Very good range of plants. Good value

Very disappointing place what's a waste of time 😕

Generally pretty good. The plants are in good health and they stock a smallish range of other garden products. Slightly more expensive in general, but you feel you get what you pay for.

Good selection of wild bird food. Plants looked ok as well.

Got what I wanted.varied stock of plants and shrubbs.Helpful and knowledgeable staff.

Picked up some plants on offer. Couldn't find any cut flowers though

Nice garden centre, pricey .No coffee shop ,shame as its the nearest place to Arrington village .Really should consider opening one they would get more customers .

Extremely knowledgeable and helpful. As landscapers we cannot recommend this place highly enough. Dealt with Andy who had the patience of a saint and couldnt have been more friendly, approachable and helpful. Our plant supplier of choice locally.

Nice tidy garden centre, however once chosen goods required stood at till for 5 mins and also pressed bell for service with no response. Ended up walking out.

Love this garden center. Have driven past it loads of times, but we made a pact to visit it. House plant section is really good, and the staff are really nice. Will definitely go back again.

Friendly place to buy a quality Christmas tree.

Popped in to buy a Christmas tree before the weekend rush. Absolutely delighted with the vast choice of size and very reasonable price, especially since we'd already travelled further afield to find one that had been disappointing. Very helpful and friendly staff member too. Highly recommend

Simply the best garden centre around! No cafe,none of the normal tatt they you have in other centre’s. Good quality plants alot home grown, plenty of parking,always helpful pleasant knowledgeable staff.

Amazing choice with flowers plants etc. Was looking for medium water can and didn't find it. Garden mirrors were too expensive.

Not a planned visit to the garden centre, and we are not local, but passing we went in. Very quiet here and plenty of parking. Lady was very helpful in choosing our house plants. If passing again, would revisit. Turning right on exit can take some patience, so take care.

Great - a proper little nursery, half the price of the bigger places probably because it has no cafe, toilets or gift shop. It does have a lovely selection of healthy plants and really helpful, happy staff (Nick!) And the best choice of pots, planters,composts.

We discovered this lovely garden center by accident (took a wrong turn at the roundabout) and fell in love with it. Staff is extremely friendly and knowledgeable and the plant selection at this garden center is fabulous and very unusual. We have since bought countless number of banana trees from this place as well as other tropical looking plants and they never disappoint. We have been coming here for over 2 years now and definitely worth our 30 mins drive to the center (we have three garden center all within 10 mins from our house but we prefer Arrington)

First time we have been there staff very helpful & polite, plenty of lovely plants unfortunately we didn't have a lot of room to put them in the car .

Short visit just after lockdown, but this garden center has been open all the time. Good selection of plants and most things you will need here. Staff were very friendly. Worth a visit.

Large car park. Very friendly staff. Also a nurseries which grows a lot of plants in house. A treasure to find. Prices seem very reasonable. Has a coffee shop but not open at the moment.

Lovely little garden centre. They grow a lot of their own plants on site and sell a good range of pots and other gardening supplies. Friendly staff who will carry heavy things to your car. It has a small cafe but that's obviously closed at the moment due to Covid.

We do love Arrington Garden Centre and do make a purchase each time we go especially in these hard times. There is no doubt that the garden centre is suffering financially from a lack of customers so we really do hope the place can look forward to happier times when the covid has been beaten.

Nice small Garden centre, quiet in the middle of the week so no problems social distancing. A good selection of plants ,all looked healthy and mostly at reasonable prices. Small unusual fern for £3.99 and a large Rubecia with plenty of buds For £ 6.99

Popped in today to buy slate, decided to purchase some plants with the help of very informative staff Tony and Emma. Came away with lots of lovely plants plus other items. Very helpful would definitely recommend 👍

Great garden centre. Not a massive centre but it has enough lovely plants etc.

Always helpful with excellent advice. I hope they don't go the way of the bigger GCs and look like a department store. The range and quality of plants is excellent. And their pricing is good. The cafe is good but remember the GC side of the business is primary.

Quiet due to CV19, so not much of a selection of veg plants...

Well we're still a little locked down and I was in a bit of a rush but the member if staff was extremely helpful. They didn't have the compost I required but told me the correct mix I needed to get it right. Indoor and outdoor area (didn't look at the outdoor area), indoors looked very good. Social distancing still in place so the cage was closed. Definately one more for the gardener, nit full of clothes and cheap but overpriced ornaments like so many are these days. Right up my street! (I meant cafe, not cage. Maybe they do have a cage for unruly customers? I don't know. I could have changed but it amused me so I left it ;-))

If you are looking for something a little different to your conventional and traditional plants then Arrington is definitely the place to go. Even though there are garden centres closer to where I live I always choose this place as it has so many different plants, the prices are very good and the staff are extremely helpful. In my opinion the best garden centre throughout Cambrdigeshire and Hertfordshire.

