coz ppl who came in after us was getting their food before us. But other than that service was good n we weren't charged for our main meal. Would certainly be back again

Food was ok but the service was slow. There was 10 of us and they brought one meal out at a time so by the time the last plate came out the first few people that hot there meal had finished eating

We have been going to ingleby arms every Fri for tea for years. The staff are lovely the food is lovely. It has a typical village pub atmosphere. My grandchildren love playing outside in the play area. I would recommend it to anyone.

After a half hour wait, for 6 mains to arrive, on a quiet Friday teatime, we were all disappointed. When going out to eat, I always think it should be better than I can knock up at home. This was not the case. Salad not dressed, brown lettuce, 1 slice of dried up cucumber.........yum. No point answering how you would like your steak cooking, as overdone appears to be the only option. Plates were scorching hot which is why I think the steak carried on cooking. We had to go to the bar to refill our drinks, as nobody ever came to check on anything. Had heard good reports about this place, however we will not be darkening this particular doorstep again. I usually leave a tip for staff but nothing about this visit made me want to any extra. Infact the basic bill was too much for the sub standard of food and service. I have now upgraded stars awarded. Revisited with different family and was pleasantly surprised. Revisited on a Sunday. Carvery was delicious and thoroughly enjoyed. Far better than previously experienced so new star award definitely deserved. I also left a tip this time too.

Birthday celebration for an auntie

Lovely meal with the family. Rang them up for a large booking and they accommodated all of us well. Told them what we wanted a day before hand and they brought everyone’s food out exactly how we wanted it. Nothing was wrong with our orders. And we got plenty of food for what we paid. So thank you again.
