We usually order from here and had great experience in the past but tonight was a different story! Phoned for a delivery and was told an hour but more like an hour and a half. When they finally arrived the food was freezing and only half of the order was there! Asked for extra cheese on the pizza - barely any at all, the curry was watery and very little chicken and when the rest of the food arrived 15/20 mins later it was cold and tasteless and missing the extra salad we asked for. Very disappointing tonight. We didn’t expect an order of three items to be such a difficult task!!!

Well where to start...... I ordered from India Cottage for the very first time this evening. Although the delivery was 5 minutes late, it was still hot and packed well. No spills. I can only say in full honesty that all the meals were absolutely fantastic. My Pardesi curry was authentic with a brilliant balance of flavours. Everything else was as good. I will return often as I feel I had the very best meal in this area. I will not hesitate to recommend India Cottage to anyone. 11/10 India Cottage. And thank you very much.

Ordered 2 Large kebabs and a large chips, they forgot to bring the large chips, phoned shop and they will take the £3 off the next order we get

Don’t really understand what happened, I paid by card in advance yet when we called to see where it got to they said our neighbours had eaten it and they were making a fresh one. Who takes in a delivery they didn’t order and haven’t paid for and just eats it.... we’re on good terms with them too. And how did the restaurant already know it went to the wrong address before we called? The two cans of pop they sent to say sorry didn’t really make up for the lost early night we really needed. At least the pizza was good and fresh but it was very strange service!

This was the original order we then reordered on 17/10/18. Exactly the same order. This one was brilliant, the other was awful. I reviewed it and got no response so I called and spoke to the restaurant who said they would respond. Never heard back. Only thought to mention this because of bizarre bad service experience last night! I see some customers get a refund or at least a response!

As usual it arrived on time and is the best pizza in the area. I have never been disappointed with any food ordered from here. Do yourself a favour and order a pizza with doner and green pepper! .......and the nicest delivery drivers !!

Food arrived early, but it was stone cold & I was missing an item from my order. Not only that but after trying to phone, they had either closed early or decided not to answer the phone.

Very very disappointed asked for a hogie wrap was charged 6 pound odd for a tiny wrap plus 2 for delivery and the fact it was cold terrible want be bk!

There was a curry missing so when we all sat down to a birthday meal two people couldn’t eat for 30 minutes. The curry’s were all laden with hot curry powder that made your mouth really burn and couldn’t taste other spices. A bit disappointing

Arrived earlier than expected, tasty food

Food was awful, soggy pizza, missing toppings from part of the order, chips were average, donner meat had what felt like bone in it, cheese on the pizza and chips was vile. Will not order from here again.

PeshawarI Naan was burnt and inedible. Not much paneer in the saag paneer. Didn't have dessert requested and awaiting refund

My food was 45 minutes late and when it arrived it was cold. The service wasn't great either as when I asked where my food was the man in the takeaway said it would be 5 minutes when in fact it was 15 minutes. Not good at all.

Madras from here is excellent. Some kind of fruit flavour in the sauce even when ordering chicken tiles madras. Buy from here a lot. Best madras around.

First time I've left a review on just eat. Normally don't bother but in this case...Sorry. Not impressed with this order. I mean. How can you honestly get a hoggie wrong? Online menu showed donner, chicken donner and chicken tikka. What I actually got was a wrap filled with greasy re-cooked chips. Chicken tikka, donner and what I can only describe as rancid lamb. It really wasn't nice. It was also freezing despite me picking it up 5 mins early. Poor effort.

Only order from here if you want to wait 3 hours for the wrong thing. Cheeky staff, overpriced dry food and horrendous waiting times. Will not. Be back

Food was delicious as always. The order was correct. However it took 45 minutes over the estimation and as I gave the money over the delivery driver walked away without so much as giving me the change back or asking if I wanted it back.

I have no idea what went wrong. I received my order one hour after the expected delivery time. And only after I had to call the restaurant. ... they did not have a confirmed receipt regarding my order so had not made any food for me.

Food once again was terrible, was cold and reheated.. I asked for a plain donnar wrap with just sauce and it came with cheese which I phoned to get a new one and it took nearly an hour to be delivered but when it got deliver we weren't hungry anymore. Every time we order there is always a problem, we spend a lot of money with yourselves and this will be the last we order from you.

Had a shocking meal.. Pakora was reheated, they forgot one of the chips cheese and donnar meat which then took them over an hour to redeliver the food which was freezing and I couldn't eat it! Disgusting. Ordered 3 pizzas, all of which were undercooked and had no sauce - nly cheese and pizza base. After spending £20 I was unimpressed. Orders always wrong. Will not be ordering again.

Food was great but what I got wasn't what I ordered. They didn't have what I ordered, I gave the take away my number with my order so they could've phoned me but just gave me something else, which I didn't like, I also paid £2.60 for 2 bottles of juice and got 2 cans so I was over charged.

Stop substituting drinks! If you don't have the stock don't advertise that you do! Fkn DR Pepper eh no thanks!

As usual tremendous food, It doesn't matter what you order it's always excellent. Food that doesn't instantly bag you up , gives you a low lingering heat for hours after. Quality food. Best I've tasted for a long time.

Una pizza para un pedido de recogida, me dijeron que venga y lo recoja en quince minutos, cuando llegué a la tienda, la pizza no estaba aún en el horno. Tuve que esperar más de quince minutos, cuando llegué a casa con la pizza, no sólo la base de tomate, verduras y queso! Llamé a la tienda para quejarse, al muchacho que me había servido, y él era muy descarado para mí, preguntándome si sabía cuánto tiempo se tarda en cocinar una pizza. Como explicó que había dos pizzas de 14" que tenía que ser preparado antes de la mía, no trabajo en la tienda, así que ¿por qué iba a saber cuánto tiempo se tarda en cocinar una pizza en horno son? Seguramente el muchacho debe saber cuánto tiempo se tarda en hacer una pizza, así que ¿por qué me dicen 15 minutos cuando sabiendo esto?? Desde entonces, ha habido personal completamente diferente, incluyendo el chico joven y actitud es absolutamente chocante, nunca lo visite la tienda de nuevo debido a este problema. Solía ser una comida para llevar absolutamente genial! Pero ha ido cuesta abajo :(. Fui a reclamar a personal, me estaba amenazado por ellos llamando al policía, y estar acompañado de la tienda.

Food was cold, the vegetable pakora was just like scraps.. The pizza was terrible! We have been loyal customers for years and spent a lot of money, our orders over the past few months have been terrible and near enough every order something is forgotten or wrong! Very disappointed.

A little disappointed in my order tonight, was 1 hour and 35 minutes and also asked for a donner meat and cheese pizza and only got a cheese pizza, also wanted salad in my kebab and never got it.

Unfortunately this time our order was 35 minutes late, the pasanda had no almonds as advertised, the bhajis were soggy and cold and the saag paneer was bitter. Most of the order got binned. Won't be using this takeaway again.