We had a lovely bowl of tomato and basil soup with granary bread and butter and a cup of tea. Very flavoursome and filling. It is a shame it is not more busy but it does not do hot food at lunchtime except for soup, but seemed to have more people coming in after we left. It does do sandwiches, cakes, scones etc.as well as drinks. Quite close in location to a National Trust property. Very good garden centre too to look round.

Very interesting range of plants at good prices

My second visit having come by last Spring. It was a really cold day so it was nice to see lots of colour and smell the scents! Picked up some primroses and bird food. Had soup and then cake. The cafe was nice and warm! Gift shop is now garden bits and bobs. Can’t wait until Summer!

I popped in to the garden centre with a friend as it was so cold we both had soup and fresh bread which was lovely. The lady in the cafe was very lovely and helpful. They did some nice plants and I brought a lovely wooden quote sign for my hall way.

Stopped here for a look around and something to eat last Sunday morning. The place opens at 10.300 so standing around for a few minutes was ok, eventually they opened up. The shop is not worth looking round next to nothing on display. A few plants outside but really not worth the trip there unless you are after a bag or compost ! We decided to go into the cafe, we asked for a couple of drinks and a asked what hot food was available. The bored looking lady just said no hot food. That abruptly ended the conversation. we looked at the very few cakes on offer, they looked like they had seen better days clearly left overs like the few sandwiches which were available. This has to be the worst garden centre we have been to we will not be going back, with lack of items to view and rudeness of staff, no thank you.

Most enjoyable afternoon tea nicely presented and very tasty . It’s certainly on a list to visit again when we are that way again

Lovely selection of Christmas trees 🎄! Visited in the Summer and the place was full of plants and now it’s a mini forest! A member of staff helped me pick my tree and carried it to the car. Another festive job done.

A small-ish garden centre, but still with most things you could need there! Staff have been very knowledgeable and everything is a good price.

Very well kept plants at good prices, A good selection of more unusual plants it is nice to find a garden centre that puts plants ahead of merchandise. I will definitely be back soon.

Fantastic visit yesterday. Gets better each time we visit. So many unusual plant varieties that you don't see at the major garden centres and we'll stocked with good quality sundry items too. All plants look so healthy and the displays are gorgeous. Yummy cake and coffee in the cafe. Such a refreshing change.

Quite a stunning garden centre, can we call it compact,but the amount of plants shrubs bushes and trees is quite formidable. The knowledge of the staff is mind blowing, polite helpful and then after seeing everything go for a well deserved tea or coffee and maybe a bite to eat, the only hot food you can purchase is the homemade soup of the day. If you want something more substantial just turn left on the way out and go to the Hardwicke Arms who do really good meals plus you can have shandy ( lol ). Both places well worth a visit.

Its a nice place, we got some tomato plants and seeds plus trays and compost nice price too. The cafe we had a cappuccino latte and chocolate drink with scone & jam a date flapjack chocolate cornflake slice. All very lovely. The staff are very friendly helpful and available to give advice. We will be going back there soon.

This small garden centre knows how to grow plants, with bigger and longer established garden centres in the area, Arrington gc, have bigger, healthier and cheaper plants, oh and it has a lovely cafe. 🙂

I have always driven past on the way to work but thought as it was the weekend, I’d visit. Busy weekend but a big cafe. Had a slice of cake and tea and people watched! A sunny day so also had a wander around the plants. Will be swinging by again.

Came here on April 11th at ten o'clock for a meeting with friends. What a diasappointment. There was one person behind the counter who appeared probably a minute after I arrived at the counter. She didn't even smile let alone say "Hello". Not a good start. It didn't change when my friends arrived either. Everything seemed an effort for her. Then a couple of wasps appeared. I am allergic to them, there was a toddler in our company and a child that was terrified of wasps. I asked the lady if something could be done please after explaining the reasons for removing them - to which she just opened a window and walked away! The parent of the toddler and child end up removing them herself. We stayed for an hour and a half and during that time there was a tray of dirty crockery and cutlery on the table behind us which wasn't removed until about fifteen minutes before we left. Not a busy time because there were only four other people in there apart from us! Seriously not impressed.
