Ordered on the website and order never arrived, but my cards been charged! Will be getting a refund through my bank, avoid this place.

worst food i have ever had..i ordered peri peri chicken and 2 wraps.chicken is uncooked and hard to eat ,chicken tikka wrap is tasteless.

I ordered a meal and paid for delivery on the 9th December . Order never arrived when rang no answer on phone. Will not be ordering from here again. Also no recommendations given.

Poor cheap quality food , chips are shocking threw the whole order in the bin avoid

Just over half filled containers. Swimming in ghee. No fresh flavour in the curry's. Naans are flat and grilled not fluffy out of a tandoor. Used to be really good but too many things wrong here now. I'm out!.

We got food poisoning from here, 🤢🤮😰awful experience, needs closing down. We read online that health food inspection was done in August 2023, and gave them food hygiene rating of only 1, 😮 so it means they are extremely dirty, 😣💩and not following the food standards of safety and cleaning, 🧹🧽🧼🧴avoid this place!!! 🤢🤢🤢🤢⚠️❌

Just finished my curry, naan, and all the sides, was absolutely banging I would definitely recommend, 9/10

£5.99 for a side order of bombay alloo! REALLY! They said but its large.....no its not its normal size! Shocking £5.99 for potatoes. I dont think so. Wont be ordering from there again!!

Ordered as a delivery. Korma looked inedible as a thick congealed mass, the butter chicken looked and tasted exactly like tikka masala and the taste of coconut was very overpowering. The onion bhajis were burnt. The mint sauce was watered down way too much. The paneer saag was edible but with only 3 pieces of paneer. The naan and the poppadoms were nice. Needless to say won't be ordering from here again.

Very cheap and very very nice so many different flavours best Indian I have ever had came on time was easy to order and was very nice over the phone very Patient and very quick thank you Indian empress for your good food and employees and drivers

Appalling. Never delivered. Refused to refund. Then tried to blame us for them not delivering

Second time using them in a month. Really tasty food and decent sized portions for the price. I had chicken jalfrezi and mushroom rice both times as it was delicious!! My husband had the lamb naga and onion rice. He enjoyed the curry but wished he'd gone for the chicken. Poppadoms were super fresh and dios were good Had plain and chilli cheese naan and they were both really tasty. Think this had come my go to take away now. My other half needs xon convincing as his lamb was a bit tough.

Ordered delivery via just eat. They missed the latest estimate of delivery window by over an hour. We called, first they wouldn't pick up, then gave us the standard "will be with you in ten mins". It wasn't even close to ten mins. No apology or explanation. Icing on the cake was when the food (eventually) arrived it was cold, was extremely poor quality chicken, just dry scraps, and the delivery driver was a little rude. We binned it and ordered from somewhere else which while only £7 dearer, actually turned up early, hot and was much better quality. We've ordered here twice, and had the same poor experience twice. Won't make that mistake again. Avoid!!

Will be returning g. They always throwe in a few extras. I always get extra popdoms or they won't hesitate to make your curry extra saucy or too your liking. The men who run the place are geniunly very nice people aswall. 👍

Wonderful curry. The lovely man at the front desk is always accommodating. They keep a small heater at the front and ensure customers are not kept waiting too long. I enjoyed my food will be back soon.

Ordered food, waited hours for it, restaurant said it would be here in 10 mins, 40 mins later still not here, total waste of a Saturday night, then given 2 min eta and now its been 10 mins, I'm going out forget these guys ill get a refund tomorrow

I normally order from here and have no issue but last night I had a food order and in the middle of my sleep I had to wake up cause I was struggling to breathe turns out I had to vomit and that’s just from eating the food it made me feel ill I won’t be ordering in the future

Usually have a lovely curry , last night ours was awful , watery sauce and tasteless, called to let them know and they couldn't care less , total waste of money won't buy from here again

Disappointing Service! Tried to order on the phone and was told that it will be faster if I come and order in store for collection. When I arrived in store, I was asked to wait 25 min for my order. Would have given 0 stars if possible. Simply Avoid!

