2nd time I've been here, the beer is absolutely fantastic with a great choice. Prices vary depending on what percentage you want to bring. Atmosphere is brilliant and it is a place I would go to time and time again.

I was very disappointed in thIS CAMRA 2024 Beer Guide entry. Only 1 real ale. I did not read the entry carefully enough. 12 changing beers are fizzy craft. I am not a fan and voted against CAMRA recognising over priced craft keg fizz. Nice enough bar over 3 levels plus outside pavement seating but NOT a real ale emporium according to Albrecht.

If you like real and craft ale then this place is a must to visit

One of the best places in kendal on a rainy afternoon!

I went to this place on the weekend and had a lovely time. As I walked in, I could feel a nice warm welcome by the locals in there. The member of staff that served me was very friendly and inviting. They have a really nice range of alcoholic drinks to choose from and the atmosphere was very soothing. I would highly recommend this place to anyone in the area or passing by.

2 friendly guys behind the bar, fab variety beers - picked some up for my dad. Great atmosphere, sat outside plenty of seating 😀

Cracking wee find in Kendal , if you like your craft/cask ales then look no further than here . Had about 12 beers on tap when we visited last weekend(take note of the ceiling adorned with pump clip badges) , very busy over the hour or so we spent there and for a 'one man band' operation he coped brilliantly with the customers . Also I doff my cap to the musical tastes of the owner , who had a fine array of Indie tunes playing in the background 👌🏻😎 If we didn't have a gig at Brewery Arts that evening we'd have probably spent all night there ..

Kendal Weekend - Feb '24 - Great bar, fantastic choice of craft ale/craft beer on tap, bottle and cans. Plenty of space upstairs, but only one toilet. Definitely one of the best craft ale bars in Kendal. Dog friendly! 3rd and last night in Kendal. We had the Polly's Brewery: Heavens Below pale 5.5% and Neptune Brewery: Pactolus golden ale 4%.

An excellent, ever-changing, selection of delicious beers in a friendly, relaxed setting with a great playlist. Bonus points for providing the option to order 2/3 pint (the perfect size!) and for the vast array of canned beers available to take away.

Called in here one Sunday afternoon whilst visiting the area and there were two lovely sours on tap, so we ended up staying for a few!!! Plenty of seating indoors and out, including a lovely seating area upstairs! Great little bar with a chilled atmosphere, would definitely pop in again if we are ever in Kendal!

One of my favourite bars in the country! Superb selection of bottles and cans, as well as 6-8 (if I remember correctly) draught options, covering the entire craft beer landscape. The fridge is a sight to behold for any beer lover. The ambience is warm and friendly, there's indoor and outdoor seating (I believe they are hoping to move to a bigger venue directly across from the current place) and the tunes are decent too! My last visit I got to try my favourite beer on tap for the first time! If you like great beer and are in or near to Kendal this place is an absolute must 🍻👍

The venue is a bit small but then it's in the centre of Kendal. There's always a great selection of drinks on tap (and in the fridge or on the shelf) so you're pretty much guaranteed to find something that you like.

Beer Mecca! A fantastic selection of craft in a brilliant atmosphere. Aidy is super friendly and really knows his stuff. Dog friendly too which is an added bonus. We really enjoyed our visit and will be sure to return next time we are in the area.

An absolute Mecca for beer drinkers. The selection on the blackboard is constantly changing, and there’s a couple of fridges full of cans (see picture) too! Adrian (the owner) can point you in the right direction if you feel a little overwhelmed by the options and is always very accommodating. Wine and spirits also available for those not as into beer as the rest of us!

An absolute must visit if you're in or anywhere near Kendal. His hospitality is second to none, helping us to find food asking the locals to help us out and letting us eat takeaway at his tables!! Amazing selection of beers too - absolutely not to be missed

Nice find in Kendal, especially coming out of lockdown. Good vibes and excellent ale choice. Brilliant service, and can talk thru the different beers. Reminds me of some places in Northern Quarter places:) Highly recommend to anyone into their ales and around Kendal.

Visited recently - great beer selection, some good solid craft beers as well as some more leftfield ones, which is what you want. The guy working there was friendly and knowledgeable. Option to drink in too which is a bonus.

Great place if you are a craft beer fan. Really good and varied selection of drinks. Regularly changes amd updates the range so always something new to try. Perfect customer service and to top it of a really fine choice of music. Regular stop off point.

Awesome craft beer bar in the heart of Kendal! A large variety of beers available to buy from Pales, IPAs, Stouts and Sours. They also have 4 beers on keg which change regularly. We have travelled through a couple of times now and each time always had a warm friendly welcome. The owner is obviously very passionate about his business and the world of craft beer and can advise you on whatever you fancy. There is a small seating area downstairs, outside seats and a cosy room upstairs with some good background music too! I really rate this place, I'm gutted I don't live a bit closer as I would be here every week!! 😋🙌 Good tip: The Indie Craft website has an up to date list of all the beers available, and if you check there Instagram they post the latest releases on there. I have messaged them a couple of times and the owner has very kindly put me a few beers to one side so that I didn't miss out! 👌 Thanks again!!

Awesome beer shop. Up there for me as one of my favourites. Guy serving yesterday had in-depth knowledge about every can I asked about and was super helpful. Will definitely go back.
