I’ve been a Waterbeach resident for years, always eager to support local gems. My second visit to Miah’s Indian left me struggling to muster more than three stars. To start, they haven’t bothered updating their name on Google Maps, leading to my order being canceled on Just Eat. Reordering was a half-hour ordeal. Miah’s is more of a takeaway shed than a restaurant – you truly get what you pay for. If you enjoy vivid food coloring, their dishes are a fluorescent orange delight. BBQ style meats can double as paperweights given their dryness. Ordering is a game of roulette since their menu lacks pictures, making portion sizes a surprise. For an economical experience, try Tesco's Chicken Tikka Masala with Pilau Rice at £3.50. Some restaurants serve reheated pre-cooked meals, and I suspect Miah’s leans heavily on this profitable model. Still, it’s worth a shot for a casual weekend meal with friends. Pro tip: share starchy dishes like Pilau Rice or Naan between two people – it’s plenty. Despite their saucy dishes being more sauce than substance, I emerged with my skin tone unaltered by their colorful cuisine. Dive in, have a laugh, and enjoy a "Happy Indian"!

I don't recommend it! There is hair in the dishes, what should be hot is cold, the plates are dirty

Quality of the food was not great. The chicken was very rubbery and the fish has a strong taste of ammonia.

Always our go to Indian. Tasty, reasonably priced and generous size portions...what more do you want?! Definitely recommend.

These days we find all curries taste the same no matter what you order. This restaurant however produces completely different flavoured dishes and amazing flavour rice. Very underrated. They will even mix something up for you. We order king prawn Saagwala Rogan Josh.

Fantastic food and very friendly staff. I dined in even though its not really set up as a restaurant, the eating area is more café like. The food is 1st rate. The outside could do with tidying up as there is rubbish outside that is visible on both sides from the road and building itself is in need of smartened up. I would still go back there, but I feel they would be alot busier of they made more effort on the appearance.

Lovely hot food. The Madras was ever so spicy. Made me sweat 😂 I've never had such a spicy one. No idea how spicy it's supposed to be. Very quiet in there. Small eating area. Will definitely go again. Will not go for a Madras again. Too hot for me.

One of the worst meals I ever had.

It’s been 3 times now that they cancelled my order on Uber and this time I did not even receive my refund. Been a week. They always cancel orders if it’s less than £25. Really unhappy with their services

Thank you very much for the lovely meal from you last night. It was very warm (hotter than some meals we have eaten in restaurants). Delivered early by a very polite gentleman and tasted absolutely gorgeous. Thank you we will be back.

They don’t know what a parotta is and dont use salt in their food and their curry tastes sweet.

Have had a takeaway on many occasions and everytime the food has been cooked well. Great portions too. Will keep using them.

First time ordered after change in management and really surprised by the quality. The tandoori mixed platter is dipped with food color and chicken tastes rubbery. Tandoori prawns cost £12.90 for exactly 6 pieces. Below average food for the price of fine dining!!

First time ordering from Indian Kitchen; did so via Uber Eats. Very impressed overall. We typically order from Indian Ocean in Histon, which is a fantastic, well-established curry house. Our order from Indian Kitchen today featured really nice flavours and good portions. And it’s more affordable that some other curry houses. We ate a mixture of old favs and something new. Saag, daal, naan and rice were very much the quality we’d expect at any good curry place. The Tikka Badami was a welcome change. Something we hadn’t tried before and it was really nice. Don’t hesitate. Give it a go. We’re glad we did.

Just ordered for delivery good points first food arrived very quickly in around 20 mins. Poppadoms where delicious and the mango chutney that i dont normaly like was good. Good size portions and looked lovely.. Pilau Rice was heavily flavoured with something which i could not place not unpleasant but it was overpowering. I had Lamb dopiaza the sauce was lovely and thick but lacked any real flavour there where some nice big chunks of onion, peppers and Lamb unfotunately the lamb tasted boiled but was tender apart from one very large piece of fat. The Keema Naan i could not eat as it was all overpowered by too much chilli powder. I would rate this as below average and would not really reccommend it based on this experiance. Would i try it again? Maybe if there where no other choices.

Ordered take away a few times-- awesome flavours and delicious curries

First time tonight, and cannot really fault it. Only criticism is too much sauce, not a bad thing as plenty of meat and stuff. Flavours really really good, rice good poppadoms good. Really can't fault it, good job guys, definitely ordering again. Hmmmmm maybe a 5, will see next time lol

Firstly the food was delicious. Secondly was delivered in 52 minutes with 2 complimentary popadoms. The food was hot and well proportioned over all very happy and thank you very much for the delicious food.

A bit out of the way. Menu is fairly average but with some interesting specialities. Fairly cheap prices tho. Food was OK, but not amazing. Chicken tikka was good, lamb tikka also good. Three stars is not bad, it's ok and would probably return if I'm in the area.

Ok but not as good as a year ago. Will give one more try.

No high chairs for kids. Lighting was poor. Very outdated

We saw the name “Taste of Goa” whilst in the area and decided to pop in as we love Goan food( been there 3 times on holiday) Although the staff were polite, the menu was disappointing. This clearly isn’t a Goan menu but a North Indian one. There wasn’t a single pork dish on the menu nor anything truly Goan. Very misleading!

Been to this lovely restaurant last Wednesday with my family. The food was absolutely amazing. Especially Goa Special and Goa King Prawn was just so tasty. My wife loved the Pineapple Heaven dessert after a delightful meal.

Visited here as a group of 4 and was not disappointed. We were staying in the area working, passed the restaurant during the day and decided to give it a try. It was a Monday night so the dining area was quiet but the staff were very attentive and helpful. We had starters and mains, all of which were tasty and good quality. I would recommend this place to try

Tasted ok had chicken tikka phall but only 5 pieces of chicken in it half the size of a golf ball not acceptable when ya paying around £10 for a main dish no where as good as Bollywood

Terrible food, onion bhajis soggy , microwaveable Tesco ones are better, rice was a joke and the chicken was a challenge to eat.

i m ust say we went to the taste of goa on a sunday nite and from the outside we did not exspect it to be as good as it was , the staff were very polite and the service was top notch ,,now for the food , this was to die for , great food ,was full of taste and flavours of goa, good quality and the best ive had for along time , a real delight give it a try and your enjoy it , well done to the staff and we will be back with out friends 5 stars from me

Been to taste of Goa a couple of times now. Appears still in process of decorating but no matter . The food was delicious and nicely presented. I am vegan partner vegetarian and we were well catered for no trouble tweaking dishes we wanted. Waiter Hanif is attentive professional and very friendly. Please give this restaurant a try as was very quiet both times we were in. Live little downham.but well worth the trip! We be using regularly.

Curry was very poor. Lacked any depth of flavour. Many better choices around cambridge.

First visit here. Would definitely come back. Friendly, helpful, polite staff. Food had usual choices as well as extras and different menu choices. We choose some old favourites and some new dishes. The whole building has been recently refurbished so was clean, fresh and nicely decorated.