Ordered food 1st,then read reviews, slightly panicked until food arrived, it was lucking fovely,will definitely be using them again thanks for your lovely meal,to all the people leaving negative reviews, remember this is a small takeaway not a Michelin starred restaurant, I have no complaints whatsoever with food and service,1st time we've ordered from here and it definitely won't be the last time,

Rang up to order food but the guy who answered the phone was extremely rude and didn’t even get chance to try the food but glad I didn’t. Worst customer services

My meal was due at a time but it came 35 minutes later and 3 phone calls then the food was very cold and the food was so bad staff not helpful just put phone down on me never do it again

Put an order in tonight, I requested a chicken tikka masla and naan bread, I got pilau rice with the ctm. When I rang, they first said oh yes you did then changed their mind, I asked if I was going to get my naan bread tonight, they said no because it was too far to go. I don't eat rice so its going in the bin, what a waste, the curry wasn't that good either, so its bye bye from me

Few times got chips that were under cooked

One dish (vegetable bhaji) was nice, but the other (Aloo Chat) was really unpleasant! Samosas were ok, but the yoghurt dip tasted off. Will not be ordering from here again.

This takeaway is for all those 1. The guys who think they are bad cook, believe me you guys are much better. 2. Who thinks fresh made chapatti tastes better than frozen, believe me sometimes frozen tastes better 3. Who want to know how bad indian food can taste, believe me it can also taste bad even that much that you might start to hate it. 4. If you want to suggest Google to have option of 0 star rating. 5. Really good Jalfrezi and Kurma. After reading the reviews, both good and bad we were very happy with our choice. No complaints at all, delivery was good, food was hot and tasty. Not as traditional as our regular Indian, but they don't deliver and we had had too much to drink to drive and our regular Indian doenst deliver to us. This is going to be our new go to when we need food delivered.

I ordered a chicken balti, egg fried rice, keema naan, cheese naan and poppadoms using uber eats. The food came and was swimming in grease, the curry contained bones and the chicken I bite into felt like it contained veins which popped in my mouth. Out of 2 people's food. 2 mouth full of food was eaten and was then thrown away. The issue was raised through uber eats of which the order was placed and indian empress have offered no apology and consider that no refund is warranted. Do not order from this place.

Had a lovely meal from here. Partner enjoyed it as well. Had butter chicken, tandoori half chicken, naan, poppadoms, chips. Tasty food, quick delivery.

Just order Achanak...lamb was so hard you can not not even eat it... also order prawn Biryani. Also prawns was so hard to eat ....horible not fresh at all... the lamb was defenetly like 3 days old...

The food delivered was atrocious! Two pieces of chicken in a very sweet, gritty, luminous red watery sauce (tikka masala) & yes i did say 2 pieces of chicken! You could squeeze the grease out of the Onion Bhajis that were burnt! And the rice was a congealed lump. I wouldn't eat from here again if you paid me!

This is Coventry's hidden gem. By far the best Indian take away I have ever had. Generous portions and great quality food.

I m an Indian worst Indian food ever had in my life .even the street biryani are better that of this restaurant . I just threw away my order in the bin suggestions never order biryani from this place.

Just had a chicken Balti with what was meant to be a Keema Naan and a fried rice. Unfortunately everything tasted the same, no flavour, no spice, really really bland. The food was piping hot when it was delivered so I was really hoping for a good experience but unfortunately it was not good. Won't be ordering from here again, I gave mine to the dog!

Very sad to write this. Last nights food arrived on time but they sent the wrong food. The biriyani should have been keema but instead i fed the bin mutton, i couldnt eat it as i dont like chunks of lamb ever. The starter was excellent but the rest is in the bin, they also ignored the special instructions. First time i ordered the food was amazing this time-rubbish
