Best Indian takeaway I’ve ever had

I have bought from them for years, when its good its great. Naan was dry and cold, tikka was good. Curry didn't taste freshly made again. rice had no spices as requested again. Soup is always good.

Absolutely shameful!!! Appam was not at all Appam, it was more like the crust of a Appam! Fried chicken 65! A few pieces, not even half a chicken breast size costing more than £10! Oh my word! What a joke , a complete rip off no value for money at all!! So so disappointing!!! Who ever cooked and packed the food should be ashamed of themselves!!! So so disappointed!! Waste of hard earned money!

Delivered wrong item and very poor quality

Fried rice was burnt and Chicken Lollipops has barely any meat on them

Veg rolls are not good ,it’s an awkward smell is coming from the food it’s look like a it’s not fresh food , biryani taste is good but veg rolls are very bad quality

Wrong food sent. When called wasn't bothered. They try to send another food item and hope you just accept it. Had no choice to contact just eat sadly. Avoid

absolutely love thecaloo chat. o fid order fried noodles with veg. but got fried rice instead. prefer noodles to rice. so sad to have not received noodles. no point complaining to just eat as they do not believe you. Roti, lovely. big shame about noodles. cannot eat too much rice. will not order again.

Order through Uber eats . Taste less Chicken soup with super extra hot chilli . Could only eat 2 spoons. Dosa and media vada was only sent itself no sort of chutney and Samber was sent along . Will never order again from here .

They sent the order without wrapping cling film on the curries and by the time it got to us the Deliveroo driver was wearing the curry. Unhygienic, ignorant, dangerous and negligent delivery. The so called “lollipop chicken” is now just a fried chicken wing available in any chicken shop passed on as “lollipop chicken”. What a bunch of cheats.

Poratta was Soo good. But I ordered mutton Rogan Josh which was below average

It's a very rare place that has a very punjabi kind of taste in some curries and also carries the original taste in dosa, idlis etc. It has other curries too if you dont like tikka curries. In nutshell, this is one of rare restaurants that gives you best of both worlds under same roof.

Excellent biryani .. Tired many places in Ilford and seven kings finally got a place to enjoy Real Biryani flavor with well cooked meat + salna..

First time we placed the order today with this restaurant..nice packing and each n every item was so delicious n tasty. Especially the chicken chettinad gravy was so authentic and this one would be best I had ever in London. Any south Indian pls order in this restaurant and you would enjoy the real taste. I love try more items in the coming days!!! People who love Saffron, London Darbar would definitely love this restaurant and don’t miss it 🙌

One of the worst place I've ever seen. Louse environment. Unhealthy foods. Poor packaging. Disgusting customer support and their behaviour. They are too rude also don’t have a minimum time scene.

RUDE STAFF, DISMISSING AND IGNORING CUSTOMERS!!! NEVER ORDER FROM TOO GOOD TO GO APP ! THESE GUYS ARE ON THE APP BUT HAVE NO CLUE HOW IT WORKS! THEY TRY TO LOOK GOOD BY BEING ON THE APP BUT WHEN YOU GO TO COLLECT THEY WILL IGNORE YOU. NEVER MET RUDE PEOPLE AS BAD AS THIS !!!

APPALING service, had food here once before and it was great. Went to pick up a Toogoodtogo order and was ignored by staff members. One told me it was cancelled (which it wasnt as money had been taken from my account and i had proof of order) and told me to go and sort it elsewhere and walked off in the middle of me talking. Clearly calling a colleague and complaining about me in his mother-tongue that i also speak. heard him say what a waste of space and time and insulting. waited for another 10 min before another staff asked what i was waiting for. i told her i was waiting for an order and had no one serve me, she said "ok" once again didnt do anything about it and just carried on with cleaning. Finally the manager walked in and gave excuses without a single "sorry" and was left to go home without my order. Very poor service and absolutely rude behavior from staff.

Sadly can't speak for the food, used to good to go and was completely dismissed and shoo'd away by Diana who wouldn't check the order at all and had all the manners of an angry bear. Awful service

Very delicious food must taste worth it guys

I wish they offer some gravy to kothu. Usually other restaurants give gravy if we order kothu . Chicken kothu was okay not spicy/salty enough . Mutton kothu was really good. It’s fresh and mouthwatering. I ordered two mutton rolls they packed in a big plastic container, which is absolute waste. Pls do some changes on packaging. Overall I enjoyed the food and order again . I live in Ilford for last 8 years, it’s a shame that I didn’t know about this restaurant . Any chance you guys can make weekend special Sri Lanka lump rice ?

This place is amazing... Kothu Roti and Devilled Mutton is really good but you have to try their Aubergine Cutlets. Absolute Heaven!

Authentic Indian food being made by an Indian chef, tried it twice in the last one week, Aubergine cutlet chilli chicken, Paneer and chicken tikka are really good. Tried the sri lankan parotta and it was nice as well.
